1 ULB ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿ ಅಶ್ವಬಲವನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವವರ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ! ರಥಗಳು ಬಹಳವೆಂದು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟು, ಸವಾರರು ಬಹು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರೆಂದು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಭರವಸವಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸದಮಲಸ್ವಾಮಿಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಯೆಹೋವನನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, who rely on horses, who trust in their abundance of chariots and in their multitude of horsemen. They do not look to the Holy One of Israel; they do not seek the LORD.
2 ULB ಇಗೋ, ಆತನು ವಿವೇಕಿ, ತನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತೆಗೆಯದೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವನು. ಕೆಡುಕರ ಮನೆತನಕ್ಕೂ, ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಾರರ ಸಹಾಯಕರಿಗೂ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಏಳುವನು. BSB BSB: Yet He too is wise and brings disaster; He does not call back His words. He will rise up against the house of the wicked and against the allies of evildoers.
3 ULB ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರು ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಮಾತ್ರದವರೇ, ದೇವರಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಅಶ್ವಗಳು ಆತ್ಮವಲ್ಲ, ಮಾಂಸಮಯವಾದವುಗಳು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈ ಚಾಚುವಾಗ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದವನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಪಡೆದವನು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗುವನು. ಅಂತೂ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಲಯವಾಗುವರು. 4 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ, <<ಸಿಂಹವು, ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಸಿಂಹವು, ಬೇಟೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಗುರುಗುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರನ ಕೂಗನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ಕುರುಬರ ಗುಂಪು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದರೂ ಅದು ಅವರ ಕೂಗಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆದರದೆ, ಅವರ ಗದ್ದಲದಿಂದ ಹೇಗೆ ಧೈರ್ಯಗುಂದುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದ ಶಿಖರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿಯುವನು. BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD has said to me: “Like a lion roaring or a young lion over its prey—and though a band of shepherds is called out against it, it is not terrified by their shouting or subdued by their clamor—so the LORD of Hosts will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and its heights.
5 ULB ಹಾರುವ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತೆ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವನು. ಅದನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಕಾಯುವನು ಮತ್ತು ಹಾದುಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಅಪಾಯದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: Like birds hovering overhead, so the LORD of Hosts will protect Jerusalem. He will shield it and deliver it; He will pass over it and preserve it.”
6 ULB <<ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೇ, ನೀವು ಯಾರಿಗೆ ಅಗಾಧ ದ್ರೋಹವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದಿರೋ ಆತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. BSB BSB: Return to the One against whom you have so blatantly rebelled, O children of Israel.
7 ULB ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ರೂಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪಾಪದ ಗುರುತಾದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಮತ್ತು ಬಂಗಾರದ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನೂ ಬಿಸಾಡುವನು. BSB BSB: For on that day, every one of you will reject the idols of silver and gold that your own hands have sinfully made.

9 ULB ಅವರು ಭಯದಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಹೆದರಿ ಧ್ವಜಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ದಿಕ್ಕಾಪಾಲಾಗುವರು>> ಚೀಯೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಲುಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಯೆಹೋವನ ನುಡಿ ಇದೇ. BSB BSB: Their rock will pass away for fear, and their princes will panic at the sight of the battle standard,” declares the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, whose furnace is in Jerusalem.
