Exodus 40 (IEV)

1तब यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा,Then the LORD said to Moses,

2अगले वर्ष पहले महीने के पहले दिन इस पवित्र- तम्बू को खड़ा करने का आदेश इस्राएलियों को दे।“On the first day of the first month you are to set up the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting.

3इसके भीतर पवित्र सन्दूक रखना जिसमें दस आज्ञाओं की पट्टियाँ है और उसके सामने पर्दा लगा देना।Put the ark of the Testimony in it and screen off the ark with the veil.

4पवित्र- तम्बू में मेज रख कर उस पर वे सब वस्तुएँ रखना जो उसके लिए बनाई गई हैं। तब दीपदान ला कर उसमें दीपक लगाना।Then bring in the table and set out its arrangement; bring in the lampstand as well, and set up its lamps.

5पवित्र- तम्बू के सामने धूप जलाने की सोने की वेदी रखना और पवित्र- तम्बू के प्रवेश द्वार पर पर्दे लगाना।Place the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the Testimony, and hang the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

6पवित्र- तम्बू के सामने होम- बलि की वेदी रखना।Place the altar of burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting.

7पानी की हौदी को पवित्र- तम्बू और वेदी के बीच रखना और उसे पानी से भर देना।And place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it.

8आँगन के चारों ओर पर्दे लगाना और आँगन के प्रवेश द्वार पर भी पर्दे लगाना।Set up the surrounding courtyard and hang the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard.

9तब अभिषेक का तेल ले कर पवित्र- तम्बू और उसके भीतर सब वस्तुओं का अभिषेक करके उन सबको मेरे लिए समर्पित करना। तब वे सब विशेष रूप से केवल मेरे लिए रहेंगी।Take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything in it; consecrate it along with all its furnishings, and it shall be holy.

10कुछ तेल उस वेदी पर भी डालना जिस पर याजक मुझे चढ़ाई गई बलियों को जलाएगा। उस वेदी पर कार्य में आने वाले सब उपकरणों पर भी तेल डालना कि वे मेरे लिए समर्पित की जाएँ। तब वे केवल मेरे लिए अलग होकर समर्पित रहेगी।Anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils; consecrate the altar, and it shall be most holy.

11कुछ तेल हौदी और उसके आधार पर डालना कि वे मेरे लिए समर्पित रहे।Anoint the basin and its stand and consecrate them.

12तब हारून और उसके पुत्रों को पवित्र- तम्बू के द्वार पर लाना और पानी से उनको स्नान करवाना।Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water.

13तब हारून को याजकीय वस्त्र पहना कर उस पर तेल डाल कर उसे मेरे लिए समर्पित करना। उसके साथ ऐसा करना कि वह मेरे सामने आने वाला याजक होकर मेरी सेवा करे।And you are to clothe Aaron with the holy garments, anoint him, and consecrate him, so that he may serve Me as a priest.

14हारून के पुत्रों को भी उनके विशेष वस्त्र पहनाना;Bring his sons forward and clothe them with tunics.

15उनके ऊपर भी उनके पिता के समान तेल डालना। ऐसा करना क्योंकि वे भी याजक होकर मेरी आराधना करेंगे। उन पर तेल डाल कर तू उन्हें और उनकी आने वाली पीढ़ियों को याजक ठहराएगा।Anoint them just as you anointed their father, so that they may also serve Me as priests. Their anointing will qualify them for a permanent priesthood throughout their generations.”

16मूसा और उसके साथ कार्य करने वालों ने यह सब कार्य ठीक वैसा ही किया जैसा यहोवा ने मूसा को आदेश दिया था।Moses did everything just as the LORD had commanded him.

17अगले वर्ष के पहले महीने के पहले दिन, एक वर्ष बाद जब इस्राएली मिस्र से निकले थे, उन्होंने पवित्र- तम्बू खड़ा किया।So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month of the second year.

18उन्होंने वही किया जो मूसा ने उनसे कहा था। उन्होंने पवित्र- तम्बू को उसके आधार पर खड़ा किया, उन्होंने चौखटे खड़ी कि और उनमें आड़ी डण्डियाँ लगाई और पर्दों के खम्भे खड़े किए।When Moses set up the tabernacle, he laid its bases, positioned its frames, inserted its crossbars, and set up its posts.

19तब उन्होंने पवित्र- तम्बू पर आवरण डाला, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे यहोवा ने मूसा को आदेश दिए थे।Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering over the tent, just as the LORD had commanded him.

20तब मूसा ने दस आज्ञाओं वाले पत्थर की पट्टियों को पवित्र सन्दूक में रखा और उसके छल्लों में बल्लियाँ डाल कर उस पर ढक्कन रखवाया।Moses took the Testimony and placed it in the ark, attaching the poles to the ark; and he set the mercy seat atop the ark.

21तब मूसा उस पवित्र सन्दूक को पवित्र- तम्बू के पवित्रस्थान में ले गया और पर्दा डलवा दिया कि बाहर खड़े हुए लोग पवित्र सन्दूक को न देख पाएँ। उन्होंने ठीक वैसे ही किया जैसे यहोवा ने आदेश दिया था।Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle, put up the veil for the screen, and shielded off the ark of the Testimony, just as the LORD had commanded him.

22उसने कारीगरों से वह मेज पवित्र- तम्बू के भीतर उत्तरी दिशा में पर्दे के बाहर रखवाई।Moses placed the table in the Tent of Meeting on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil.

23मेज पर उन्होंने भेंट की रोटियाँ यहोवा के सम्मुख रखवाईं, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे यहोवा ने उनको आदेश दिया था।He arranged the bread on it before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.

24मूसा के कारीगरों ने पवित्र- तम्बू के भीतर दक्षिण दिशा में दीपदान रखा जो मेज के दूसरी ओर था।He also placed the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle

25तब उन्होंने दीपदान में दीपक लगाए कि यहोवा की उपस्थिति में हो जैसा यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा था।and set up the lamps before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.

26मूसा के कारीगरों ने धूप जलाने की सोने की वेदी को पवित्र- तम्बू के भीतर परम पवित्रस्थान को पवित्रस्थान से अलग करने वाले पर्दे के सामने रखा।Moses placed the gold altar in the Tent of Meeting, in front of the veil,

27उस वेदी पर उन्होंने मनमोहक सुगन्ध की धूप जलाई, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे यहोवा ने मूसा को आज्ञा दी थी।and he burned fragrant incense on it, just as the LORD had commanded him.

28मूसा के कारीगरों ने पवित्र- तम्बू के द्वार पर पर्दे लगाए।Then he put up the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.

29पवित्र- तम्बू के प्रवेश द्वार पर होम- बलि की वेदी रखी गई। जहाँ याजक होम- बलि चढ़ाएगा। और उस पर उन्होंने भेंट चढ़ाया हुआ माँस और आटा जलाया, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे यहोवा ने मूसा से कहा था।He placed the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, just as the LORD had commanded him.

30तब उन्होंने पीतल की हौदी को पवित्र- तम्बू और वेदी के बीच रखा और पानी से भर दिया।He placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing;

31मूसा, हारून और हारून के पुत्र पवित्र- तम्बू में या वेदी के निकट जाते थे तब वे अपने हाथ और पैर धोते थे, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे यहोवा ने मूसा के माध्यम से निर्देश दिए थे।and from it Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and feet.

33मूसा के कारीगरों ने आँगन के पर्दे टाँगे और आँगन के प्रवेश द्वार पर भी पर्दे टाँगे। इस प्रकार मूसा ने सम्पूर्ण कार्य सम्पन्न करवाया।And Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar, and he hung the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard. So Moses finished the work.

34तब बादल के खम्भे ने पवित्र- तम्बू को ढाँक दिया और यहोवा की शक्ति और तेज पवित्र- तम्बू में भर गया।Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

35अब क्योंकि तेज बहुत तीव्र था इसलिए मूसा पवित्र- तम्बू में प्रवेश नहीं कर पाया।Moses was unable to enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

36उस दिन से जब भी इस्राएलियों को चलना होता था, वे केवल तब ही चलते थे जब बादल पवित्र- तम्बू के आगे बढ़ता था।Whenever the cloud was lifted from above the tabernacle, the Israelites would set out through all the stages of their journey.

37यदि बादल रुका रहता तो वे भी रुके रहते थे।If the cloud was not lifted, they would not set out until the day it was taken up.

38वे जब भी यात्रा करते थे, यहोवा की उपस्थिति का बादल दिन के समय पवित्र- तम्बू पर छाया करता था और रात में तेज आग उस पर ठहरी रहती थी। जब तक वे प्रतिज्ञा के देश की ओर यात्रा करते रहे तब तक इस्राएली उसे देख सकते थे।For the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel through all their journeys.
