You claim that the LORD says, ‘Behold, I am about to deliver this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will capture it.
4 UDB और बाबेल के सैनिक निश्चय ही राजा सिदकिय्याह को पकड़ लेंगे और बाबेल के राजा के सामने ले जाएँगे। BSB BSB: Zedekiah king of Judah will not escape from the hands of the Chaldeans, but he will surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and will speak with him face to face and see him eye to eye.
5 UDB तब उसके सैनिक सिदकिय्याह को बाबेल ले जाएँगे और जब तक मैं उसे दण्ड देने की व्यवस्था नहीं करता तब तक वह वहाँ रहेगा। और यदि वह बाबेल के सैनिकों से युद्ध करने का प्रयास करेगा, तो वह सफल नहीं होगा।” राजा सिदकिय्याह ने यिर्मयाह से पूछा कि वह ऐसा क्यों कहता रहता है, परन्तु यहोवा ने कहा था कि ऐसा ही होगा। BSB BSB: He will take Zedekiah to Babylon, where he will stay until I attend to him, declares the LORD. If you fight against the Chaldeans, you will not succeed.’”
6 UDB उस समय, यहोवा ने यिर्मयाह को एक और सन्देश दिया। उसने कहा, BSB BSB: Jeremiah replied, “The word of the LORD came to me, saying:

Hanamel, the son of your uncle Shallum, is coming to you to say, ‘Buy for yourself my field in Anathoth, for you have the right of redemption to buy it.’

Buy it for yourself.’” Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.

15 UDB ऐसा इसलिए कर क्योंकि मैं यहोवा, जो स्वर्गदूतों की सेना का प्रधान हूँ, वह ईश्वर जिनकी इस्राएली आराधना करते हैं, कहता हूँ: एक दिन लोग फिर से इस देश में सम्पत्ति के स्वामी बनेंगे, और वे घरों और दाख के बागों और खेतों को मोल लेंगे और बेचेंगे।’” BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Houses, fields, and vineyards will again be bought in this land.”

22 UDB आपने हम इस्राएली लोगों को यह देश दिया था जिसे देने की आपने हमारे पूर्वजों से सच्ची प्रतिज्ञा की थी, यह देश जो बहुत उपजाऊ है। BSB BSB: You gave them this land that You had sworn to give their fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey.

They failed to perform all that You commanded them to do, and so You have brought upon them all this disaster.

28 UDB तो, मैं यही कहता हूँ: यह सच है कि मैं इस शहर को जीतने के लिए बाबेल की सेना और राजा नबूकदनेस्सर को सक्षम करूँगा। BSB BSB: Therefore this is what the LORD says: Behold, I am about to deliver this city into the hands of the Chaldeans and of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who will capture it.
29 UDB बाबेल के सैनिक जो अब शहर के चारों ओर की दीवारों के बाहर हैं, इस शहर में प्रवेश करेंगे और इसे जला देंगे। वे उन सब घरों को जला देंगे जहाँ लोगों ने अपने घरों की छतों पर बाल के सम्मान में धूप जलाई और अन्य देवताओं के लिए दाखमधु चढ़ा कर मुझे क्रोधित किया है। BSB BSB: And the Chaldeans who are fighting against this city will come in, set it on fire, and burn it, along with the houses of those who provoked Me to anger by burning incense to Baal on their rooftops and by pouring out drink offerings to other gods.

32 UDB इस्राएल और यहूदा के लोग, जिनमें उनके राजा, उनके अधिकारी, याजक, झूठे भविष्यद्वक्ताओं और यरूशलेम के अन्य सब लोग है उन्होंने कई पाप किए हैं, जिससे मैं क्रोधित हो गया हूँ। BSB BSB: because of all the evil the children of Israel and of Judah have done to provoke Me to anger—they, their kings, their officials, their priests and prophets, the men of Judah, and the residents of Jerusalem.

Though I taught them again and again, they would not listen or respond to discipline.

36 UDB “परन्तु अब मैं इस नगर के विषय में कुछ और कहूँगा। तुम यरूशलेम के लोग कह रहे हो, ‘बाबेल के राजा की सेना इसे तलवारों से या अकाल या बीमारियों के कारण जीत जाएगी।’ परन्तु मैं इस्राएल का परमेश्वर यह कहता हूँ: BSB BSB: Now therefore, about this city of which you say, ‘It will be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by sword and famine and plague,’ this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says:
37 UDB ‘मैं निश्चय ही उन सब देशों से अपने लोगों को वापस लाऊँगा, जिनमें जाने के लिए मैं उन्हें विवश करूँगा क्योंकि मैं उनसे बहुत क्रोधित हूँ। मैं उन्हें वापस इस शहर में लाऊँगा और उन्हें सुरक्षित रूप से यहाँ रहने दूँगा। BSB BSB: I will surely gather My people from all the lands to which I have banished them in My furious anger and great wrath, and I will return them to this place and make them dwell in safety.
38 UDB वे मेरे लोग होंगे, और मैं उनका परमेश्वर ठहरूँगा। BSB BSB: They will be My people, and I will be their God.
39 UDB मैं उन्हें सोचने और व्यवहार करने की एक विधि दूँगा, कि वे अपने और अपने वंश के भले के लिए मेरा सम्मान कर सकें। BSB BSB: I will give them one heart and one way, so that they will always fear Me for their own good and for the good of their children after them.
40 UDB मैं उनके साथ एक वाचा बाँधूँगा जो सदा के लिए होगी: मैं उनकी भलाई करना बन्द नहीं करूँगा और वे सदा मेरा सम्मान करेंगे; वे मेरी आराधना करना कभी बन्द नहीं करेंगे। BSB BSB: I will make an everlasting covenant with them: I will never turn away from doing good to them, and I will put My fear in their hearts, so that they will never turn away from Me.
41 UDB मैं उनकी भलाई करने में प्रसन्न हूँ, और मैं निश्चय ही उन्हें इस देश में लौटने और यहाँ रहने में सक्षम करूँगा; मैं अपने सम्पूर्ण मन और मेरी सारी शक्ति के साथ ऐसा करूँगा।’ BSB BSB: Yes, I will rejoice in doing them good, and I will faithfully plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul.
42 UDB और यह भी है जो मैं, यहोवा, कहता हूँ: ‘मैंने उन्हें इन सब विपत्तियों का सामना करने के लिए प्रेरित किया है। इसी प्रकार, एक दिन मैं उनके लिए वह सब भलाई करूँगा जिसकी मैंने प्रतिज्ञा की है। BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD says: Just as I have brought all this great disaster on this people, so I will bring on them all the good I have promised them.
43 UDB यिर्मयाह तू ने यह खेत मोल ले कर भविष्यद्वाणी की है कि एक दिन लोग इस देश में खेतों को मोल लेंगे और बेचेंगे, जिसके विषय में तुम यरूशलेम के लोग अब कहते हो, “बाबेल के सैनिकों ने इसे नष्ट कर दिया है। अब यह उजाड़ हो गया है। यह एक देश है जहाँ अब एक भी लोग या पशु नहीं हैं।” BSB BSB: And fields will be bought in this land about which you are saying, ‘It is a desolation, without man or beast; it has been delivered into the hands of the Chaldeans.’
44 UDB परन्तु एक दिन लोग फिर से खेतों को मोल लेंगे और बेचेंगे। लोग उन क्षेत्रों को मोल लेने के विषय में दस्तावेजों पर हस्ताक्षर करेंगे, और अन्य लोग उनके ऐसा करने के साक्षी होंगे। उस देश में जहाँ बिन्यामीन के वंशज यरूशलेम के पास के गाँवों में, यहूदा के अन्य नगरों में, पहाड़ी देश में और पश्चिम की तलहटी में और दक्षिणी यहूदिया जंगल में रहते हैं, ऐसा ही होगा। एक दिन मैं उन्हें फिर से समृद्ध कर दूँगा। यह निश्चय ही होगा क्योंकि मैं, यहोवा ने यह कहा है।’” BSB BSB: Fields will be purchased with silver, and deeds will be signed, sealed, and witnessed in the land of Benjamin, in the areas surrounding Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah—the cities of the hill country, the foothills, and the Negev—because I will restore them from captivity, declares the LORD.”
