Jesus said, “I am He.” And Judas His betrayer was standing there with them.

Since that disciple was known to the high priest, he also went with Jesus into the courtyard of the high priest.

And Peter was also standing with them, warming himself.

So they asked him, “Aren’t you also one of His disciples?” He denied it and said, “I am not.”

27 HGST तब पतरस ने फिर से इन्कार कर दिया{ कि वह यीशु के साथ था}।{ उसके ऐसा करने के बाद} तत्काल एक मुर्गे ने बाँग दी। BSB BSB: Peter denied it once more, and immediately a rooster crowed.

By now it was early morning, and the Jews did not enter the Praetorium, to avoid being defiled and unable to eat the Passover.

31 HGST इसलिए पिलातुस उनसे बोला,“तुम स्वयं ही उसे ले जाओ और अपनी व्यवस्था के द्वारा उसका न्याय करो।” यहूदी अगुवों ने प्रतिउत्तर दिया,“हम उसे मृत्युदंड देना चाहते हैं, परन्तु तेरा रोमी कानून हमें ऐसा करने से रोकता है।” BSB BSB: “You take Him and judge Him by your own law,” Pilate told them. “We are not permitted to execute anyone,” the Jews replied.
32 HGST (ऐसा इसलिए घटित हुआ जिससे कि जो यीशु ने कहा था वह पूरा हो कि वह शीघ्र ही कैसे मरेगा।) BSB BSB: This was to fulfill the word that Jesus had spoken to indicate the kind of death He was going to die.
34 HGST यीशु ने प्रतिउत्तर दिया,“क्या तू यह प्रश्न मुझ से इसलिए पूछ रहा है क्योंकि तू स्वयं से ऐसा सोचता है, या दूसरों ने तुझ से मेरे विषय में ऐसा कहा है?” BSB BSB: “Are you saying this on your own,” Jesus asked, “or did others tell you about Me?”
35 HGST पिलातुस ने प्रतिउत्तर दिया,“मैं कोई यहूदी नहीं हूँ! तेरे ही देशवासी और शासकीय याजक तुझे मेरे पास लेकर आए हैं। तूने क्या गलत किया है?” BSB BSB: “Am I a Jew?” Pilate replied. “Your own people and chief priests handed You over to me. What have You done?”
37 HGST तब पिलातुस ने उससे पूछा,“तो तू एक राजा है?” यीशु ने प्रतिउत्तर दिया,“तू स्वयं ही ऐसा कहता है। मैं इस संसार में इसीलिए जन्मा: और मैं इसलिए आया ताकि लोगों को वह बताऊँ जो परमेश्वर के बारे में सत्य है। हर एक जन जो उस पर विश्वास करता है जो परमेश्वर के बारे में सत्य है वह जो मैं कहता हूँ उसे स्वीकार करता है और उसका पालन भी करता है।” BSB BSB: “Then You are a king!” Pilate said. “You say that I am a king,” Jesus answered. “For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to My voice.”

And having said this, he went out again to the Jews and told them, “I find no basis for a charge against Him.

So then, do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?”
