You eat but never have enough. You drink but never have your fill. You put on clothes but never get warm. You earn wages to put into a bag pierced through.”

And what you brought home, I blew away. Why? declares the LORD of Hosts. Because My house still lies in ruins, while each of you is busy with his own house.
10 UDB तुम जो कर रहे हो इसी कारण से वर्षा आकाश से नहीं गिरती है, और इसी कारण कोई फसल नहीं होती है। BSB BSB: Therefore, on account of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth has withheld its crops.
11 UDB मैंने खेतों और पहाड़ों दोनों पर और अन्य सभी फसलों पर सूखा पैदा किया है- चाहे अनाज या दाखरस या तेल- सूख गए हैं। इसके कारण, तुम और तुम्हारे मवेशियों के पास पर्याप्त भोजन नहीं है, और तुमने जो कड़ी मेहनत की है वह बेकार हो जाएगी।’” BSB BSB: I have summoned a drought on the fields and on the mountains, on the grain, new wine, and oil, and on whatever the ground yields, on man and beast, and on all the labor of your hands.”

And they came and began the work on the house of the LORD of Hosts, their God,
