3 ULB ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದ ಬಹು ಜನಾಂಗದವರು, <<ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಪರ್ವತಕ್ಕೆ, ಯಾಕೋಬ್ಯರ ದೇವರ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗೋಣ, ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಮಗೆ ಬೋಧನೆ ಮಾಡುವನು. ನಾವು ಆತನ ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವೆವು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವರು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಚೀಯೋನಿನಿಂದ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ವಾಕ್ಯವೂ ಹೊರಡುವುದು. BSB BSB: And many peoples will come and say: “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us His ways so that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
4 ULB ಆತನು ದೇಶದೇಶಗಳ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವನು, ಬಹು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವನು; ಅವರೋ ತಮ್ಮ ಆಯುಧಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಲುಮೆಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ, ಕತ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೇಗಿಲ ಗುಳಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಬರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಡುಗೋಲುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡುವರು. ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಜನಾಂಗವು ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೆತ್ತದು. ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಾಭ್ಯಾಸವು ನಡೆಯುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Then He will judge between the nations and arbitrate for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will no longer take up the sword against nation, nor train anymore for war.
5 ULB ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ವಂಶದವರೇ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯೋಣ. BSB BSB: Come, O house of Jacob, let us walk in the light of the LORD.
6 ULB ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರು ಪೂರ್ವದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂತ್ರತಂತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗ್ನರೂ, ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಣಿ ಹೇಳುವವರೂ, ಅನ್ಯದೇಶಗಳವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡುವವರೂ ಆಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಈ ನಿನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ. BSB BSB: For You have abandoned Your people, the house of Jacob, because they are filled with influences from the east; they are soothsayers like the Philistines; they strike hands with the children of foreigners.
7 ULB ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. ಅವರ ನಿಧಿನಿಕ್ಷೇಪಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಿತಿಯಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ಅಶ್ವಬಲದಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. ಅವರ ರಥಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಿತಿಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Their land is full of silver and gold, with no limit to their treasures; their land is full of horses, with no limit to their chariots.
8 ULB ಅವರ ದೇಶವು ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೇ, ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆರಳುಗಳಿಂದಲೇ ಮಾಡಿದ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: Their land is full of idols; they bow down to the work of their hands, to what their fingers have made.
9 ULB ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಜನರು ಅಧರ್ಮಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ, ಉತ್ತಮರಾಗಲಿ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವರು, ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗುವನು. ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಬೇಡ. BSB BSB: So mankind is brought low, and man is humbled—do not forgive them!
10 ULB ಗವಿಯೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗು, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಯಂಕರತನಕ್ಕೂ, ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೂ ಹೆದರಿ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಿತುಕೋ. BSB BSB: Go into the rocks and hide in the dust from the terror of the LORD and the splendor of His majesty.
11 ULB ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಗರ್ವದೃಷ್ಟಿಯು ತಗ್ಗಿಹೋಗುವುದು, ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಅಹಂಕಾರವು ತಗ್ಗುವುದು. ಯೆಹೋವನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತನಾಗಿರುವನು. BSB BSB: The proud look of man will be humbled, and the loftiness of men brought low; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day.
12 ULB ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನ್ಯಾಯನಿರ್ಣಯದ ದಿನವು ಗರ್ವದಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವುದು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವನು. BSB BSB: For the Day of the LORD of Hosts will come against all the proud and lofty, against all that is exalted—it will be humbled—
13 ULB ಎತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವದಾರು ವೃಕ್ಷಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಲ್ಲೋನ ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, BSB BSB: against all the cedars of Lebanon, lofty and lifted up, against all the oaks of Bashan,

16 ULB ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ತಾರ್ಷೀಷ್ ನ ಹಡಗುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ಅಂತೂ ನೋಡತಕ್ಕ ಮನೋಹರವಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ವಸ್ತುವಿನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಆ ದಿನವೂ ತಪ್ಪದೇ ಬರುವುದು. BSB BSB: against every ship of Tarshish, and against every stately vessel.
17 ULB ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಗರ್ವವು ಕುಗ್ಗುವುದು. ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಅಹಂಕಾರವು ತಗ್ಗುವುದು. ಯೆಹೋವನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತೋನ್ನತನಾಗಿರುವನು. BSB BSB: So the pride of man will be brought low, and the loftiness of men will be humbled; the LORD alone will be exalted in that day,
18 ULB ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಾಶವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವವು. BSB BSB: and the idols will vanish completely.
19 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಭೂಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಲು ಏಳುವಾಗ, ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಆತನ ಭಯಂಕರ ಕೋಪಕ್ಕೂ, ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೂ ಹೆದರಿ ಬಂಡೆಗಳ ಗವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ನೆಲದ ಹಳ್ಳಕೊಳ್ಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. BSB BSB: Men will flee to caves in the rocks and holes in the ground, away from the terror of the LORD and from the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to shake the earth.
20 ULB ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೂಜೆಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಬೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಬಂಗಾರದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಇಲಿ, ಬಾವಲಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಬಿಸಾಡಿ ಬಿಡುವರು. BSB BSB: In that day men will cast away to the moles and bats their idols of silver and gold—the idols they made to worship.
21 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಭೂಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ನಡುಗಿಸಲು ಏಳುವಾಗ, ಆತನ ಭಯಂಕರಕ್ಕೂ, ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಮಹಿಮೆಗೂ ಹೆದರಿ ಬಂಡೆಗಳ ಸಂದುಗೊಂದುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಚೂಪಾದ ಶಿಖರಗಳ ಕಡಿದಾದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೂ ನುಗ್ಗುವರು. BSB BSB: They will flee to caverns in the rocks and crevices in the cliffs, away from the terror of the LORD and from the splendor of His majesty, when He rises to shake the earth.
22 ULB ಮೂಗಿನಿಂದ ಉಸಿರಾಡುವ ತನಕ ಬದುಕುವ ನರಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮೇಲಿನ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಡಿರಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಯಾವ ಲೆಕ್ಕಕ್ಕೂ ಸಮಾನನಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Put no more trust in man, who has only the breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he?
