1 ULB ಆಗ ಕಿರ್ಯತ್ಯಾರೀಮಿನವರು ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ, ಗುಡ್ಡದ ಮೇಲೆ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅಬೀನಾದಾಬನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು, ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನನ್ನು ಅದರ ಸೇವೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: Then the men of Kiriath-jearim came for the ark of the LORD and took it into Abinadab’s house on the hill. And they consecrated his son Eleazar to guard the ark of the LORD.
2 ULB ಮಂಜೂಷವು ಕಿರ್ಯಾತ್ಯಾರೀಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳು ಅಂದರೆ, ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಕಳೆದು ಹೋದವು. ಈ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ದುಃಖಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಹಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: And from that day a long time passed, twenty years in all, as the ark remained at Kiriath-jearim. And all the house of Israel mournfully sought the LORD.
3 ULB ಆಗ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಅವರಿಗೆ,<< ನೀವು ಪೂರ್ಣಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದಾದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಷ್ಟೋರೆತ್ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಅನ್ಯದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಟ್ಟು ಆತನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೇ ಸೇವಿಸಿರಿ. ಆಗ ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ಕಾಪಾಡುವನು>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: Then Samuel said to all the house of Israel, “If you are returning to the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the foreign gods and Ashtoreths among you, prepare your hearts for the LORD, and serve Him only. And He will deliver you from the hand of the Philistines.”
4 ULB ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಬಾಳ್ ಅಷ್ಟೋರೆತ್ ದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಯೆಹೋವನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೇ ಆರಾಧಿಸತೊಡಗಿದರು. BSB BSB: So the Israelites put away the Baals and Ashtoreths and served only the LORD.
5 ULB ಸಮುವೇಲನು ತಿರುಗಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ, <<ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಿಚ್ಪೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಬರಲಿ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವೆನು>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: Then Samuel said, “Gather all Israel to Mizpah, and I will pray to the LORD on your behalf.”
6 ULB ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದು, ನೀರು ಸೇದಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೊಯ್ದು, ಆ ದಿನ ಉಪವಾಸವಿದ್ದು, <<ನಾವು ನಿನಗೆ ದ್ರೋಹಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ>> ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಅರಿಕೆಮಾಡಿದರು. ಆನಂತರ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ನ್ಯಾಯಪಾಲಕನಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಮಿಚ್ಪೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: When they had gathered at Mizpah, they drew water and poured it out before the LORD. On that day they fasted, and there they confessed, “We have sinned against the LORD.” And Samuel judged the Israelites at Mizpah.
7 ULB ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ಮಿಚ್ಪೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾದಾಗ ಅವರ ರಾಜರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟರು. ಇದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಸಮುವೇಲನಿಗೆ, BSB BSB: When the Philistines heard that the Israelites had gathered at Mizpah, their rulers marched up toward Israel. And when the Israelites learned of this, they feared the Philistines
8 ULB <<ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನೀನು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡು, ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಬೇಡ>> ಅಂದರು. BSB BSB: and said to Samuel, “Do not stop crying out to the LORD our God for us, that He may save us from the hand of the Philistines.”
9 ULB ಆಗ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಹಾಲುಕುಡಿಯುವ ಕುರಿಮರಿಯನ್ನು ತಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವಾಂಗಹೋಮವಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಲು ಆತನು ಸದುತ್ತರವನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then Samuel took a suckling lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the LORD. He cried out to the LORD on behalf of Israel, and the LORD answered him.
10 ULB ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ, ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಮೀಪಿಸಲಾಗಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಡುಗಿನಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಸೋತು ಓಡಿ ಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: As the Philistines drew near to fight against Israel, Samuel was offering up the burnt offering. But that day the LORD thundered loudly against the Philistines and threw them into such confusion that they fled before Israel.
11 ULB ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಾದರೋ ಮಿಚ್ಪೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಬೇತ್ಕರಿನ ತಗ್ಗಿನವರೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹತಮಾಡಿದರು. BSB BSB: Then the men of Israel charged out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, striking them down all the way to an area below Beth-car.
12 ULB ಅನಂತರ ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಮಿಚ್ಪೆಗೂ ಶೇನಿಗೂ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, <<ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೆ ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಬೆನೆಜೆರ್ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: Afterward, Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the LORD has helped us.”
13 ULB ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದರಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದೊಳಗೆ ಬರಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಸಮುವೇಲನ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಹಸ್ತವು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೇ ಇತ್ತು. BSB BSB: So the Philistines were subdued, and they stopped invading the territory of Israel. And the hand of the LORD was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.
14 ULB ಅವರು ಎಕ್ರೋನ್ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಗತ್ ಊರಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೇ ದೊರಕಿದವು. ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೂ ಅಮೋರಿಯರಿಗೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: The cities from Ekron to Gath, which the Philistines had taken, were restored to Israel, who also delivered the surrounding territory from the hand of the Philistines. And there was peace between the Israelites and the Amorites.
15 ULB ಸಮುವೇಲನು ಜೀವದಿಂದ ಇರುವವರೆಗೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: So Samuel judged Israel all the days of his life.
16 ULB ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷವೂ ಬೇತೇಲ್, ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲ್, ಮಿಚ್ಪೆ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿ ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: Every year he would go on a circuit from Bethel to Gilgal to Mizpah, judging Israel in all these places.
17 ULB ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಮನೆಯಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ವಿವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: Then he would return to Ramah because his home was there, and there he judged Israel and built an altar to the LORD.
