5 HGLT अब वहाँ एक मनुष्य था जो 38 वर्ष से अपनी बीमारी में था। BSB BSB: One man there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years.
6 HGLT उसे वहाँ पड़ा हुआ देखकर, और यह जानकर कि वह वहाँ बहुत समय से पड़ा था, यीशु उससे कहता है,“क्या तू स्वस्थ होना चाहता है?” BSB BSB: When Jesus saw him lying there and realized that he had spent a long time in this condition, He asked him, “Do you want to get well?”
7 HGLT उस बीमार मनुष्य ने उसे प्रतिउत्तर दिया,“हे महोदय, मेरा पास कोई ऐसा जन नहीं है जो कि मुझे कुंड में उस समय उतार दे, जब पानी हिलाया जाता हैI परन्तु मेरे उसमें जाते- जाते ही, कोई दूसरा मुझ से पहले उतर जाता है।” BSB BSB: “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am on my way, someone else goes in before me.”
8 HGLT यीशु उससे कहता है,“खड़ा हो, अपनी चटाई उठा, और चल फिर।” BSB BSB: Then Jesus told him, “Get up, pick up your mat, and walk.”
9 HGLT और तुरन्त ही वह मनुष्य चंगा हो गया, और उसने अपनी चटाई उठा ली और चलने फिरने लगा। अब वह सब्त का दिन था। BSB BSB: Immediately the man was made well, and he picked up his mat and began to walk. Now this happened on the Sabbath day,
10 HGLT इसलिए जो चंगा हो गया था उससे यहूदियों ने कहा,“यह सब्त का दिन है और तुझे अपनी चटाई उठाने की अनुमति नहीं है।” BSB BSB: so the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “This is the Sabbath! It is unlawful for you to carry your mat.”
11 HGLT परन्तु उसने उनको प्रतिउत्तर दिया,“जिसने मुझे स्वस्थ किया, उसी ने मुझ से कहा,‘अपनी चटाई उठा और चल फिर।’” BSB BSB: But he answered, “The man who made me well told me, ‘Pick up your mat and walk.’”
12 HGLT उन्होंने उससे पूछा,“वह मनुष्य कौन है जिसने तुझ से कहा था कि‘इसे उठा और चल फिर’?” BSB BSB: “Who is this man who told you to pick it up and walk?” they asked.
13 HGLT परन्तु जो चंगा हुआ था वह नहीं जानता था कि वह कौन था, क्योंकि उस स्थान में भीड़ होने के कारण यीशु गुप्त रूप से निकल कर चला गया था। BSB BSB: But the man who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had slipped away while the crowd was there.
14 HGLT इन बातों के बाद, वह मनुष्य यीशु को मंदिर में मिला और उससे कहा,“देख, तू स्वस्थ हो गया है! इसके बाद पाप मत करना, जिससे कि तेरे साथ कुछ अधिक बुरा घटित न हो।” BSB BSB: Afterward, Jesus found the man at the temple and said to him, “See, you have been made well. Stop sinning, or something worse may happen to you.”
15 HGLT वह मनुष्य चला गया और यहूदियों को बता दिया कि जिसने उसे स्वस्थ किया वह यीशु था। BSB BSB: And the man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well.
16 HGLT और इसके कारण, यहूदियों ने यीशु को इसलिए सताना आरम्भ कर दिया, क्योंकि वह सब्त के दिन इन कामों को कर रहा था। BSB BSB: Now because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jews began to persecute Him.
17 HGLT परन्तु उसने उनको प्रतिउत्तर दिया,“मेरा पिता अभी भी काम कर रहा है, और मैं भी काम कर रहा हूँ।” BSB BSB: But Jesus answered them, “To this very day My Father is at His work, and I too am working.”
19 HGLT इसलिए यीशु ने उत्तर देकर उनसे कहा,“मैं तुम से सच- सच कहता हूँ कि पुत्र अपने आप से कुछ भी नहीं कर सकता है, केवल उसके अलावा जो वह अपने पिता को करते हुए देखे, क्योंकि जो कुछ भी वह करे, उन्हीं कामों को पुत्र भी उसी रीति से करता है। BSB BSB: So Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing by Himself, unless He sees the Father doing it. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does.
20 HGLT क्योंकि पिता पुत्र से प्रेम करता है और जिन कामों को वह स्वयं करता है उन कामों को वह उस पर प्रकट करता है, और वह उसे इनसे भी बड़े- बड़े कामों को दिखाएगा ताकि तुम अचम्भित हो जाओ। BSB BSB: The Father loves the Son and shows Him all He does. And to your amazement, He will show Him even greater works than these.
21 HGLT क्योंकि जैसे पिता मरे हुओं को उठाता है और उनको जीवन करता है, वैसे ही पुत्र भी जिसको वह चाहता है जीवन प्रदान करता है। BSB BSB: For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom He wishes.
22 HGLT क्योंकि पिता तो किसी का भी न्याय नहीं करता, परन्तु उसने पुत्र को ही सारा न्याय का काम सौंपा हुआ है BSB BSB: Furthermore, the Father judges no one, but has assigned all judgment to the Son,
23 HGLT ताकि सब लोग पुत्र का सम्मान वैसे ही करें जैसे वे पिता का सम्मान करते हैं। जो कोई भी पुत्र का सम्मान नहीं करता वह पिता का सम्मान भी नहीं करता जिसने उसे भेजा है। BSB BSB: so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.
24 HGLT मैं तुम से सच- सच कहता हूँ कि जो मेरे वचन सुनता है और जिसने मुझे भेजा है उस पर विश्वास करता है वह अनन्त जीवन पाता है और वह न्याय के अधीन नहीं आता, परन्तु वह मृत्यु से पार होकर जीवन में प्रवेश कर चुका है। BSB BSB: Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.
25 HGLT मैं तुम से सच- सच कहता हूँ कि ऐसा समय आ रहा है, और अभी है, जब मरे हुए परमेश्वर के पुत्र की वाणी सुनेंगे, और जो सुनेंगे वे जीएँगे। BSB BSB: Truly, truly, I tell you, the hour is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
26 HGLT क्योंकि जिस प्रकार से पिता अपने में जीवन रखता है, वैसे ही उसने पुत्र को भी सौंपा है कि अपने में जीवन रखे, BSB BSB: For as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted the Son to have life in Himself.
27 HGLT और उसने उसे न्याय करने का अधिकार प्रदान किया, क्योंकि वह मनुष्य का पुत्र है। BSB BSB: And He has given Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.
29 HGLT और बाहर निकल आएँगे— जितनों ने भले काम किए हैं वे जीवन के पुनरुत्थान के लिए, और जितनों ने बुरे काम किए हैं वे न्याय के पुनरुत्थान के लिए। BSB BSB: and come out—those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment.

And My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
31 HGLT यदि मैं अपने विषय में गवाही दूँ, तो मेरी गवाही सच्ची नहीं होगी। BSB BSB: If I testify about Myself, My testimony is not valid.
32 HGLT यहाँ कोई अन्य भी है जो मेरे विषय में गवाही देता है, और मैं जानता हूँ कि जो गवाही वह मेरे विषय में देता है वह सच्ची है। BSB BSB: There is another who testifies about Me, and I know that His testimony about Me is valid.
33 HGLT तुम ने यूहन्ना के पास लोगों को भेजा, और उसने सत्य की गवाही दी। BSB BSB: You have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth.
34 HGLT परन्तु मैं मनुष्यों की गवाही को ग्रहण नहीं करता, परन्तु मैं इन बातों को इसलिए कहता हूँ ताकि तुम उद्धार पाओ। BSB BSB: Even though I do not accept human testimony, I say these things so that you may be saved.
35 HGLT वह तो ऐसा दीपक था जो जल रहा था और चमक रहा था, परन्तु एक घंटे के लिए तुम ने उसकी ज्योति में मगन होना चाहा। BSB BSB: John was a lamp that burned and gave light, and you were willing for a season to bask in his light.
36 HGLT परन्तु मेरे पास वह गवाही है जो यूहन्ना की गवाही से बढ़कर है: क्योंकि जो काम पिता ने मुझे सौंपे हैं ताकि मैं उनको पूरा करूँ— वे वही काम हैं जिनको मैं करता हूँ— वे मेरे विषय में गवाही देते हैं कि मुझे पिता ने भेजा है। BSB BSB: But I have testimony more substantial than that of John. For the works that the Father has given Me to accomplish—the very works I am doing—testify about Me that the Father has sent Me.
37 HGLT और पिता ने जिसने मुझे भेजा है स्वयं ही मेरे विषय में गवाही दी है। तुम ने न तो उसकी वाणी को कभी सुना है और न उसका रूप देखा है। BSB BSB: And the Father who sent Me has Himself testified about Me. You have never heard His voice nor seen His form,
38 HGLT और तुम अपने भीतर उसके वचन को बनाए नहीं रखते, क्योंकि जिसे उसने भेजा है, उस पर तुम विश्वास नहीं करते। BSB BSB: nor does His word abide in you, because you do not believe the One He sent.

40 HGLT और तुम मेरे पास आने की इच्छा नहीं रखते जिससे कि तुम को जीवन प्राप्त हो। BSB BSB: yet you refuse to come to Me to have life.
41 HGLT मैं मनुष्यों की बड़ाई को ग्रहण नहीं करता, BSB BSB: I do not accept glory from men,
42 HGLT परन्तु मैं तुम को जानता हूँ, कि तुम में परमेश्वर का प्रेम नहीं है। BSB BSB: but I know you, that you do not have the love of God within you.
43 HGLT मैं अपने पिता के नाम से आया हूँ, और तुम मुझे ग्रहण नहीं करते। यदि कोई अन्य{ अपने ही} नाम से आए, तो तुम उसे ग्रहण करते हो। BSB BSB: I have come in My Father’s name, and you have not received Me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will receive him.
44 HGLT तुम जो एक दूसरे से बड़ाई चाहते हो, और उस बड़ाई की खोज नहीं करते जो एकमात्र परमेश्वर की ओर से आती है, तो कैसे विश्वास कर सकते हो? BSB BSB: How can you believe if you accept glory from one another, yet do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?
45 HGLT यह मत सोचो कि अपने पिता के सामने मैं स्वयं तुम पर दोष लगाऊँगा। जो व्यक्ति तुम पर दोष लगा रहा है वह मूसा है, जिस पर तुम ने अपनी आशा लगा रखी है। BSB BSB: Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, in whom you have put your hope.
47 HGLT परन्तु यदि तुम उसकी लिखी हुई बातों पर विश्वास नहीं करते, तो तुम मेरी बातों पर कैसे विश्वास करोगे?” BSB BSB: But since you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?”
