1ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಂದ ನಾನೂರ ಎಂಭತ್ತನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ, ಎರಡನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ, ವೈಶಾಖ ಮಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದನು.In the four hundred and eightieth year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, in the month of Ziv, the second month, he began to build the house of the LORD.

2ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಆಲಯದ ಉದ್ದ ಅರುವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ 27 ಮೀಟರ್., ಅಗಲ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ 9 ಮೀಟರ್., ಎತ್ತರ ಮೂವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ 13.5 ಮೀಟರ್..The house that King Solomon built for the LORD was sixty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and thirty cubits high.

3ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಮುಂದುಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮಂಟಪವಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ಉದ್ದ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಅಗಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ 9 ಮೀಟರ್., ಅಗಲ ಹತ್ತು ಮೊಳ 4.5 ಮೀಟರ್.The portico at the front of the main hall of the temple was twenty cubits long, extending across the width of the temple and projecting out ten cubits in front of the temple.

4ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರೆಯಲಾರದ ಜಾಲರಿಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಕಿಟಿಕಿಗಳನ್ನಿರಿಸಿದನು.He also had narrow windows framed high in the temple.

5ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಅಂದರೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳ ಇವುಗಳ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, ಇವುಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಅಂತಸ್ತುಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.Against the walls of the temple and the inner sanctuary, Solomon built a chambered structure around the temple, in which he constructed the side rooms.

6ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳ ಅಗಲವು ಐದು ಮೊಳ. ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಅಂತಸ್ತುಗಳ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳ ಅಗಲವು ಆರು ಮೊಳ. ಎರಡನೆಯ ಅಂತಸ್ತುಗಳ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳ ಅಗಲವು ಏಳು ಮೊಳ. ಅಂತಸ್ತಿನ ತೊಲೆಗಳನ್ನಿಡುವಾಗ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಗೋಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೂತಾಗಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಹೊರಮೈಯನ್ನು ಸೋಪಾನಾಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.The bottom floor was five cubits wide, the middle floor six cubits, and the third floor seven cubits. He also placed offset ledges around the outside of the temple, so that nothing would be inserted into its walls.

7ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟುವ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆ, ಉಳಿ ಮುಂತಾದ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳ ಶಬ್ದವು ಕೇಳಿಸುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.The temple was constructed using finished stones cut at the quarry, so that no hammer or chisel or any other iron tool was heard in the temple while it was being built.

8ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಕೊಠಡಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಆಲಯದ ಬಲಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿತ್ತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಮಧ್ಯದ ಅಂತಸ್ತಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಮೂರನೆಯ ಅಂತಸ್ತಿಗೂ ಹೋಗಲು ಸುರುಳಿಯಾಕಾರದ ಮೆಟ್ಟಲುಗಳಿದ್ದವು.The entrance to the bottom floor was on the south side of the temple. A stairway led up to the middle level, and from there to the third floor.

9ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವನು ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, ದೇವದಾರಿನ ತೊಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹಲಿಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮುಗಿಸಿದನು.So Solomon built the temple and finished it, roofing it with beams and planks of cedar.

10ಅವನು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಒಂದರ ಮೇಲೊಂದು ಐದೈದು ಮೊಳ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಕೊಠಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. ಇವು ದೇವದಾರಿನ ತೊಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದವು.He built chambers all along the temple, each five cubits high and attached to the temple with beams of cedar.

11ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನಿಗೆ ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.Then the word of the LORD came to Solomon, saying:

12<<ನೀನು ಈಗ ಒಂದು ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಿಯಷ್ಟೆ. ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ನಿಯಮ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುವುದಾದರೆ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಾಗ್ದಾನವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸುವೆನು.“As for this temple you are building, if you walk in My statutes, carry out My ordinances, and keep all My commandments by walking in them, I will fulfill through you the promise I made to your father David.

13ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಡದೆ ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಿಸುವೆನು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.And I will dwell among the Israelites and will not abandon My people Israel.”

14ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿದನು.So Solomon built the temple and finished it.

15ಅನಂತರ ಅವನು ಅದರ ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಒಳಮೈಯನ್ನು ನೆಲದಿಂದ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯವರೆಗೆ ದೇವದಾರಿನ ಹಲಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು. ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ತುರಾಯಿ ಮರದ ಹಲಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದನು.He lined the interior walls with cedar paneling from the floor of the temple to the ceiling, and he covered the floor with cypress boards.

16ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ದೇವಾಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನೆಲದಿಂದ ತೊಲೆಗಳವರೆಗೆ ದೇವದಾರಿನ ಹಲಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಅದರ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹ ಅಥವಾ ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದನು.He partitioned off the twenty cubits at the rear of the temple with cedar boards from floor to ceiling to form within the temple an inner sanctuary, the Most Holy Place.

17ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳ ಎನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮುಂದಿನ ಭಾಗವು ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದವಿತ್ತು.And the main hall in front of this room was forty cubits long.

18ದೇವಾಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕಾಣಿಸದಂತೆ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಳ್ಳಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹೂವುಗಳು ಕೆತ್ತಿರುವ ದೇವದಾರಿನ ಹಲಿಗೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.The cedar paneling inside the temple was carved with gourds and open flowers. Everything was cedar; not a stone could be seen.

19ಯೆಹೋವನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ಇಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೇವಾಲಯದೊಳಗೆ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹವೆಂದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿದನು.Solomon also prepared the inner sanctuary within the temple to set the ark of the covenant of the LORD there.

20ಆ ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹವು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದವೂ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಅಗಲವೂ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಎತ್ತರವೂ ಆಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದನ್ನು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಗಡಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ಧೂಪವೇದಿಯನ್ನು ದೇವದಾರು ಮರದಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.The inner sanctuary was twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and twenty cubits high. He overlaid the inside with pure gold, and he also overlaid the altar of cedar.

21ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಒಳಮೈಯನ್ನು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಗಡಿನಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು. ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಗೋಡೆಗೆ ಬಂಗಾರದ ಸರಪಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.So Solomon overlaid the inside of the temple with pure gold, and he extended gold chains across the front of the inner sanctuary, which was overlaid with gold.

22ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗೋಡೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಹಾಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ವೇದಿಯನ್ನೂ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಗಡಿನಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.So he overlaid with gold the whole interior of the temple, until everything was completely finished. He also overlaid with gold the entire altar that belonged to the inner sanctuary.

23ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಎಣ್ಣೇ ಮರದಿಂದ ಹತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಎರಡು ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.In the inner sanctuary he made two cherubim, each ten cubits high, out of olive wood.

24ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕೆರೂಬಿಯ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಐದೈದು ಮೊಳ ಉದ್ದವಿದ್ದವು. ಎರಡು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಅಂತರವು ಒಂದು ತುದಿಯಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ತುದಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತು ಮೊಳಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು.One wing of the first cherub was five cubits long, and the other wing was five cubits long as well. So the full wingspan was ten cubits.

25ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಕೆರೂಬಿಯ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳ ಅಂತರವು ಹತ್ತು ಮೊಳವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಎರಡೂ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳ ಅಳತೆಯೂ ಆಕಾರವೂ ಒಂದೇಯಾಗಿದ್ದವು.The second cherub also measured ten cubits; both cherubim had the same size and shape,

26ಅವೆರಡು ಹತ್ತತ್ತು ಮೊಳ ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿದ್ದವು.and the height of each cherub was ten cubits.

27ಅವನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿಡಿಸಿದನು. ಅವುಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಚಾಚಿದಂತಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಕೆರೂಬಿಯ ಒಂದು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯು ಈಚೆಯ ಗೋಡೆಗೂ, ಎರಡನೆಯ ಕೆರೂಬಿಯ ಒಂದು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯು ಆಚೆಯ ಗೋಡೆಗೂ ತಗುಲಿದ್ದವು. ಅವುಗಳ ಬೇರೆ ಎರಡು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಮನೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನೊಂದು ತಗುಲಿದಂತೆ ಇತ್ತು.And he placed the cherubim inside the innermost room of the temple. Since their wings were spread out, the wing of the first cherub touched one wall, while the wing of the second cherub touched the other wall, and in the middle of the room their wingtips touched.

28ಈ ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳು ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಗಡುಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದವು.He also overlaid the cherubim with gold.

29ಅವನು ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗೋಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಒಳಗೂ ಕೆರೂಬಿ, ಖರ್ಜೂರವೃಕ್ಷ ಮತ್ತು ಹೂವು ಇವುಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿಸಿದನು.Then he carved the walls all around the temple, in both the inner and outer sanctuaries, with carved engravings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers.

30ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಒಳಗಣ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊರಗಣ ನೆಲವನ್ನು ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಗಡುಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊದಿಸಿದನು.And he overlaid the temple floor with gold in both the inner and outer sanctuaries.

31ಗರ್ಭಗೃಹದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಎಣ್ಣೇ ಮರದ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡಿಸಿದನು. ಚೌಕಟ್ಟು ಪಂಚಕೋನಗಳಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿತ್ತು.For the entrance to the inner sanctuary, Solomon constructed doors of olive wood with five-sided doorposts.

32ಎಣ್ಣೇ ಮರದ ಆ ಎರಡು ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆರೂಬಿ, ಖರ್ಜೂರವೃಕ್ಷ ಮತ್ತು ಹೂವು ಇವುಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿಸಿ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಗಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಿ, ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ತಗಡನ್ನು ಇಡಿಸಿದನು.The double doors were made of olive wood, and he carved into them cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers and overlaid the cherubim and palm trees with hammered gold.

33ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಳದ ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಎಣ್ಣೇ ಮರದಿಂದ ಚತುಷ್ಕೋಣದ ಚೌಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿIn the same way he made four-sided doorposts of olive wood for the sanctuary entrance.

34ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತುರಾಯಿಮರದ ಎರಡು ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡಿಸಿದನು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಬಾಗಿಲು ಎರಡು ಭಾಗವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿ ಮಡಿಚಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು.The two doors were made of cypress wood, and each had two folding panels.

35ಈ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆರೂಬಿ, ಖರ್ಜೂರವೃಕ್ಷ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಳಿದ ಹೂವು ಇವುಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆತ್ತಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಗಡನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಿ, ಕೆತ್ತನೆಯಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ತಗಡನ್ನು ಇಡಿಸಿದನು.He carved into them cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, and he overlaid them with gold hammered evenly over the carvings.

36ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಸಾಲು ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಒಂದು ಸಾಲು ದೇವದಾರಿನ ಕಂಬಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.Solomon built the inner courtyard with three rows of dressed stone and one row of trimmed cedar beams.

37ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ವೈಶಾಖ ಮಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಆಲಯದ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದರು.The foundation of the house of the LORD was laid in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign, in the month of Ziv.

38ಹನ್ನೊಂದನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಎಂಟನೆಯ ತಿಂಗಳಾದ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಮಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವಾಲಯವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳೂ ನೇಮದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾದವು. ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಏಳು ವರ್ಷ ಹಿಡಿಯಿತು.In the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, the eighth month, the temple was finished in every detail and according to every specification. So he built the temple in seven years.
