4 IEV वहाँ उन्होंने यह निर्णय लिया कि वे कैसे चालाकी से यीशु को बन्दी बनाएँ कि वे उन्हें मार डालें। BSB BSB: and they conspired to arrest Jesus covertly and kill Him.
5 IEV परन्तु उन्होंने कहा,“हमें फसह के पर्व के समय ऐसा नहीं करना चाहिए, क्योंकि यदि हम ऐसा करते हैं, तो लोग उपद्रव कर सकते हैं।” BSB BSB: “But not during the feast,” they said, “or there may be a riot among the people.”

12 IEV जब उसने मेरे शरीर पर यह इत्र डाला, तो ऐसा लगता था कि जैसे वह जानती थी कि मैं शीघ्र ही मर जाऊँगा। और यह ऐसा है जैसे उसने मेरे शरीर को दफनाने के लिए अभिषेक किया है। BSB BSB: By pouring this perfume on Me, she has prepared My body for burial.
13 IEV मैं तुमसे कहता हूँ: पूरे विश्व में जहाँ भी लोग मेरे विषय में सुसमाचार सुनाएँगे, वे इस स्त्री के इस कार्य की चर्चा करेंगे जो इस स्त्री ने किया है, और इस प्रकार लोग सदा उसे स्मरण करेंगे।” BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached in all the world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.”

17 IEV अख़मीरी रोटी के सप्ताह भर के पर्व के पहले दिन, शिष्य यीशु के पास गए और पूछा,“आप कहाँ चाहते हैं कि हम आपके लिए फसह के पर्व के भोजन को तैयार करें कि आप उसे खा सकें?” BSB BSB: On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”

20 IEV जब वह शाम आई, तो यीशु बारह शिष्यों के साथ भोजन करने बैठे। BSB BSB: When evening came, Jesus was reclining with the twelve disciples.
21 IEV उन्होंने उनसे कहा,“तुम में से एक मुझे पकड़वाने में मेरे शत्रुओं की सहायता करने जा रहा है।” BSB BSB: And while they were eating, He said to them, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray Me.”
22 IEV शिष्य बहुत उदास हुए। वे एक के बाद एक उनसे कहने लगे,“हे प्रभु, निश्चय ही वह मैं नहीं!” BSB BSB: They were deeply grieved and began to ask Him one after another, “Surely not I, Lord?”

For it is written: ‘I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’

33 IEV पतरस ने उत्तर दिया,“हो सकता है अन्य सब शिष्य जो आपके साथ होता है उसे देख कर आपको छोड़ दे, परन्तु मैं निश्चय ही आपको कभी नहीं छोड़ूँगा!” BSB BSB: Peter said to Him, “Even if all fall away on account of You, I never will.”
34 IEV यीशु ने उसे उत्तर दिया,“सच यह है कि आज की रात, मुर्गे के बाँग देने से पहले, तू तीन बार कहेगा कि तू मुझे नहीं जानता!” BSB BSB: “Truly I tell you,” Jesus declared, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.”
35 IEV “पतरस ने उससे कहा,” जब मैं आपका बचाव करता हूँ, उस समय यदि वे मुझे मार भी डालेंगे, तो भी मैं कभी नहीं कहूँगा कि मैं आपको नहीं जानता।” बाकी सब शिष्यों ने भी यही कहा। BSB BSB: Peter replied, “Even if I have to die with You, I will never deny You.” And all the other disciples said the same thing.
36 IEV तब यीशु शिष्यों के साथ गतसमनी नाम के एक स्थान पर गए। वहाँ उन्होंने उनसे कहा,“यहाँ बैठे रहना जब तक कि मैं वहाँ जा कर प्रार्थना कर रहा हूँ।” BSB BSB: Then Jesus went with His disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and He told them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”
37 IEV उन्होंने अपने साथ पतरस, याकूब और यूहन्ना को ले लिया। वह उदास और व्याकुल हो गए। BSB BSB: He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee and began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed.

BSB BSB: Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.”
40 IEV तब वह तीनों शिष्यों के पास लौट गए और देखा कि वे सो रहे थे। उन्होंने पतरस को जगाया और कहा,“ऐसा क्यों है की तुम तीनों मेरे साथ एक घंटे के लिए भी जाग नहीं सके? BSB BSB: Then Jesus returned to the disciples and found them sleeping. “Were you not able to keep watch with Me for one hour?” He asked Peter.
41 IEV तुम्हें सचेत रहना और प्रार्थना करना चाहिए जिससे कि तुम उनका विरोध कर सको जो तुम्हें पाप कराने की परीक्षा में डालने का प्रयास करे। जो मैं तुमसे कहता हूँ तुम वह करना तो चाहते हो, परन्तु तुम वास्तव में ऐसा करने के लिए दृढ़ता में पूर्ण नहीं हो।” BSB BSB: “Watch and pray so that you will not enter into temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak.”
42 IEV वह दूसरी बार चले गए। उन्होंने प्रार्थना की,“हे मेरे पिता, यदि कोई और विकल्प नहीं और मुझे यह कटोरा पीना है तो आपकी इच्छा पूरी हो!” BSB BSB: A second time He went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cup cannot pass unless I drink it, may Your will be done.”
43 IEV जब वह तीनों शिष्यों के पास लौट आए, तो उन्होंने देखा कि वे फिर से सो रहे थे। वे अपनी आँखें खुली नहीं रख सकते थे। BSB BSB: And again Jesus returned and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.

45 IEV तब वह शिष्यों के पास गए। उन्होंने उन्हें जगाया और उनसे कहा,“तुम अभी भी सो रहे हो और विश्राम कर रहे हो! देखो! मुझ मनुष्य के पुत्र को पापियों के हाथ पकड़वाने का समय आ गया है!” BSB BSB: Then He returned to the disciples and said, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Look, the hour is near, and the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.
46 IEV उठो, चलें; देखो, मेरा पकड़वाने वाला निकट आ पहुँचा है।” BSB BSB: Rise, let us go! See, My betrayer is approaching!”
48 IEV यहूदा ने पहले उन्हें संकेत देने की व्यवस्था की थी। उसने उनसे कहा था,“जिस व्यक्ति का मैं चुम्बन लूँगा वही वह है जिसे तुम चाहते हो। उसे बन्दी बना लेना!” BSB BSB: Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The One I kiss is the man; arrest Him.”
49 IEV वह तुरन्त यीशु के पास गया और कहा,“नमस्कार, रब्बी!” फिर उसने यीशु को चूमा। BSB BSB: Going directly to Jesus, he said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.
50 IEV यीशु ने उत्तर दिया,“मित्र, तू जो करने के लिए आया है, उसे कर।” तब जो लोग यहूदा के साथ आए थे, उन्होंने आगे बढ़कर यीशु को पकड़ लिया। BSB BSB: “Friend,” Jesus replied, “do what you came for.” Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus, and arrested Him.
53 IEV तुम क्या सोचते हो कि यदि में अपने पिता से कहूँ, तो क्या वह मेरी सहायता करने के लिए तुरन्त स्वर्गदूतों की बारह सेना से अधिक नहीं भेजेंगे? BSB BSB: Are you not aware that I can call on My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
54 IEV परन्तु पवित्रशास्त्र की वे बातें कि ऐसा ही होना अवश्य है, कैसे पूरी होंगी?” BSB BSB: But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen this way?”
55 IEV उस समय यीशु ने उन लोगों से कहा, जो उन्हें पकड़ रहे थे,“तुम यहाँ तलवारों और डण्डों के साथ मुझे पकड़ने आए हो, जैसे कि मैं एक डाकू हूँ; लगभग हर दिन मैं आराधनालय के आँगन में बैठा हुआ, लोगों को सिखाता रहा। तब तुमने मुझे क्यों नहीं बन्दी बनाया? BSB BSB: At that time Jesus said to the crowd, “Have you come out with swords and clubs to arrest Me as you would an outlaw? Every day I sat teaching in the temple courts, and you did not arrest Me.
56 IEV परन्तु यह सब भविष्यद्वक्ताओं द्वारा मेरे विषय में पवित्रशास्त्र में लिखी बातों को पूरा करने के लिए हो रहा है।” तब शिष्य यीशु को छोड़ कर भाग गए। BSB BSB: But this has all happened so that the writings of the prophets would be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples deserted Him and fled.
58 IEV पतरस ने दूर रह कर यीशु का पीछा किया। वह महायाजक के आँगन में आया। वह आँगन में घुस गया और सुरक्षाकर्मियों के साथ बैठ गया कि देखें क्या होगा। BSB BSB: But Peter followed Him at a distance, right up to the courtyard of the high priest. And he went in and sat down with the guards to see the outcome.
59 IEV प्रधान याजकों और यहूदी परिषद उन लोगों को ढूँढ़ने का प्रयास कर रही थी जो यीशु के विषय में झूठी गवाही दें जिससे कि वे उन्हें मृत्यु की दण्ड दे सकें। BSB BSB: Now the chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were seeking false testimony against Jesus in order to put Him to death.
60 IEV कई लोगों ने उनके विषय में झूठी गवाहियाँ दीं परन्तु उन्हें कोई ऐसा नहीं मिला जिसने कुछ भी ऐसा कहा हो जो उपयोगी था। अन्त में दो मनुष्य आगे आए BSB BSB: But they did not find any, though many false witnesses came forward. Finally two came forward
61 IEV और कहा,‘इस व्यक्ति ने कहा,‘मैं परमेश्वर के आराधनालय को नष्ट करने और तीन दिनों के भीतर इसे फिर से बनाने में सक्षम हूँ।’ BSB BSB: and declared, “This man said, ‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and rebuild it in three days.’”
62 IEV तब महायाजक ने खड़े होकर यीशु से कहा,“तू कोई उत्तर क्यों नहीं दे रहा है? तुझ पर जो आरोप लगाया जा रहा है उसके विषय में तू कुछ क्यों नहीं कहता है?” BSB BSB: So the high priest stood up and asked Him, “Have You no answer? What are these men testifying against You?”
63 IEV परन्तु यीशु चुप रहे। तब महायाजक ने उनसे कहा, मैं तुझको सच्चाई बताने का आदेश देता हूँ; तुझे पता है कि जीविते परमेश्वर तेरी बात सुन रहे हैं: क्या तू मसीह, परमेश्वर का पुत्र हैं? BSB BSB: But Jesus remained silent. Then the high priest said to Him, “I charge You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God.”
64 IEV “यीशु ने उत्तर दिया,” हाँ, यह ऐसा है जैसा तूने कहा है। परन्तु मैं तुम सबसे यह कहूँगा: कुछ दिनों में तुम मनुष्य के पुत्र को सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वर के दाहिनी ओर बैठे और शासन करते देखोगे। तुम उसे स्वर्ग से बादलों पर आते हुए भी देखोगे।” BSB BSB: “You have said it yourself,” Jesus answered. “But I say to all of you, from now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

BSB BSB: At this, the high priest tore his clothes and declared, “He has blasphemed! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy.
66 IEV तुम क्या सोचते हो?” यहूदी अगुओं ने उत्तर दिया,“हमारी व्यवस्था के अनुसार, वह दोषी हैं और मृत्यु दण्ड के योग्य हैं।” BSB BSB: What do you think?” “He deserves to die,” they answered.

69 IEV पतरस बाहर आँगन में बैठा था। एक दासी लड़की उसके पास आई और उसने उसे देखा। उसने कहा,“तू भी, गलील जिले के उस मनुष्य, यीशु के साथ था!” BSB BSB: Meanwhile, Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, and a servant girl came up to him. “You also were with Jesus the Galilean,” she said.
70 IEV जब वहाँ उपस्थित सब जन सुन रहे थे, तो उसने इस बात का इन्कार कर दिया। उसने कहा,“मैं नहीं जानता कि तू किस विषय में बात कर रही है!” BSB BSB: But he denied it before them all: “I do not know what you are talking about.”
71 IEV तब वह आँगन के द्वार के बाहर चला गया। वहाँ एक और दासी ने उसे देखा और उन लोगों से कहा जो पास खड़े थे,“यह व्यक्ति भी उस यीशु के साथ था, जो नासरत से है।” BSB BSB: When Peter had gone out to the gateway, another servant girl saw him and said to the people there, “This man was with Jesus of Nazareth.”
72 IEV परन्तु पतरस ने फिर से मना कर दिया। उसने कहा,“यदि मैं झूठ बोल रहा हूँ तो परमेश्वर मुझे दण्ड दें! मैं तुमको बताता हूँ, मैं उस मनुष्य को जानता भी नहीं।” BSB BSB: And again he denied it with an oath: “I do not know the man!”

74 IEV तो पतरस ने जोर दे कर घोषणा की कि यदि वह झूठ बोल रहा था तो परमेश्वर को उसे श्राप देना चाहिए। उसने स्वर्ग के परमेश्वर को गवाह ठहरा कर यह शपथ खाई कि वह सच कह रहा था और कहा,“मैं उस मनुष्य को नहीं जानता!” तुरन्त मुर्गे ने बाँग दी। BSB BSB: At that he began to curse and swear to them, “I do not know the man!” And immediately a rooster crowed.
