14 HGLT परन्तु पतरस ने कहा,“हे प्रभु, कदापि नहीं; क्योंकि मैंने कोई अपवित्र या अशुद्ध वस्तु कभी नहीं खाई है।” BSB BSB: “No, Lord!” Peter answered. “I have never eaten anything impure or unclean.”
15 HGLT और वही आवाज उसके पास फिर से, दूसरी{ बार}{ आई},“जिसे परमेश्वर ने शुद्ध किया है, तू उसे अपवित्र मत ठहरा।” BSB BSB: The voice spoke to him a second time: “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.”
16 HGLT और ऐसा तीन बार हुआ, और वह बर्तन तुरन्त आकाश में वापस उठा लिया गया। BSB BSB: This happened three times, and all at once the sheet was taken back up into heaven.
17 HGLT और जिस समय पतरस अपने में ही संदेह कर रहा था कि जो दर्शन उसने देखा, उसका क्या अर्थ है, तो देखो, कुरनेलियुस के द्वारा भेजे हुए लोग, पूछताछ के द्वारा शमौन का घर ढूँढ़कर, द्वार के सामने खड़े हो गए। BSB BSB: While Peter was puzzling over the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found Simon’s house and approached the gate.
18 HGLT और वे पुकारकर पूछने लगे कि शमौन जो पतरस कहलाता है, क्या यहीं पर अतिथि है? BSB BSB: They called out to ask if Simon called Peter was staying there.
19 HGLT और जिस समय पतरस उस दर्शन के विषय में सोच ही रहा था, तो आत्मा ने उससे कहा,“देख, तीन लोग तुझे ढूँढ़ रहे हैं। BSB BSB: As Peter continued to reflect on the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you.
20 HGLT परन्तु उठकर, नीचे जा और बिना झिझके उनके साथ चला जा, क्योंकि मैंने ही उन्हें भेजा है।” BSB BSB: So get up! Go downstairs and accompany them without hesitation, because I have sent them.”
21 HGLT अत: पतरस ने, उन मनुष्यों के पास नीचे जाकर कहा,“देखो, जिसे तुम ढूँढ़ रहे हो,{ वह} मैं ही हूँ। वह कौन सा कारण{ है} जिसके लिए तुम यहाँ हो?” BSB BSB: So Peter went down to the men and said, “Here am I, the one you are looking for. Why have you come?”

A holy angel instructed him to request your presence in his home so he could hear a message from you.”

27 HGLT और उससे बातें करता हुआ, वह भीतर गया और बहुतेरों को एक साथ इकट्ठे पाया। BSB BSB: As Peter talked with him, he went inside and found many people gathered together.

Suddenly a man in radiant clothing stood before me

Now then, we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has instructed you to tell us.”

41 HGLT सब लोगों को नहीं, परन्तु उन गवाहों को जिन्हें परमेश्वर ने पहले से ही चुन लिया था— अर्थात् हमें जिन्होंने उसके मरे हुओं में से जी उठने के बाद उसके साथ खाया और पीया। BSB BSB: not by all the people, but by the witnesses God had chosen beforehand, by us who ate and drank with Him after He rose from the dead.
42 HGLT और उसने हमें लोगों पर घोषणा करने और गवाही देने की आज्ञा दी कि यह वही है जिसे परमेश्वर के द्वारा जीवितों और मरे हुओं का न्यायी होने के लिए चुना गया है। BSB BSB: And He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the One appointed by God to judge the living and the dead.

44 HGLT जिस समय पतरस ये बातें कह ही रहा था, तो{ उसके} वचन सुनने वाले सब लोगों पर पवित्र आत्मा उतर आया। BSB BSB: While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all who heard his message.
45 HGLT और खतना किए हुए विश्वासयोग्य लोग— जितने पतरस के साथ आए थे— अचम्भा करने लगे, क्योंकि अन्यजातियों पर भी पवित्र आत्मा का दान उण्डेला गया था। BSB BSB: All the circumcised believers who had accompanied Peter were astounded that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles.

48 HGLT और उसने उन्हें यीशु मसीह के नाम से बपतिस्मा लेने की आज्ञा दी। तब उन्होंने उससे कुछ दिनों के लिए ठहरने की विनती की। BSB BSB: So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay for a few days.
