3 HGLT और भोर को कहते हो, कि‘आज आँधी आएगी, क्योंकि आकाश लाल और धुमला है।’ तुम आकाश को देखकर उसकी व्याख्या करना जानते हो, परन्तु समय के चिन्हों के तुम योग्य नहीं हो।”] BSB BSB: and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but not the signs of the times.

7 HGLT परन्तु वे आपस में यह कहकर विचार करने लगे,“{ वह ऐसा इसलिए कहता है} क्योंकि हम रोटी नहीं लाए।” BSB BSB: They discussed this among themselves and concluded, “It is because we did not bring any bread.”
8 HGLT परन्तु यीशु ने यह जानकर, कहा,“हे अल्पविश्वासियों, तुम आपस में यह विचार क्यों करते हो कि{ ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि} तुम्हारे पास रोटी नहीं है? BSB BSB: Aware of their conversation, Jesus said, “You of little faith, why are you debating among yourselves about having no bread?
9 HGLT क्या तुम अब तक नहीं समझते और न ही उन 5, 000 की पाँच रोटियाँ स्मरण करते हो, और तुम ने कितनी टोकरियाँ इकट्ठी की थीं? BSB BSB: Do you still not understand? Do you not remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?
10 HGLT या उन 4, 000 की सात रोटियाँ, और तुम ने कितनी टोकरियाँ उठाई थीं? BSB BSB: Or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many basketfuls you gathered?
11 HGLT तुम कैसे नहीं समझते कि मैंने तुम से रोटी के विषय में नहीं कहा था? परन्तु फरीसियों और सदूकियों के ख़मीर से सावधान रहो।” BSB BSB: How do you not understand that I was not telling you about bread? But beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
12 HGLT तब वे समझ गए कि उसने उन्हें रोटी के ख़मीर से नहीं, परन्तु फरीसियों और सदूकियों की शिक्षा से सावधान रहने को कहा था। BSB BSB: Then they understood that He was not telling them to beware of the leaven used in bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
13 HGLT अब यीशु, कैसरिया फिलिप्पी के क्षेत्रों में आकर, अपने चेलों से यह कहकर पूछने लगा,“लोग क्या कहते हैं कि मनुष्य का पुत्र कौन है?” BSB BSB: When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, He questioned His disciples: “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 HGLT और उन्होंने कहा,“कुछ, यूहन्ना बपतिस्मा देने वाला; और कुछ, एलिय्याह; और अन्य, यिर्मयाह, या भविष्यद्वक्ताओं में से कोई एक।” BSB BSB: They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 HGLT उसने उनसे कहा,“परन्तु तुम क्या कहते हो कि मैं कौन हूँ?” BSB BSB: “But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 HGLT और उत्तर देते हुए, शमौन पतरस ने कहा,“तू मसीह है, जीवित परमेश्वर का पुत्र।” BSB BSB: Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
17 HGLT अब यीशु ने उत्तर देते हुए, उससे कहा,“हे शमौन, योना के पुत्र, तू धन्य है, क्योंकि माँस और लहू ने नहीं, परन्तु मेरे पिता ने जो स्वर्ग में है, यह बात तुझ पर प्रकट की है। BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven.
19 HGLT मैं तुझे स्वर्ग के राज्य की कुँजियाँ दूँगा, और जो कुछ तू पृथ्वी पर बाँधेगा वह स्वर्ग में बँधेगा, और जो कुछ तू पृथ्वी पर खोलेगा, वह स्वर्ग में खुलेगा।” BSB BSB: I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
20 HGLT तब उसने चेलों को आज्ञा दी वे किसी से न कहें कि वह मसीह है। BSB BSB: Then He admonished the disciples not to tell anyone that He was the Christ.
21 HGLT उसी समय से यीशु मसीह नेअपने चेलों को समझाना आरम्भ किया कि उसके लिये यरूशलेम जाना और प्राचीनों और प्रधान याजकों और शास्त्रियों से बहुत दुःख उठाना और मार डाला जाना और तीसरे दिन जी उठना आवश्यक है। BSB BSB: From that time on Jesus began to show His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and that He must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.
22 HGLT और पतरस उसे अलग ले जाकर, यह कहकर डाँटने लगा,“हे प्रभु, तुझ पर दया हो; और तेरे साथ ऐसा कभी न हो।” BSB BSB: Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. “Far be it from You, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to You!”
23 HGLT परन्तु उसने, फिरकर, पतरस से कहा,“शैतान, मुझ से पीछे हट जा! तू मेरे लिये ठोकर लगने की बाधा है, क्योंकि तू परमेश्वर की बातों पर नहीं, परन्तु मनुष्यों की बातों पर विचार कर रहा है। BSB BSB: But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me. For you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.”
24 HGLT तब यीशु ने अपने चेलों से कहा,“यदि कोई मेरे पीछे आना चाहे, तो अपना इन्कार करे और अपना क्रूस उठाकर मेरे पीछे हो ले। BSB BSB: Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.
25 HGLT क्योंकि जो कोई अपना प्राण बचाना चाहे वह उसे खोएगा, परन्तु जो कोई मेरे निमित्त अपना प्राण खोएगा वह उसे पाएगा। BSB BSB: For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
26 HGLT क्योंकि किसी मनुष्य को क्या लाभ होगा यदि वह सारे जगत को प्राप्त करे, परन्तु अपना जीवन खो दे? या एक मनुष्य अपने जीवन के बदले में क्या देगा? BSB BSB: What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 HGLT क्योंकि मनुष्य का पुत्र अपने स्वर्गदूतों के साथ अपने पिता की महिमा में आएगा। और उस समय वह हर एक को उसके कामों के अनुसार बदला देगा। BSB BSB: For the Son of Man will come in His Father’s glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done.
28 HGLT मैं तुम से सच कहता हूँ कि जो यहाँ खड़े हैं, उनमें से कितने तो ऐसे हैं जो उस समय तक मृत्यु का स्वाद कभी न चखेंगे, जब तक वे मनुष्य के पुत्र को उसके राज्य में आता हुआ देख नहीं लेंगे।” BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in His kingdom.”
