29 UDB उस समय, इस्राएलियों ने मोआब से लगभग दस हजार लोगों को मार डाला। वे सभी बलवन्त और योग्य पुरुष थे, उनमें से एक भी बच नहीं पाया था। BSB BSB: At that time they struck down about ten thousand Moabites, all robust and valiant men. Not one of them escaped.

31 UDB एहूद की मृत्यु के बाद, शमगर उनका अगुवा बन गया। उसने इस्राएलियों को पलिश्तियों से बचाया। एक युद्ध में उसने छः सौ पलिश्तियों को एक बैल के पैने से मार डाला था। BSB BSB: After Ehud came Shamgar son of Anath. And he too saved Israel, striking down six hundred Philistines with an oxgoad.
