4 HGLT क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने यह कहते हुए, आज्ञा दी थी,‘अपने पिता और अपनी माता का आदर करना,’ और‘जो कोई जन अपने पिता या माता को बुरा कहे, वह मार डाला जाए।’ BSB BSB: For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’
5 HGLT परन्तु तुम कहते हो,‘जो कोई भी अपने पिता या माता से कहता है कि“जो कुछ मेरी ओर से सहायक हो सकता है वह एक भेंट{ है},”’ BSB BSB: But you say that if anyone says to his father or mother, ‘Whatever you would have received from me is a gift devoted to God,’
6 HGLT वह निश्चित रूप से अपने पिता का आदर नहीं करेगा। और इस प्रकार तुमने अपनी परम्पराओं के कारण परमेश्वर का वचन व्यर्थ कर दिया। BSB BSB: he need not honor his father or mother with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.
7 HGLT तुम कपटियों! यशायाह ने तुम्हारे विषय में यह कहकर ठीक भविष्यद्वाणी की थी, BSB BSB: You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you:
9 HGLT परन्तु मनुष्यों की आज्ञाओं को धर्मोपदेश के रूप में सिखाते हुए, वे व्यर्थ में मेरी उपासना करते हैं।’” BSB BSB: They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”
10 HGLT और भीड़ को बुलाकर, उसने उनसे कहा,“सुनो और समझो: BSB BSB: Jesus called the crowd to Him and said, “Listen and understand.

12 HGLT तब आकर, चेलों ने उससे कहा,“क्या तू जानता है कि यह वचन सुनकर फरीसी अपमानित हुए हैं?” BSB BSB: Then the disciples came to Him and said, “Are You aware that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”
13 HGLT परन्तु उत्तर देते हुए, उसने कहा,“हर पौधा जो मेरे स्वर्गीय पिता ने नहीं लगाया वह उखाड़ा जाएगा। BSB BSB: But Jesus replied, “Every plant that My heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by its roots.
14 HGLT उनको जाने दो! वेअंधे मार्गदर्शक हैं। परन्तु यदि अंधा अंधे का मार्गदर्शन करता है, तो दोनों गड्ढे में गिर पड़ेंगे।” BSB BSB: Disregard them! They are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”
15 HGLT अब प्रतिउत्तर देते हुए, पतरस ने उससे कहा,“यह दृष्टान्त हमें समझा दे।” BSB BSB: Peter said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.”
16 HGLT परन्तु उसने कहा,“क्या तुम भी अब तक नासमझ हो? BSB BSB: “Do you still not understand?” Jesus asked.
17 HGLT क्या तुम अब भी नहीं समझते कि जो कुछ भी मुँह में जाता है, वह पेट में पड़ता है, और शौच से निकल जाता है? BSB BSB: “Do you not yet realize that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then is eliminated?
18 HGLT परन्तु जो बातें मुँह से निकलती हैं, वह हृदय से आती हैं, और वही मनुष्य को अशुद्ध करती हैं। BSB BSB: But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these things defile a man.
19 HGLT क्योंकि बुरे विचार, हत्या, व्यभिचार, यौन अनैतिकता, चोरी, झूठी गवाही{ और} निन्दा हृदय ही से निकलती है। BSB BSB: For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander.
20 HGLT यही वे बातें हैं जो मनुष्य को अशुद्ध करती हैं, परन्तु हाथ धोए बिना भोजन करना मनुष्य को अशुद्ध नहीं करता।” BSB BSB: These are what defile a man, but eating with unwashed hands does not defile him.”
22 HGLT और देखो, उस प्रदेश से एक कनानी स्त्री आई, जो यह कहकर चिल्ला रही थी,“प्रभु, दाऊद की सन्तान, मुझ पर दया कर! मेरी बेटी बुरी तरह दुष्टात्मा से ग्रस्त है।” BSB BSB: And a Canaanite woman from that region came to Him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is miserably possessed by a demon.”
25 HGLT परन्तु वह, आकर, उसके आगे यह कहकर झुकी,“प्रभु, मेरी सहायता कर।” BSB BSB: The woman came and knelt before Him. “Lord, help me!” she said.
26 HGLT अब उसने उत्तर देते हुए कहा,“बच्चों की रोटी लेकर{ उसे} कुत्तों के आगे फेंक देना अच्छा नहीं है।” BSB BSB: But Jesus replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
27 HGLT परन्तु उसने कहा,“हाँ, प्रभु, तौभी कुत्ते भी अपने स्वामियों की मेजों से गिरने वाले टुकड़ों को खाते हैं।” BSB BSB: “Yes, Lord,” she said, “even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
29 HGLT और वहाँ से निकलकर, यीशु गलील की झील के पास आया, और एक पहाड़ पर चढ़कर वह वहाँ बैठ गया। BSB BSB: Moving on from there, Jesus went along the Sea of Galilee. Then He went up on a mountain and sat down.
30 HGLT और बहुत बड़ी भीड़ अपने साथ लँगड़ों, अंधों, टुण्डों, गूँगों, और अन्य बहुतों को लेकर उसके पास ऊपर आई। और उन्होंने उन्हें उसके पाँवों पर डाल दिया, और उसने उन्हें चंगा किया, BSB BSB: Large crowds came to Him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and laid them at His feet, and He healed them.

And they glorified the God of Israel.
32 HGLT परन्तु यीशु ने, अपने चेलों को बुलाकर, कहा,“मुझे भीड़ पर तरस आता है, क्योंकि वे पहले से ही तीन दिनों से मेरे साथ हैं और उनके पास खाने को कुछ नहीं है। और मैं उन्हें भूखा विदा करना नहीं चाहता, ऐसा न हो कि वे मार्ग में मूर्छित हो जाएँ।” BSB BSB: Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I have compassion for this crowd, because they have already been with Me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may faint along the way.”
33 HGLT और चेलों ने उससे कहा,“इस निर्जन स्थान में हमें इतनी रोटी कहाँ से{ मिलेगी} कि इतनी बड़ी भीड़ को तृप्त करें?” BSB BSB: The disciples replied, “Where in this desolate place could we find enough bread to feed such a large crowd?”
34 HGLT और यीशु ने उनसे पूछा,“तुम्हारे पास कितनी रोटियाँ हैं?” और उन्होंने कहा,“सात, और थोड़ी सी छोटी मछलियाँ भी हैं।” BSB BSB: “How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Seven,” they replied, “and a few small fish.”
35 HGLT और भीड़ को भूमि पर बैठने की आज्ञा देकर, BSB BSB: And He instructed the crowd to sit down on the ground.
36 HGLT उसने उन सात रोटियों और मछलियों को लिया, और धन्यवाद देकर, उसने{ उन्हें} तोड़ा और{ उन्हें} अपने चेलों को देता गया, और चेले भीड़ को देते गए। BSB BSB: Taking the seven loaves and the fish, He gave thanks and broke them. Then He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.
37 HGLT और वे सब लोग खाकर तृप्त हो गए। वे टूटे हुए टुकड़ों के शेष की भरी हुई सात टोकरियाँ लेकर गए। BSB BSB: They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
38 HGLT परन्तु स्त्रियों और बालकों को छोड़कर खानेवाले 4, 000 पुरुष थे। BSB BSB: A total of four thousand men were fed, besides women and children.
39 HGLT और भीड़ को विदा करके, वह नाव पर चढ़ गया, और मगदन क्षेत्र को चला गया। BSB BSB: After Jesus had dismissed the crowds, He got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.
