1 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಕೈಗೂ ಸೌಲನ ಕೈಗೂ ಸಿಕ್ಕದಂತೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಘನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈ ಜಯ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ರಚಿಸಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಹಾಡಿದನು: BSB BSB: And David sang this song to the LORD on the day the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.
2 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ಬಂಡೆಯೂ, ನನ್ನ ಕೋಟೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ವಿಮೋಚಕನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He said: “The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.
3 ULB ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯಗಿರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರೂ, ನನ್ನ ಗುರಾಣಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕೊಂಬೂ, ನನ್ನ ದುರ್ಗವೂ, ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನೂ, ಹಿಂಸೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation. My stronghold, my refuge, and my Savior, You save me from violence.
4 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಹನು. ನಾನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಲು ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.
5 ULB ಮರಣ ಪ್ರವಾಹದ ಅಲ್ಲಕಲ್ಲೋಲಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡವು. ನಾಶಪ್ರವಾಹವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಿತು. BSB BSB: For the waves of death engulfed me; the torrents of chaos overwhelmed me.
6 ULB ಪಾತಾಳಪಾಶಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಆವರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವು, ಮರಣಕರವಾದ ಉರುಲುಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡವು. BSB BSB: The cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me.
7 ULB ಅಂಥ ಕಷ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟೆನು. ನನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದೆನು. ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಆತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತು. BSB BSB: In my distress I called upon the LORD; I cried out to my God. And from His temple He heard my voice, and my cry for help reached His ears.
8 ULB ಆಗ ಆತನ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕಂಪಿಸಿತು. ಆಕಾಶದ ಆಧಾರಗಳು ನಡುಗಿ ಕದಲಿದವು. BSB BSB: Then the earth shook and quaked; the foundations of the heavens trembled; they were shaken because He burned with anger.
9 ULB ಆತನ ಮೂಗಿನಿಂದ ಹೊಗೆಯು ಬಂದಿತು. ಆತನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಅಗ್ನಿಜ್ವಾಲೆಯು ಹೊರಟು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ದಹಿಸಿ ಕೆಂಡವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿತು. BSB BSB: Smoke rose from His nostrils, and consuming fire came from His mouth; glowing coals blazed forth.
10 ULB ಆತನು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದನು. ಆತನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: He parted the heavens and came down with dark clouds beneath His feet.
11 ULB ಕೆರೂಬಿವಾಹನನಾಗಿ ಹಾರಿದನು. ವಾಯುವೇ ಆತನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಇಳಿದು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದನು. BSB BSB: He mounted a cherub and flew; He soared on the wings of the wind.
12 ULB ಕತ್ತಲನ್ನೂ, ಜಲಮಯವಾಗಿರುವ ನೀಲಮೇಘಗಳನ್ನೂ, ತನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಗುಡಾರದಂತೆ ಕವಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: He made darkness a canopy around Him, a gathering of water and thick clouds.
13 ULB ಆತನ ಸಾನ್ನಿಧ್ಯ ಪ್ರಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಉರಿಗೆಂಡಗಳು ಹೊರಟವು. BSB BSB: From the brightness of His presence coals of fire blazed forth.
14 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ಗುಡುಗಿದನು. ಪರಾತ್ಪರನಾದ ದೇವರು ಧ್ವನಿಗೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.
15 ULB ಆತನು ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನೆಸೆದು ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಸಿಡಿಲಿನಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: He shot His arrows and scattered the foes; He hurled lightning and routed them.
16 ULB ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಗದರಿಕೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಆತನ ಶ್ವಾಸಭರದಿಂದಲೂ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ತಳವು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಅಸ್ಥಿವಾರವು ತೋರಿಬಂದವು. BSB BSB: The channels of the sea appeared, and the foundations of the world were exposed at the rebuke of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of His nostrils.
17 ULB ಆತನು ಮೇಲಣಲೋಕದಿಂದ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು! ಮಹಾಜಲರಾಶಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಳೆದನು. BSB BSB: He reached down from on high and took hold of me; He drew me out of deep waters.
18 ULB ನನಗಿಂತ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರೂ, ಪುಷ್ಠರೂ ಆಗಿ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from foes too mighty for me.
19 ULB ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಆಪತ್ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಉದ್ಧಾರಕನಾದನು. BSB BSB: They confronted me in my day of calamity, but the LORD was my support.
20 ULB ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಪಾಯದಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದನು. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: He brought me out into the open; He rescued me because He delighted in me.
21 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಡತೆಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ನೀಡಿದನು. ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳ ಶುದ್ಧತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness; He has repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands.
22 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನೇ ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದೆನಲ್ಲಾ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದ್ರೋಹ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: For I have kept the ways of the LORD and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23 ULB ನಾನು ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ನನ್ನೆದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡೆನು. ಆತನ ವಿಧಿಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿ ಹೋಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: For all His ordinances are before me; I have not disregarded His statutes.
24 ULB ನಾನು ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯು. ಪಾಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳದಂತೆ ಜಾಗರೂಕತೆಯಿಂದ ನಡೆದುಕೊಂಡೆನು. BSB BSB: And I have been blameless before Him and kept myself from iniquity.
25 ULB ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ನೀತಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆಯೂ, ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ನಿರಪರಾಧಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆಯೂ ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: So the LORD has repaid me according to my righteousness, according to my cleanness in His sight.
26 ULB ನೀನು ಕೃಪೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಿಗೆ ಕೃಪಾವಂತನೂ, ದೋಷವಿಲ್ಲದವರಿಗೆ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯೂ. BSB BSB: To the faithful You show Yourself faithful, to the blameless You show Yourself blameless;
27 ULB ಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನೂ, ವಕ್ರಬುದ್ಧಿಯವನಿಗೆ ವಕ್ರನೂ ಆಗಿರುವಿ. BSB BSB: to the pure You show Yourself pure, but to the crooked You show Yourself shrewd.
28 ULB ದೀನರನ್ನು ಉದ್ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಿ. ಹಮ್ಮಿನವರನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿದು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಬಿಡುತ್ತಿ. BSB BSB: You save an afflicted people, but Your eyes are on the haughty to bring them down.
29 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೀಪವು ನೀನೇ. ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನ ಕತ್ತಲನ್ನು ಪರಿಹರಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: For You, O LORD, are my lamp; the LORD lights up my darkness.
30 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ನಾನು ದಂಡಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವೆನು. ನನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾಕಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾರುವೆನು. BSB BSB: For in You I can charge an army; with my God I can scale a wall.
31 ULB ದೇವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವು ಯಾವ ದೋಷವೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ್ದು ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಚನವು ಶುದ್ಧವಾದದ್ದು. ಆತನು ಆಶ್ರಿತರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಗುರಾಣಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.
32 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಯಾರು? ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಹೊರತು ಶರಣನು ಎಲ್ಲಿ? BSB BSB: For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God?
33 ULB ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೋಟೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸರಾಗಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: God is my strong fortress, and He makes my way clear.
34 ULB ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲನ್ನು ಜಿಂಕೆಯ ಕಾಲಿನಂತೆ ಚುರುಕು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ BSB BSB: He makes my feet like those of a deer and stations me upon the heights.
35 ULB ಆತನು ನನಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ವಿದ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ತಾಮ್ರದ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನಾದರೂ ಉಪಯೋಗಿಸಬಲ್ಲೆನು. BSB BSB: He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
36 ULB ನೀನು ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಗುರಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ್ದೀ. ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃಪಾಕಟಾಕ್ಷವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಸಿದೆ. BSB BSB: You have given me Your shield of salvation, and Your gentleness exalts me.
37 ULB ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಶಾಲ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಕದಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: You broaden the path beneath me so that my ankles do not give way.
38 ULB ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಸಂಹರಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವರನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವವರೆಗೂ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: I pursued my enemies and destroyed them; I did not turn back until they were consumed.
39 ULB ಅವರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ನಾಮಗೊಳಿಸುವೆನು, ಹೊಡೆದು ಏಳಲಾರದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಪಾದದ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬೀಳುವರು. BSB BSB: I devoured and crushed them so they could not rise; they have fallen under my feet.
40 ULB ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಶೌರ್ಯವೆಂಬ ನಡುಕಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಬಿಗಿದಿದ್ದಿ. ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ನನಗೆ ಅಧೀನಮಾಡಿದ್ದಿ. BSB BSB: You have armed me with strength for battle; You have subdued my foes beneath me.
41 ULB ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗೊಟ್ಟು ಓಡಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ. ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವೆನು. BSB BSB: You have made my enemies retreat before me; I destroyed those who hated me.
42 ULB ಅವರು ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡರೂ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವವನಿಲ್ಲ. ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟರೂ ಆತನು ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: They looked, but there was no one to save them—to the LORD, but He did not answer.
43 ULB ಭೂಮಿಯ ಧೂಳನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪುಡಿಪುಡಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು. ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕೆಸರನ್ನೋ ಎಂಬಂತೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ತುಳಿದು ಎಸೆದುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು. BSB BSB: I ground them as the dust of the earth; I crushed and trampled them like mud in the streets.
44 ULB ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ಕಲಹಗಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಿ. ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ದೊರೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿದ್ದಿ. ನಾನರಿಯದ ಜನಾಂಗದವರು ಸಹ ನನಗೆ ಅಧೀನರಾಗುವರು. BSB BSB: You have delivered me from the strife of my people; You have preserved me as the head of nations; a people I had not known shall serve me.
45 ULB ದೇಶಾಂತರದವರು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಮುದುರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ನನ್ನ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾಗುವರು. BSB BSB: Foreigners cower before me; when they hear me, they obey me.
46 ULB ಅವರು ಧೈರ್ಯಗುಂದಿದವರಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೋಟೆಗಳಿಂದ ನಡುಗುತ್ತಾ ಬರುವರು. BSB BSB: Foreigners lose heart and come trembling from their strongholds.
47 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಚೈತನ್ಯಸ್ವರೂಪನು. ನನ್ನ ಶರಣನಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ. ನನ್ನ ಆಶ್ರಯಗಿರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಂಡಾಟ. BSB BSB: The LORD lives, and blessed be my Rock! And may God, the Rock of my salvation, be exalted—
48 ULB ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿದಂಡನೆಮಾಡುವ ದೇವರು. ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಅಧೀನಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: the God who avenges me and brings down nations beneath me,
49 ULB ಶತ್ರುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವಾತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಎದುರಾಳಿಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಉನ್ನತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿ. ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿ. BSB BSB: who frees me from my enemies. You exalt me above my foes; You rescue me from violent men.
50 ULB ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ನಾಮವನ್ನು ಸಂಕೀರ್ತಿಸುವೆನು. BSB BSB: Therefore I will praise You, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to Your name.
51 ULB ಆತನು ತಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಅರಸನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ವಿಶೇಷ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ತಾನು ಅಭಿಷೇಕಿಸಿದ ದಾವೀದನಿಗೂ, ಅವನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಸದಾಕಾಲವೂ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Great salvation He brings to His king. He shows loving devotion to His anointed, to David and his descendants forever.”
