1. 1HGLTतो फिर यहूदी का क्या फायदा{ है}, या खतने का क्या लाभ{ है}?BSBBSB: What, then, is the advantage of being a Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision?
2. 2HGLTहर तरह से महान्! क्योंकि सचमुच सबसे पहले तो यह, कि परमेश्वर की बातें उनको सौंपी गईं।BSBBSB: Much in every way. First of all, they have been entrusted with the very words of God.
3. 3HGLTक्योंकि यदि कुछ लोग विश्वासघाती थे तो क्या हुआ? उनके विश्वासघाती होने से परमेश्वर की विश्वासयोग्यता व्यर्थ नहीं ठहरेगी, क्या वह ठहरेगी?BSBBSB: What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness?
4. 4HGLTऐसा कभी न हो! इसके बजाय, परमेश्वर सच्चा, परन्तु प्रत्येक मनुष्य झूठा ठहरे। जैसे कि यह लिखा है,“जिससे कि तू अपने शब्दों में धर्मी ठहरे और जब तेरा न्याय हो तो तू प्रबल होगा।”BSBBSB: Certainly not! Let God be true and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that You may be proved right when You speak and victorious when You judge.”

That God is unjust to inflict His wrath on us? I am speaking in human terms.
6. 6HGLTऐसा कभी न हो! अन्यथा, परमेश्वर जगत का न्याय कैसे करेगा?BSBBSB: Certainly not! In that case, how could God judge the world?
7. 7HGLTपरन्तु यदि मेरे झूठ के द्वारा परमेश्वर की सच्चाई उसकी महिमा के लिये बढ़ती है, तो भी एक पापी के रूप में मेरा न्याय क्यों किया जा रहा है?BSBBSB: However, if my falsehood accentuates God’s truthfulness, to the increase of His glory, why am I still condemned as a sinner?
8. 8HGLTऔर न ही(जैसे हमारी निन्दा की जाती है और जैसे कुछ लोग हमारे ऐसा कहने की पुष्टि करते हैं)“आओ हम बुरे काम करें, ताकि अच्छी बातें सामने आएँ”?— जिसका निर्णय न्यायसंगत है।BSBBSB: Why not say, as some slanderously claim that we say, “Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is deserved!
9. 9HGLTतो फिर क्या? क्या हम बेहतर हैं? बिलकुल नहीं। क्योंकि हम यहूदियों और यूनानियों दोनों पर, उन सब पर, पाप के अधीन होने का दोष लगा चुके हैं।BSBBSB: What then? Are we any better? Not at all. For we have already made the charge that Jews and Greeks alike are all under sin.

12. 12HGLTवे सब दूर हो गए हैं। वे एक साथ बेकार हो गए हैं। कोई ऐसा नहीं जो भलाई करता हो— एक भी ऐसा नहीं है।”BSBBSB: All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.”
13. 13HGLT“उनका गला खुली हुई कब्र{ है}। वे अपनी जीभों से लगातार छल करते रहते हैं। साँपों का विष उनके होठों के नीचे रहता{ है}।”BSBBSB: “Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.” “The venom of vipers is on their lips.”
14. 14HGLT“जिनके मुँह श्राप और कड़वाहट से भरे हैं।”BSBBSB: “Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness.”
15. 15HGLT“उनके पाँव लहू उंडेलने को फुर्तीले{ हैं}।BSBBSB: “Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16. 16HGLTउनके मार्गों में नाश और क्लेश{ हैं}।BSBBSB: ruin and misery lie in their wake,
17. 17HGLTऔर वे शान्ति का मार्ग नहीं जानते।”BSBBSB: and the way of peace they have not known.”
18. 18HGLT“उनकी आँखों के सामने परमेश्वर का भय नहीं है।”BSBBSB: “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
19. 19HGLTअब हम जानते हैं कि जितनी बातें व्यवस्था कहती है, वह उन्हीं से कहती है जो व्यवस्था के साथ हैं, ताकि प्रत्येक मुँह बन्द किया जाए और सारा जगत परमेश्वर के प्रति उत्तरदायी हो जाएBSBBSB: Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be silenced and the whole world held accountable to God.
20. 20HGLTक्योंकि व्यवस्था के कामों के द्वारा कोई प्राणी उसके सामने धर्मी नहीं ठहरेगा; क्योंकि व्यवस्था के माध्यम से ही पाप के प्रति पूर्ण जागरुकता आती{ है}।BSBBSB: Therefore no one will be justified in His sight by works of the law. For the law merely brings awareness of sin.
21. 21HGLTपरन्तु अब, व्यवस्था से अलग, परमेश्वर की धार्मिकता प्रकट की गई है, जिसकी गवाही व्यवस्था और भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के द्वारा दी गई है;BSBBSB: But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets.
22. 22HGLTपरन्तु परमेश्वर की वह धार्मिकता यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास करने से सब विश्वास करनेवालों के लिये{ है}, क्योंकि इसमें कोई भेद नहीं है।BSBBSB: And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction,
23. 23HGLTक्योंकि सबने पाप किया है और परमेश्वर की महिमा से रहित हैं,BSBBSB: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
24. 24HGLTऔर उसके अनुग्रह के द्वारा उस छुटकारे के माध्यम से जो मसीह यीशु में{ है}, सेंत- मेंत में धर्मी ठहराए गए हैं।BSBBSB: and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
25. 25HGLTजिसे परमेश्वर ने उसके लहू में विश्वास के द्वारा प्रायश्चित्त{ करके} अपनी धार्मिकता प्रकट की, कि उन पापों को जो पहले हुए थेBSBBSB: God presented Him as an atoning sacrifice in His blood through faith, in order to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had passed over the sins committed beforehand.
26. 26HGLTपरमेश्वर की सहनशीलता में, इस वर्तमान समय में उसकी धार्मिकता के प्रदर्शन के लिये, ताकि वह न्यायसंगत हो सके और उस व्यक्ति का न्याय करे जो यीशु पर विश्वास करने से{ है}।BSBBSB: He did this to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and to justify the one who has faith in Jesus.
27. 27HGLTतो फिर घमण्ड करना कहाँ रहा? उसे तो निकाल दिया गया है। किस प्रकार की व्यवस्था के माध्यम से? कर्मों की? नहीं! परन्तु विश्वास की व्यवस्था के माध्यम से।BSBBSB: Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle? On that of works? No, but on that of faith.
28. 28HGLTक्योंकि हम व्यवस्था के कामों से अलग विश्वास से मनुष्य को धर्मी मानते हैं।BSBBSB: For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the law.
29. 29HGLTऔर{ क्या वह} केवल यहूदियों का ही परमेश्वर है?{ क्या वह} अन्यजातियों का भी नहीं है? हाँ, अन्यजातियों का भी है,BSBBSB: Is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too,
30. 30HGLTयदि, सचमुच, परमेश्वर एक ही{ है}, तो वह खतनावालों को विश्वास के द्वारा और खतनारहितों को भी{ उसी} विश्वास के माध्यम से धर्मी ठहराएगा।BSBBSB: since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.
31. 31HGLTतब क्या हम व्यवस्था को{ उसी} विश्वास के माध्यम से व्यर्थ ठहराते हैं? ऐसा कभी न हो! इसके बजाय, हम व्यवस्था को बनाए रखते हैं।BSBBSB: Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Certainly not! Instead, we uphold the law.
