2 HGLT और देखो, एक कोढ़ी ने पास आकर उसे झुककर प्रणाम करके कहने लगे,“प्रभु, यदि तेरी इच्छा हो, तो तू मुझे शुद्ध करने में सक्षम है।” BSB BSB: Suddenly a leper came and knelt before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
3 HGLT और उसने अपना हाथ बढ़ाकर उसे यह कहकर छू लिया,“मैं चाहता हूँ। शुद्ध हो जा।” और तुरन्त ही वह अपने कोढ़ से शुद्ध हो गया। BSB BSB: Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 HGLT और यीशु ने उससे कहा,“देख तू किसी से न कहना, परन्तु जा, अपने आपको याजक को दिखा और जो चढ़ावा मूसा ने ठहराया है उसे चढ़ा, ताकि उनके लिये गवाही हो।” BSB BSB: Then Jesus instructed him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”
5 HGLT फिर{ जब} वह कफरनहूम में आया, तो एक सूबेदार ने उसके पास आकर उससे विनती की, BSB BSB: When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came and pleaded with Him,
6 HGLT और कहा,“प्रभु, मेरा सेवक घर में लकवे का मारा बहुत दुःखी पड़ा है।” BSB BSB: “Lord, my servant lies at home, paralyzed and in terrible agony.”
7 HGLT और उसने उससे कहा,“मैं{ जब} आऊँगा, तो उसे चंगा कर दूँगा।” BSB BSB: “I will go and heal him,” Jesus replied.
8 HGLT और उत्तर देते हुए, सूबेदार ने कहा,“प्रभु, मैं इस योग्य नहीं, कि तू मेरी छत के तले आए, परन्तु केवल वचन ही कह दे, और मेरा सेवक चंगा हो जाएगा। BSB BSB: The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9 HGLT क्योंकि मैं भी एक ऐसा मनुष्य हूँ जिसे अधिकार के अधीन रखा गया है, और मेरे अधीन भी सैनिक हैं। और मैं इस से कहता हूँ,' जा,' और वह जाता है, और दूसरे से,' आ,' और वह आता है, और अपने दास से,' यह कर,' और वह{ उसे} करता है।” BSB BSB: For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell one to go, and he goes, and another to come, and he comes. I tell my servant to do something, and he does it.”
10 HGLT परन्तु यह सुनकर, यीशु ने अचम्भा किया और जो लोग उसके पीछे- पीछे आ रहे थे उनसे कहा,“मैं तुम से सच कहता हूँ, कि मैंने इस्राएल के किसी भी मनुष्य में इतना बड़ा विश्वास नहीं पाया। BSB BSB: When Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
11 HGLT परन्तु मैं तुम से कहता हूँ कि पूर्व और पश्चिम से बहुत सारे लोग आएँगे, और अब्राहम और इसहाक और याकूब के साथ स्वर्ग के राज्य में भोजन करने के लिये बैठेंगे। BSB BSB: I say to you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
12 HGLT परन्तु राज्य की सन्तानों को बाहर अंधकार में डाल दिया जाएगा, जहाँ रोना और दाँतों का पीसना होगा।” BSB BSB: But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13 HGLT और यीशु ने सूबेदार से कहा,“चला जा! जैसा तेरा विश्वास है, वैसा ही तेरे लिये हो।” और उसी घड़ी वह सेवक चंगा हो गया। BSB BSB: Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.
15 HGLT और उसने उसका हाथ छुआ, तो उसका बुखार उतर गया, और वह उठकर उसकी सेवा करने लगी। BSB BSB: So He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve Him.
16 HGLT जब संध्या हुई, तब वे लोग उसके पास ऐसे बहुत से लोगों को लेकर आए जिनमें दुष्टात्माएँ थीं, और उसने उन आत्माओं को वचन के द्वारा निकाल दिया, और जो बीमार थे उन सब को चंगा किया, BSB BSB: When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Jesus, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
17 HGLT ताकि जो यशायाह भविष्यद्वक्ता के द्वारा कहा गया था वह पूरा हो,“उसने आप हमारी दुर्बलताओं को ले लिया और हमारी बीमारियों को उठा लिया।” BSB BSB: This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases.”
18 HGLT फिर यीशु ने, अपने चारों ओर एक भीड़ को देखकर, दूसरी ओर प्रस्थान करने की आज्ञा दी। BSB BSB: When Jesus saw a large crowd around Him, He gave orders to cross to the other side of the sea.
19 HGLT और एक शास्त्री ने पास आकर उससे कहा,“गुरु, जहाँ कहीं तू जाएगा, मैं तेरे पीछे- पीछे हो लूँगा।” BSB BSB: And one of the scribes came to Him and said, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
20 HGLT और यीशु ने उससे कहा,“लोमड़ियों के भट और आकाश के पक्षियों के बसेरे होते हैं, परन्तु मनुष्य के पुत्र के पास{ ऐसी कोई जगह} नहीं है जहाँ वह अपना सिर धर सके।” BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”
21 HGLT फिर एक अन्य चेले ने उससे कहा,“प्रभु, पहले मुझे अनुमति दे कि जाऊँ और अपने पिता को गाड़ दूँ।” BSB BSB: Another of His disciples requested, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
22 HGLT परन्तु यीशु ने उससे कहा,“मेरे पीछे हो ले, और मुर्दों को अपने मुर्दे गाड़ने दे।” BSB BSB: But Jesus told him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
23 HGLT और{ जब} वह नाव में चढ़ा, तो उसके चेले उसके पीछे हो लिये। BSB BSB: When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
24 HGLT और देखो, समुद्र में एक बड़ा तूफान उठा, जिससे नाव लहरों से ढँपने लगी। परन्तु वह सो रहा था। BSB BSB: Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves. But Jesus was sleeping.
25 HGLT और उन्होंने पास आकर उसे जगाकर कहा,“प्रभु, हमें बचा; हम नाश हो रहे हैं!” BSB BSB: The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
26 HGLT और उसने उनसे कहा,“अल्पविश्वासियों, तुम क्यों डरते हो?” तब उसने उठकर आँधी और समुद्र को डाँटा, और बड़ी शान्ति छा गई। BSB BSB: “You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.
27 HGLT परन्तु वे लोग अचम्भा करके कहने लगे,“यह कैसा मनुष्य है, कि आँधी और पानी भी उसकी आज्ञा मानते हैं।” BSB BSB: The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!”
28 HGLT और{ जब} वह दूसरी ओर, गदरेनों के देश में आया, तो दो मनुष्य उससे मिले, जो दुष्टात्माओ से ग्रस्त थे, और कब्रों से बाहर आ रहे थे, और बहुत हिंसक थे, जिससे कि कोई भी इतना बलवान नहीं था कि उस सड़क से होकर जा पाए। BSB BSB: When Jesus arrived on the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, He was met by two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
29 HGLT और देखो, उन्होंने चिल्लाकर कहा,“परमेश्वर के पुत्र, हमें और तुझे क्या? क्या तू नियुक्त समय से पहले हमें दुःख देने यहाँ आया है?” BSB BSB: “What do You want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
30 HGLT अब उनसे कुछ दूर बहुत से सूअरों का एक झुण्ड चर रहा था। BSB BSB: In the distance a large herd of pigs was feeding.
31 HGLT परन्तु दुष्टात्माओं ने उससे यह कहकर विनती की,“यदि तू हमें निकालता है, तो सूअरों के झुण्ड में भेज दे।” BSB BSB: So the demons begged Jesus, “If You drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
32 HGLT और उसने उनसे कहा,“जाओ!” और वे निकलकर सूअरों में घुस गईं; और देखो, वह पूरा का पूरा झुण्ड टीले पर से झपटकर समुद्र में जा पड़ा, और वे पानी में मर गए। BSB BSB: “Go!” He told them. So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters.
33 HGLT अब जो लोग उन्हें चरा रहे थे वे भाग खड़े हुए, और नगर में जाकर ये सब बातें, और जिनमें दुष्टात्माएँ थीं{ उनका सारा हाल} कह सुनाया। BSB BSB: Those tending the pigs ran off into the town and reported all this, including the account of the demon-possessed men.
34 HGLT और देखो, सारे नगर के लोग यीशु से भेंट करने को निकल आए। और उसे देखकर, उन्होंने उससे विनती की कि वह उनके क्षेत्र से चला जाए। BSB BSB: Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
