So the LORD made David victorious wherever he went.
7 IEV दाऊद सैनिकों ने हदादेजेर की सेना के अधिकारियों की सोने की ढालों को ला कर यरूशलेम में रखा। BSB BSB: And David took the gold shields that belonged to the officers of Hadadezer and brought them to Jerusalem.

9 IEV जब अराम में हमात शहर के राजा तोऊ ने सुना, कि दाऊद की सेना ने राजा हदादेजेर की सारी सेना को हरा दिया, BSB BSB: When King Tou of Hamath heard that David had defeated the entire army of Hadadezer king of Zobah,

13 IEV तब दाऊद ने एदोम में वहाँ अपने सैनिकों की चौकियाँ बना दीं, और एदोम के लोगों को दाऊद के अधीन होने के लिए विवश होना पड़ा। BSB BSB: He placed garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites were subject to David. So the LORD made David victorious wherever he went.
14 IEV दाऊद ने सब इस्राएली लोगों पर शासन किया, और उसने उनके लिए सदा वही किया जो कि उचित और निष्पक्ष था। BSB BSB: Thus David reigned over all Israel and administered justice and righteousness for all his people:
15 IEV सरूयाह का पुत्र योआब मुख्य सेनापति था। अहीलूद का पुत्र यहोशापात इतिहास लिखने वाला था। BSB BSB: Joab son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud was the recorder;
16 IEV अहीतूब का पुत्र सादोक और एब्यातार का पुत्र अबीमेलेक प्रधान याजक थे। शबशा मंत्री हुआ। BSB BSB: Zadok son of Ahitub and Ahimelech son of Abiathar were priests; Shavsha was the scribe;
17 IEV यहोयादा के पुत्र बनायाह करेतियों और पलेतियों पर जो दाऊद के अंगरक्षक थे प्रधान हुआ। और दाऊद के पुत्र उनके सबसे महत्वपूर्ण अधिकारी थे। BSB BSB: Benaiah son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief officials at the king’s side.
