1 ULB ಅನ್ಯಜನರು ಸಹ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದರೆಂಬ ಸಮಾಚಾರವನ್ನು ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲರೂ ಯೂದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಕೇಳಿದರು. BSB BSB: The apostles and brothers throughout Judea soon heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.
2 ULB ಪೇತ್ರನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು; BSB BSB: So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers took issue with him
3 ULB <<ನೀನು ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಊಟಮಾಡಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ>> ಎಂದು ಅವನ ಕೂಡ ವಾದಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: and said, “You visited uncircumcised men and ate with them.”
4 ULB ಪೇತ್ರನು ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲಿಂದ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿ, BSB BSB: But Peter began and explained to them the whole sequence of events:
5 ULB ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ; <<ನಾನು ಯೊಪ್ಪ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಧ್ಯಾನಪರವಶನಾಗಿದ್ದ ನನಗೆ ಒಂದು ದರ್ಶನವಾಯಿತು>> ಅದೇನಂದರೆ, ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮೂಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜೋಳಿಗೆಯಂತಿರುವ ಒಂದು ವಸ್ತುವು ನಾನಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಇಳಿದು ಬಂದಿತು. BSB BSB: “I was in the city of Joppa praying, and in a trance I saw a vision of something like a large sheet being let down from heaven by its four corners, and it came right down to me.
6 ULB ಅದೇನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳು, ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಳು, ಹರಿದಾಡುವ ಕ್ರಿಮಿಕೀಟಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅಂತರಿಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾರಾಡುವ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡೆನು. BSB BSB: I looked at it closely and saw four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, reptiles, and birds of the air.
7 ULB ಆಗ; <<ಪೇತ್ರನೇ, ಎದ್ದು, ಕೊಯ್ದು ತಿನ್ನು>> ಎಂದು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳುವ ವಾಣಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು. BSB BSB: Then I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Get up, Peter, kill and eat.’
8 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು; <<ಬೇಡವೇ ಬೇಡ, ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಹೊಲೆಯಾದ ಪದಾರ್ಥವಾಗಲಿ, ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಪದಾರ್ಥವಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದೂ ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯೊಳಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ>> ಅಂದೆನು. BSB BSB: ‘No, Lord,’ I said, ‘for nothing impure or unclean has ever entered my mouth.’
9 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ; <<ದೇವರು ಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀನು ಹೊಲೆ ಎನ್ನಬಾರದು>> ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಎರಡನೆಯ ಸಾರಿಯೂ ಆಕಾಶದಿಂದ ವಾಣಿಯಾಯಿತು. BSB BSB: But the voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’
10 ULB ಹೀಗೆ ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ಆಯಿತು. ಅನಂತರ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ತಿರುಗಿ ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು. BSB BSB: This happened three times, and everything was drawn back up into heaven.
11 ULB ಆ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೂವರು ಪುರುಷರು ನಾವಿದ್ದ ಮನೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಕೈಸರೈಯದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರು. BSB BSB: Just then three men sent to me from Caesarea stopped at the house where I was staying.
12 ULB ದೇವರಾತ್ಮನು, ನನಗೆ ನೀನು ಏನೂ ಬೇಧಮಾಡದೆ ಅವರ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಈ ಆರು ಮಂದಿ ಸಹೋದರರು ಸಹ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದರು. BSB BSB: The Spirit told me to accompany them without hesitation. These six brothers also went with me, and we entered the man’s home.
14 ULB ಅವನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವನು, ಆ ಸಂದೇಶದಿಂದ ನಿನಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗುವದು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನೆಂಬುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: He will convey to you a message by which you and all your household will be saved.’
15 ULB ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮವು ಮೊದಲು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿದಂತೆ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇಳಿಯಿತು. BSB BSB: As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, just as He had fallen upon us at the beginning.
16 ULB ಆಗ; <<ಯೋಹಾನನಾದರೋ ನೀರಿನಿಂದ ದೀಕ್ಷಾಸ್ನಾನಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು; ನಿಮಗಾದರೋ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ನಾನವಾಗುವುದು>> ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿತು. BSB BSB: Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’
17 ULB ದೇವರು ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿರುವ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟ ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ವರಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ವರವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿರಲಾಗಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಶಕ್ತನೋ? ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: So if God gave them the same gift He gave us who believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to hinder the work of God?”
18 ULB ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರು ಕೇಳಿ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪಣೆ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು; <<ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ದೇವರು ಅನ್ಯಜನರಿಗೂ ಜೀವಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ>> ಎಂದು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದರು. BSB BSB: When they heard this, they had no further objections, and they glorified God, saying, “So then, God has granted even the Gentiles repentance unto life.”
19 ULB ಸ್ತೆಫನನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಾದ ಹಿಂಸೆಯಿಂದ ಚದರಿಹೋದವರು ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗಲ್ಲದೇ ಮತ್ತಾರಿಗೂ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳದೆ ಫೊಯಿನೀಕೆ, ಕುಪ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಂತಿಯೋಕ್ಯ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳವರೆಗೂ ಸಂಚರಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: Meanwhile those scattered by the persecution that began with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message only to Jews.
21 ULB ಕರ್ತನ ಹಸ್ತವು ಅವರೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಬಹು ಜನರು ನಂಬಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: The hand of the Lord was with them, and a great number of people believed and turned to the Lord.
22 ULB ಇವರ ವಿಷಯವಾದ ವರ್ತಮಾನವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸಭೆಯವರ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಅವರು ಬಾರ್ನಬನನ್ನು ಅಂತಿಯೋಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: When news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, they sent Barnabas to Antioch.
23 ULB ಅವನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನೂ, ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಭರಿತನೂ, ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದನು. BSB BSB: When he arrived and saw the grace of God, he rejoiced and encouraged them all to abide in the Lord with all their hearts.
24 ULB ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ದೇವರ ಕೃಪಾಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು, ನೀವು ಪೂರ್ಣಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆಗ ಬಹುಮಂದಿ ಕರ್ತನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: Barnabas was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord.
25 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಬಾರ್ನಬನು ಸೌಲನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ತಾರ್ಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ಅಂತಿಯೋಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು. BSB BSB: Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,
26 ULB ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಒಂದು ವರ್ಷ ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಭೆಯವರೊಂದಿಗಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಹು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉಪದೇಶಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅಂತಿಯೋಕ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಥಮಬಾರಿಗೆ ‘ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತರು’ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಬಂದದ್ದು. BSB BSB: and when he found him, he brought him back to Antioch. So for a full year they met together with the church and taught large numbers of people. The disciples were first called Christians at Antioch.
27 ULB ಅ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಅಂತಿಯೋಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು. BSB BSB: In those days some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.
28 ULB ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗಬನೆಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಎದ್ದು ಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆಲ್ಲಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕ್ಷಾಮ ಬರುವುದು ಎಂದು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ನ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದನು. ಅದು ಕ್ಲೌದ್ಯ ಚಕ್ರವರ್ತಿಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. BSB BSB: One of them named Agabus stood up and predicted through the Spirit that a great famine would sweep across the whole world. (This happened under Claudius.)
29 ULB ಆಗ ಆ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಯೂದಾಯ ಸೀಮೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತ್ಯಾನುಸಾರ ಧನಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಮಾನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. BSB BSB: So the disciples, each according to his ability, decided to send relief to the brothers living in Judea.
30 ULB ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಬಾರ್ನಬನ ಮತ್ತು ಸೌಲರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಸಭೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: This they did, sending their gifts to the elders with Barnabas and Saul.
