1 UDB यीशु जहाँ बैठे थे, वहाँ से उन्होंने देखा कि धनवान अपनी भेंटें मन्दिर की दान पेटी में डाल रहे हैं। BSB BSB: Then Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury,
2 UDB उन्होंने एक गरीब विधवा को बहुत कम मूल्य के दो छोटे सिक्के डालते देखा। BSB BSB: and He saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins.
3 UDB और उन्होंने अपने शिष्यों से कहा, "सच यह है कि इस गरीब विधवा ने इन सब धनवान लोगों की तुलना में दान पेटी में अधिक धन डाला है। BSB BSB: “Truly I tell you,” He said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others.
4 UDB उन सब के पास बहुत सारा पैसा है, लेकिन उन्होंने उसका एक छोटा हिस्सा दिया। परन्तु इस विधवा ने, जो बहुत गरीब है, उसने वह सब कुछ डाल दिया है जिससे उसे कुछ खरीदने की आवश्यकता थी। BSB BSB: For they all contributed out of their surplus, but she out of her poverty has put in all she had to live on.”
5 UDB यीशु के कुछ शिष्य बात कर रहे थे कि मन्दिर को कैसे सुन्दर पत्थरों से बनाया गया है और लोगों द्वारा दी गई भेंटों से सजाया गया है। परन्तु यीशु ने कहा, BSB BSB: As some of the disciples were remarking how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and consecrated gifts, Jesus said,
7 UDB फिर उन्होंने उससे पूछा, "हे गुरु, ये सब कब होगा? और इसके लिए क्या चिन्ह होगा कि ये बातें होने वाली हैं?" BSB BSB: “Teacher,” they asked, “when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are about to take place?”
8 UDB यीशु ने उत्तर दिया, "सावधान रहो कि कोई तुम्हें धोखा न दे, क्योंकि बहुत से लोग आएँगे और प्रत्येक मेरे नाम का दावा करेंगे। हर एक जन कहेगा, 'मैं मसीह हूँ!' वे यह भी कहेंगे, 'समय आ गया है, जब परमेश्वर राजा के रूप में शासन करेंगे!' तुम उनके पीछे न होना की उनके शिष्य बनो! BSB BSB: Jesus answered, “See to it that you are not deceived. For many will come in My name, claiming, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them.
9 UDB इसके अतिरिक्त, जब तुम युद्धों के और लोगों के एक-दूसरे से लड़ने के बारे में सुनो, तो डरना नहीं। दुनिया के अन्त से पहले इन बातों का होना आवश्यक है।" BSB BSB: When you hear of wars and rebellions, do not be alarmed. These things must happen first, but the end is not imminent.”
10 UDB "लोगों के विभिन्न समूह एक दूसरे पर आक्रमण करेंगे, और विभिन्न राजा एक दूसरे से युद्ध करेंगे। BSB BSB: Then He told them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 UDB और विभिन्न स्थानों में बड़े भूकंप आएँगे, साथ ही साथ अकाल और भयानक रोग होंगे। बहुत सी ऐसी घटनाएँ होंगी जो लोगों को बहुत डराएँगी, और लोग आकाश में विचित्र वस्तुओं को देखेंगे जिससे प्रकट होगा कि कुछ महत्वपूर्ण होने वाला है। BSB BSB: There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences in various places, along with fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
12 UDB लेकिन इन सब बातों से पहले, वे तुम्हें गिरफ्तार करेंगे, तुमसे बुरा व्यवहार करेंगे और मुकद्दमा चलाने के लिए तुम्हें आराधनालयों में सौंपेंगे और तुम्हें बन्दीगृह में डालेंगे। वे राजाओं और उच्च सरकारी अधिकारियों की उपस्थिति में तुम पर मुकदमे चलाएँगे क्योंकि तुम मेरे अनुयाई हो। BSB BSB: But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. On account of My name they will deliver you to the synagogues and prisons, and they will bring you before kings and governors.
13 UDB तब तुम्हें उनको मेरे बारे में सच्चाई बताने का समय होगा। BSB BSB: This will be your opportunity to serve as witnesses.
14 UDB अपने बचाव में तुम क्या कहोगे, समय से पहले इसकी चिन्ता न करने का निश्चय कर लो। BSB BSB: So make up your mind not to worry beforehand how to defend yourselves.
15 UDB क्योंकि मैं तुमको सही शब्द और ज्ञान दूँगा कि तुम जान सको कि क्या कहना है। इसका परिणाम यह होगा कि तुम पर आरोप लगाने वाले लोगों में से कोई भी यह नहीं कह पाएगा कि तुम गलत हो। BSB BSB: For I will give you speech and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.
16 UDB और यहाँ तक कि तुम्हारे माता-पिता, भाई और अन्य सम्बन्धी और दोस्त तुम्हें धोखा देंगे, और वे तुम में से कुछ को मार डालेंगे। BSB BSB: You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you will be put to death.
17 UDB सामान्य तौर पर, सभी लोग तुमसे घृणा करेंगे क्योंकि तुम मुझ पर विश्वास करते हो। BSB BSB: And you will be hated by everyone because of My name.
18 UDB परन्तु तुम्हारे सिर का एक भी बाल नष्ट नहीं होगा। BSB BSB: Yet not even a hair of your head will perish.
19 UDB यदि तुम कठिन समय में परमेश्वर पर अपना भरोसा सिद्ध करते हो, तो तुम स्वयं को बचा लोगे।" BSB BSB: By your patient endurance you will gain your souls.
21 UDB उस समय जो यहूदिया के क्षेत्र में हैं, उन्हें पहाड़ों पर भाग जाना चाहिए। और तुम में से जो इस शहर में हैं, उन्हें भी शहर से निकल जाना चाहिए और जो पास के ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में हों, उन्हें शहर में नहीं आना चाहिए। BSB BSB: Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country stay out of the city.
22 UDB क्योंकि वह समय परमेश्वर के दण्ड का होगा जो; वह इस शहर को देंगे, तब धर्म शास्त्र के वचन सच होंगे। BSB BSB: For these are the days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written.

For there will be great distress upon the land and wrath against this people.
25 UDB "इस समय, सूरज, चँद्रमा और तारों के साथ विचित्र घटनाएँ होंगी और धरती पर, लोगों का समूह बहुत डर जाएगा, और वे समुद्र के गर्जन के कारण और उसकी विशाल तरंगों के कारण घबरा जाएँगे। BSB BSB: There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among the nations, bewildered by the roaring of the sea and the surging of the waves.
26 UDB लोग इतने भयभीत होंगे कि वे मुर्छित हो जाएँगे, क्योंकि वे संसार की आनेवाली घटनाओं की प्रतीक्षा करेंगे। आकाश में तारों को अपना नियत स्थान छोड़ना होगा। BSB BSB: Men will faint from fear and anxiety over what is coming upon the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 UDB तब सब लोग मुझे मनुष्य के पुत्र को बादलों में शक्ति और शानदार प्रकाश के साथ आते हुए देखेंगे। BSB BSB: At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 UDB इसलिए जब ये भयानक घटनाएँ आरम्भ होने लगेंगी, तो सीधे खड़े होकर ऊपर की ओर देखना, क्योंकि परमेश्वर शीघ्र ही तुम्हें बचाएँगे।" BSB BSB: When these things begin to happen, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
29 UDB तब यीशु ने उन्हें एक दृष्टान्त सुनाया: "अंजीर के पेड़ों और अन्य सब पेड़ों के बारे में सोचो। BSB BSB: Then Jesus told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the trees.
30 UDB जब भी तुम देखते हो कि उनके पत्ते अंकुरित हो रहे हैं, तो तुम जानते हो कि गर्मियों का समय निकट है। BSB BSB: When they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.
31 UDB उसी तरह, जब तुम इन घटनाओ को देखो, जिनका वर्णन मैं ने अभी किया है, तो तुम जान लोगे कि परमेश्वर शीघ्र ही स्वयं को राजा के रूप में प्रकट करेंगे। BSB BSB: So also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near.
32 UDB मैं तुमसे सच कह रहा हूँ: मनुष्यों की यह पीढ़ी मेरी इन सब बातों के पूरा होने तक समाप्त नहीं होगी। BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things have happened.
33 UDB आकाश और पृथ्वी का अन्त हो जाएगा, लेकिन जो मैं तुम्हें कहता हूँ उनका अन्त कभी नहीं होगा। BSB BSB: Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
34 UDB स्वयं को वश में रखने के लिए बहुत सावधान रहो। उन उत्सवों में मत जाना जहाँ लोग अनैतिक काम करते हैं या शराब पीकर नशे में हो जाते हैं। और इस जीवन की चिन्ताओं में डूब न जाना। यदि तुम ऐसा जीवन जीओगे, तो तुम मेरे वापस आने की प्रतीक्षा करना बन्द कर दोगे। और फिर, उस पल में, मैं आकर तुम्हें आश्चर्यचकित करूँगा। मेरा आना अकस्मात ही होगा जैसे पशुओं को पकड़ने का फँदा बिना चेतावनी बन्द हो जाता है। BSB BSB: But watch yourselves, or your hearts will be weighed down by dissipation, drunkenness, and the worries of life—and that day will spring upon you suddenly like a snare.
35 UDB सच तो यह है कि मैं बिना चेतावनी के वापस आऊँगा, और वह दिन तब आएगा जब तुम मुझे देखने के लिए तैयार नहीं होगे। BSB BSB: For it will come upon all who dwell on the face of all the earth.
36 UDB तो तुम्हें मेरे आने के लिए सदैव तैयार रहना चाहिए। और सदैव प्रार्थना करना चाहिए कि तुम इन सब संकटों में सुरक्षित रह सको, कि जब मैं, मनुष्य का पुत्र, संसार का न्याय करने आऊँ, तो तुम्हें निर्दोष घोषित कर सकूँ।" BSB BSB: So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen and to stand before the Son of Man.”
37 UDB यीशु मन्दिर में प्रतिदिन लोगों को सिखाते रहते थे। परन्तु शाम को वह नगर से निकलकर जैतून पहाड़ पर रात बिताते थे। BSB BSB: Every day Jesus taught at the temple, but every evening He went out to spend the night on the Mount of Olives.
38 UDB और प्रतिदिन सुबह सब लोग उनसे सुनने के लिए शीघ्र ही मन्दिर में उनके पास आ जाते थे। BSB BSB: And early in the morning all the people would come to hear Him at the temple.
