2. 2HGLTकुलुस्से में रहने वाले मसीह में पवित्र लोगों और विश्वासयोग्य भाइयों के नाम। तुम पर अनुग्रह हो और परमेश्वर हमारे पिता तथा प्रभु यीशु मसीह की ओर से तुम्हें शान्ति मिले।BSBBSB: To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace and peace to you from God our Father.
3. 3HGLTतुम्हारे लिए प्रार्थना करते हुए सर्वदा हमारे प्रभु यीशु मसीह के पिता, परमेश्वर का हम धन्यवाद करते हैं,BSBBSB: We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you,

13. 13HGLTउसने हमें अंधकार के अधिकार से छुड़ाया और उसके प्रिय पुत्र के राज्य में हमें स्थानान्तरित कर दिया,BSBBSB: He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of His beloved Son,
14. 14HGLTजिसमें हमें छुटकारा, अर्थात पापों की क्षमा मिलती है।BSBBSB: in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15. 15HGLTवह तो अदृश्य परमेश्वर का प्रतिरूप, अर्थात सारी सृष्टि में पहलौठा है।BSBBSB: The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16. 16HGLTक्योंकि उसमें होकर स्वर्ग में की और पृथ्वी पर की, दृश्यमान और अदृश्य सारी वस्तुएँ रची गई थीं। चाहे सिंहासन हो या प्रभुत्व या सरकारें या अधिकारी, सभी वस्तुएँ उसके द्वारा और उसके लिए रची गई हैं।BSBBSB: For in Him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him.
17. 17HGLTऔर सब वस्तुओं में वही पहला है, और उसी में सब वस्तुएँ स्थिर रहती हैं।BSBBSB: He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
18. 18HGLTऔर वही देह, अर्थात कलीसिया का सिर है। वही आरम्भ है, और मरे हुओं में से पहलौठा है, ताकि वह आप ही सब बातों में पहला हो जाए।BSBBSB: And He is the head of the body, the church; He is the beginning and firstborn from among the dead, so that in all things He may have preeminence.
19. 19HGLTक्‍योंकि सारी परिपूर्णता उसी में वास करने से प्रसन्‍न थी,BSBBSB: For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him,
20. 20HGLTऔर उसके क्रूस के लहू के द्वारा शान्ति स्थापित करके, चाहे पृथ्वी पर की वस्तुएँ हों या स्वर्ग में की वस्तुएँ, सारी वस्तुओं का उसके द्वारा अपने से मेलमिलाप कर ले।BSBBSB: and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of His cross.
