BSB BSB: He stationed troops in every fortified city of Judah and put garrisons in the land of Judah and in the cities of Ephraim that his father Asa had captured.

4 ULB ಇವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಂತೆ ನಡೆಯದೆ, ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ದೇವರ ಭಕ್ತನಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: but he sought the God of his father and walked by His commandments rather than the practices of Israel.
5 ULB ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇವನ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿದನು; ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಇವನ ಧನ ಘನತೆಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದವು. BSB BSB: So the LORD established the kingdom in his hand, and all Judah brought him tribute, so that he had an abundance of riches and honor.
6 ULB ಇವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದು ಧೈರ್ಯಗೊಂಡನು; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪೂಜಾಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಶೇರ ವಿಗ್ರಹ ಸ್ತಂಭಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: And his heart took delight in the ways of the LORD; furthermore, he removed the high places and Asherah poles from Judah.
7 ULB ಇವನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೂರನೆಯ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಬೆನ್ಹೈಲ್, ಓಬದ್ಯ, ಜೆಕರ್ಯ ನೆತನೇಲ್, ಮಿಕಾಯ ಎಂಬ ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶ ಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: In the third year of his reign, Jehoshaphat sent his officials Ben-hail, Obadiah, Zechariah, Nethanel, and Micaiah to teach in the cities of Judah,
8 ULB ಇವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಮಾಯ, ನೆತನ್ಯ, ಜೆಬದ್ಯ, ಅಸಾಹೇಲ್, ಶೆಮೀರಾಮೋತ್, ಯೆಹೋನಾತಾನ್, ಅದೋನೀಯ, ಟೋಬೀಯ, ಟೋಬದೋನೀಯ ಎಂಬ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಇದ್ದರು. ಎಲೀಷಾಮಾ, ಯೆಹೋರಾಮ್, BSB BSB: accompanied by certain Levites—Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah, and Tob-adonijah—along with the priests Elishama and Jehoram.
9 ULB ಇವರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: They taught throughout Judah, taking with them the Book of the Law of the LORD. They went throughout the towns of Judah and taught the people.
10 ULB ಯೆಹೂದದ ಸುತ್ತಣ ದೇಶಗಳ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಯವಿದ್ದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: And the dread of the LORD fell upon all the kingdoms of the lands that surrounded Judah, so that they did not make war against Jehoshaphat.
11 ULB ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಕಪ್ಪವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ತಂದುಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಅರಬಿಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಶುಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ಹಿಂಡುಗಳಿಂದ ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರದ ಏಳು ನೂರು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಏಳು ಸಾವಿರದ ಏಳು ನೂರು ಆಡುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: Some Philistines also brought gifts and silver as tribute to Jehoshaphat, and the Arabs brought him 7,700 rams and 7,700 goats from their flocks.
12 ULB ಹೀಗೆ ಯೆಹೋಷಾಫಾಟನು ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಹೊಂದಿ ಯೆಹೂದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋಟೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಉಗ್ರಾಣದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: Jehoshaphat grew stronger and stronger, and he built fortresses and store cities in Judah
13 ULB ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದವಸಧಾನ್ಯಗಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧವೀರರಾದ ಭಟರೂ ಇದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: and kept vast supplies in the cities of Judah. He also had warriors in Jerusalem who were mighty men of valor.
14 ULB ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗೋತ್ರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿ ಯುದ್ಧವೀರರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಅದ್ನ; BSB BSB: These are their numbers according to the houses of their fathers: From Judah, the commanders of thousands: Adnah the commander, and with him 300,000 mighty men of valor;
15 ULB ಇವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಎರಡು ಲಕ್ಷದ ಎಂಭತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಯುದ್ಧವೀರರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಯೆಹೋಹಾನಾನ್; BSB BSB: next to him, Jehohanan the commander, and with him 280,000;
16 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಎರಡು ಲಕ್ಷ ಮಂದಿ ಯುದ್ಧವೀರರೊಡನೆ ಸ್ವಇಚ್ಛೆಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನನ್ನೇ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಜಿಕ್ರಿಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಮಸ್ಯ; BSB BSB: and next to him, Amasiah son of Zichri, the volunteer for the LORD, and with him 200,000 mighty men of valor.
17 ULB ಬೆನ್ಯಾಮೀನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗುರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡ ಎರಡು ಲಕ್ಷ ಯುದ್ಧವೀರರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಎಲ್ಯಾದ; BSB BSB: From Benjamin: Eliada, a mighty man of valor, and with him 200,000 armed with bows and shields;
18 ULB ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷದ ಎಂಭತ್ತುಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಯುದ್ಧಸನ್ನದ್ಧ ಸೈನಿಕರ ನಾಯಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಜಾಬಾದ್ ಎಂಬುವವರು. BSB BSB: and next to him, Jehozabad, and with him 180,000 armed for battle.
19 ULB ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಈ ಯೋಧರಲ್ಲದೆ, ಕೋಟೆ ಕೊತ್ತಲಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಯೆಹೂದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೈನಿಕರಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: These were the men who served the king, besides those he stationed in the fortified cities throughout Judah.
