1 HGLT इसलिये, हे पवित्र भाइयों, तुम जो स्वर्गीय बुलाहट के भागीदार हो, हमारे अंगीकार के प्रेरित और महायाजक, यीशु पर ध्यानपूर्वक विचार करो, BSB BSB: Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, set your focus on Jesus, the apostle and high priest whom we confess.
2 HGLT जो अपने नियुक्त करने वाले के प्रति विश्वासयोग्य रहा, जैसे मूसा भी अपने घराने में{ था}। BSB BSB: He was faithful to the One who appointed Him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house.
3 HGLT क्योंकि उसे तो मूसा से भी अधिक महिमा के योग्य माना गया है, जैसे कि घर से{ भी बढ़कर} उसके बनाने वाले का सम्मान होता है। BSB BSB: For Jesus has been counted worthy of greater glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house has greater honor than the house itself.
4 HGLT क्योंकि हर घर को कोई न कोई बनाता है, परन्तु जिसने सब वस्तुओं को बनाया वह परमेश्वर ही{ है}। BSB BSB: And every house is built by someone, but God is the builder of everything.
5 HGLT और मूसा अपने सारे घराने में सेवक के समान विश्वासयोग्य रहा, ताकि भविष्य में बोली जाने वाली{ बातों} की गवाही दे; BSB BSB: Now Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s house, testifying to what would be spoken later.
6 HGLT परन्तु मसीह, पुत्र के समान उसके घर का अधिकारी है(और उसका घर हम हैं यदि हम भरोसे को थामे रहें और अपनी आशा पर गर्व करें)। BSB BSB: But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are His house, if we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope of which we boast.
7 HGLT इसलिये, जैसा पवित्र आत्मा कहता है कि:“आज के दिन, यदि तुम उसका शब्द सुनो, BSB BSB: Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you hear His voice,
8 HGLT तो अपने मनों को कठोर न करना जैसा जंगल में परीक्षा के दिन, क्रोध दिलाने के समय किया था BSB BSB: do not harden your hearts, as you did in the rebellion, in the day of testing in the wilderness,
9 HGLT जहाँ तुम्हारे पूर्वजों ने जाँच करके{ मुझे} परखा, और चालीस वर्षों तक उन्होंने मेरे काम देखे। BSB BSB: where your fathers tested and tried Me, and for forty years saw My works.
10 HGLT इसलिये, मैं उस पीढ़ी पर बहुत क्रोधित हुआ, और मैंने कहा,‘वे अपने मनों में सर्वदा भटकते रहते हैं, और उन्होंने मेरे मार्गों को नहीं पहचाना।’ BSB BSB: Therefore I was angry with that generation, and I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known My ways.’
11 HGLT तब मैंने अपने क्रोध में शपथ खाई,‘... क्या वे मेरे विश्राम में प्रवेश करेंगे!’ BSB BSB: So I swore on oath in My anger, ‘They shall never enter My rest.’”
12 HGLT हे भाइयों, सचेत रहो, ताकि तुममें से कोई अविश्वास वाले दुष्ट हृदय का न हो, जो जीवित परमेश्वर से दूर हो जाए। BSB BSB: See to it, brothers, that none of you has a wicked heart of unbelief that turns away from the living God.
13 HGLT इसके बजाय, जब तक इसे“आज का दिन” कहा जाता है, तब तक हर दिन एक- दूसरे को समझाते रहो, ताकि तुममें से कोई भी पाप की धोखाधड़ी के द्वारा कठोर न हो जाए। BSB BSB: But exhort one another daily, as long as it is called today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
14 HGLT क्योंकि यदि सचमुच हम अपने भरोसे के आरम्भ को अन्त तक दृढ़ता से थामे रखते हैं, तो हम मसीह के भागीदार हो गए हैं। BSB BSB: We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly to the end the assurance we had at first.
15 HGLT जबकि ऐसा कहा गया है कि,“आज के दिन यदि तुम उसका शब्द सुनो, तो अपने हृदयों को कठोर न करना, जैसा बलवा करने के दिन किया था। BSB BSB: As it has been said: “Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts, as you did in the rebellion.”
16 HGLT क्योंकि सुनकर भी,{ उसे} किन लोगों ने क्रोध दिलाया? क्या ये वही सब लोग नहीं{ थे} जो मूसा के द्वारा मिस्र से बाहर निकले थे? BSB BSB: For who were the ones who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt?
17 HGLT और चालीस वर्षों तक वह किससे अत्यन्त क्रोधित रहा? क्या ये वही लोग नहीं{ थे} जिन्होंने पाप किया था, और जिनके शव जंगल में पड़े रहे? BSB BSB: And with whom was God angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness?
18 HGLT और उसने किससे शपथ खाई थी कि वे उसके विश्राम में प्रवेश नहीं करेंगे, क्या उन्हीं से नहीं जिन्होंने अनाज्ञाकारिता की थी? BSB BSB: And to whom did He swear that they would never enter His rest? Was it not to those who disobeyed?
19 HGLT और हम देखते हैं कि अविश्वास के कारण, वे प्रवेश नहीं कर पाए। BSB BSB: So we see that it was because of their unbelief that they were unable to enter.
