10. 10IEVउन्होंने उत्तर दिया,“तुझको उन्हें यह बताना चाहिए:‘मेरी छोटी उँगली मेरे पिता की कमर से मोटी है।BSBBSB: The young men who had grown up with him replied, “This is how you should answer these people who said to you, ‘Your father made our yoke heavy, but you must make it lighter.’ This is what you should tell them: ‘My little finger is thicker than my father’s waist!
11. 11IEVमेरा अर्थ यह है कि मेरे पिता ने तुमको कठोर परिश्रम करने की आज्ञा दी थी, परन्तु मैं उस बोझ को और भी भारी कर दूँगा। ऐसा होगा कि मेरे पिता ने तुम्हें कोड़ों से मारा था, परन्तु मैं तुमको बिच्छुओं से डसवाऊँगा।’”BSBBSB: Whereas my father burdened you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke. Whereas my father scourged you with whips, I will scourge you with scorpions.’”
12. 12IEVतब तीन दिन बाद, यारोबाम और सभी अगुवे फिर से रहबाम के पास आए।BSBBSB: After three days, Jeroboam and all the people returned to Rehoboam, since the king had said, “Come back to me on the third day.”
13. 13IEVराजा ने बुजुर्गों की सलाह को अनदेखा किया और इस्राएलियों के अगुओं से कठोर बातें की।BSBBSB: And the king answered the people harshly. He rejected the advice of the elders

Whereas my father scourged you with whips, I will scourge you with scorpions.”
15. 15IEVतब राजा ने इस्राएलियों के अगुओं पर कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया। अब यह सब यहोवा की इच्छानुसार हुआ, उन्होंने भविष्यद्वक्ता अहिय्याह को यारोबाम के दस गोत्रों के राजा बनने के विषय बताया था।BSBBSB: So the king did not listen to the people, and indeed this turn of events was from the LORD, to fulfill the word He had spoken to Jeroboam son of Nebat through Ahijah the Shilonite.

To your tents, O Israel! Look now to your own house, O David!” So the Israelites went home,

And King Rehoboam mounted his chariot in haste and escaped to Jerusalem.

Only the tribe of Judah followed the house of David.
21. 21IEVजब रहबाम यरूशलेम पहुँचा, तो उसने यहूदा और बिन्यामीन के गोत्रों के 1, 80, 000 सैनिकों को एकत्रित किया। वह चाहता था कि वे इस्राएल के उत्तरी गोत्रों के विरुद्ध लड़ें और उन्हें पराजित करें कि वह अपने राज्य के सभी गोत्रों पर फिर से शासन कर सके।BSBBSB: And when Rehoboam arrived in Jerusalem, he mobilized the whole house of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin—180,000 chosen warriors—to fight against the house of Israel and restore the kingdom to Rehoboam son of Solomon.

Each of you must return home, for this is My doing.’” So they listened to the word of the LORD and turned back according to the word of the LORD.

And from there he went out and built Penuel.

Here, O Israel, are your gods, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.”
28. 29IEVउसने अपने कर्मचारियों को मूर्तियों में से एक को दक्षिण में बेतेल शहर में और एक उत्तर में दान के शहर में रखने के लिए कहा।BSBBSB: One calf he set up in Bethel, and the other in Dan.

32. 33IEVयारोबाम आठवें महीने के उस दिन में उस वेदी पर गया, जिसे उसने स्वयं चुना था। उस वेदी पर उसने धूप बलि चढ़ाई। और उसने घोषित किया कि लोगों को हर वर्ष यही पर्व मनाना चाहिए।BSBBSB: On the fifteenth day of the eighth month, a month of his own choosing, Jeroboam offered sacrifices on the altar he had set up in Bethel. So he ordained a feast for the Israelites, offered sacrifices on the altar, and burned incense.
