2 UDB परन्तु यहोवा के दूत ने शैतान से कहा, “शैतान, यहोवा तुझे डाँटें! उन्होंने यरूशलेम को अपना विशेष नगर बनने के लिए चुना है, और वे तुझे डाँटें! यह व्यक्ति, यहोशू, बाबेल से वापस लाया गया है; वह निश्चित रूप से एक ज्वलनशील छड़ी के समान है जिसे किसी ने आग से निकाला हो।” BSB BSB: And the LORD said to Satan: “The LORD rebukes you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you! Is not this man a firebrand snatched from the fire?”
3 UDB अब जब यहोशू स्वर्गदूत के सामने खड़ा था, तो वह गंदे कपड़े पहने हुए था। BSB BSB: Now Joshua was dressed in filthy garments as he stood before the angel.
4 UDB इसलिए स्वर्गदूत ने अन्य स्वर्गदूतों से जो उसके सामने खड़े थे कहा, “जो कपड़े वह पहने हुए है उन्हें उतार लो!” उनके ऐसा करने के बाद, स्वर्गदूत ने यहोशू से कहा, “देखो, मैंने तुम्हारे पापमय अपराधों को दूर कर दिया है, और इसकी अपेक्षा मैं तुमको सुंदर कपड़े पहनाऊँगा।” BSB BSB: So the angel said to those standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes!” Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have removed your iniquity, and I will clothe you with splendid robes.”

6 UDB तब उसी स्वर्गदूत ने यहोशू से यह कहा: BSB BSB: Then the angel of the LORD gave this charge to Joshua:
7 UDB “स्वर्गदूतों की सेना के प्रधान, यहोवा, कहते हैं कि यदि तुम ऐसा करते हो जो मैं चाहता हूँ कि तुम करो और मेरे निर्देशों का पालन करो, तो तुम मेरे भवन और उसके आँगन के प्रभारी होगे। और मैं तुमको इस स्वर्गदूतों के समूह का भाग बनने की अनुमति दूँगा जो हमेशा मेरे पास खड़े रहते हैं और हर समय मुझसे बातें कर सकते हैं। BSB BSB: “This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘If you walk in My ways and keep My instructions, then you will govern My house and will also have charge of My courts; and I will give you a place among these who are standing here.
8 UDB यहोशू, तुम महायाजक हो, और तुम्हारे सहयोगी तुम्हारे सामने बैठे हैं। तथ्य यह भी है कि वे यहाँ हैं इसका यह अर्थ है कि मैं एक विशेष दास लाऊँगा, जिसे मैं शाखा कहूँगा।” BSB BSB: Hear now, O high priest Joshua, you and your companions seated before you, who are indeed a sign. 9 UDB तब यहोवा के स्वर्गदूत ने यहोशू के सामने एक पत्थर रखा और उससे और उसके साथ के अन्य लोगों से कहा: “उस पत्थर को देखो जो मैंने यहोशू के सामने रखा है। इस पत्थर के सात कोने हैं। मैं उस पत्थर पर एक संदेश दूँगा, और एक दिन में मैं इस देश के सभी लोगों के अपराधों को मिटा दूँगा। BSB BSB: See the stone I have set before Joshua; on that one stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave on it an inscription, declares the LORD of Hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day.
10 UDB उस समय, तुम में से प्रत्येक अपने मित्रों को अपनी दाखलताओं के नीचे और अंजीर के पेड़ के नीचे बैठने के लिए आमंत्रित करोगे। यह स्वर्गदूतों की सेना के प्रधान, यहोवा, घोषित करते हैं।” BSB BSB: On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, you will each invite your neighbor to sit under your own vine and fig tree.’”
