4 ULB ಯೆಹೂದದವರೇ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದ ಮುಂದೊಗಲನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ, ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಸುನ್ನತಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನನ್ನ ರೋಷವು ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯಂತೆ ಹೊರಟು, ಯಾರೂ ಆರಿಸಲಾಗದಷ್ಟು ರಭಸವಾಗಿ ಧಗಧಗಿಸುವುದು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and remove the foreskins of your hearts, O men of Judah and people of Jerusalem. Otherwise, My wrath will break out like fire and burn with no one to extinguish it, because of your evil deeds.”
5 ULB ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರಿರಿ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತಾ, <<ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಂಬೂದಿರಿ, ಕೂಡಿಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಕೋಟೆಕೊತ್ತಲಗಳ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರೋಣ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿರಿ. BSB BSB: Announce in Judah, proclaim in Jerusalem, and say: “Blow the ram’s horn throughout the land. Cry aloud and say, ‘Assemble yourselves and let us flee to the fortified cities.’

10 ULB ಆಗ ನಾನು, <<ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವನೇ, ನೀನು ಈ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ, <ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗುವುದು> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಇವರನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದಿ; ಖಡ್ಗವು ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೂ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತದಲ್ಲಾ>> ಅಂದೆನು. BSB BSB: Then I said, “Ah, Lord GOD, how completely You have deceived this people and Jerusalem by saying, ‘You will have peace,’ while a sword is at our throats.”
11 ULB ಈ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಈ ಮಾತಾಗುವುದು, <<ಬಿಸಿಗಾಳಿಯು ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಬೋಳುಗುಡ್ಡಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಜೆಯೆಂಬ ಯುವತಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದು ತೂರುವುದಕ್ಕೂ, ಶೋಧಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಆಗದು. BSB BSB: At that time it will be said to this people and to Jerusalem, “A searing wind from the barren heights in the desert blows toward the daughter of My people, but not to winnow or to sift;
12 ULB ಇಂಥಾ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲಿಸದಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಬಿರುಸಾಗಿ ಹೊಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯದಂಡನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸುವೆನು>> ಎಂಬುದೇ. BSB BSB: a wind too strong for that comes from Me. Now I also pronounce judgments against them.”
13 ULB ಇಗೋ, ಆ ಶತ್ರುವು ಮೇಘಗಳೋಪಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಅವರ ರಥಗಳು ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಂತಿವೆ, ಅವನ ಅಶ್ವಗಳು ಹದ್ದುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ವೇಗವಾಗಿವೆ! ನಮ್ಮ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳೋಣ, ಹಾಳಾದೆವಲ್ಲಾ. BSB BSB: Behold, he advances like the clouds, his chariots like the whirlwind. His horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us, for we are ruined!
14 ULB ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮೇ, ನಿನಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ತೊಳೆದುಕೋ. ದುರಾಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ತಂಗಿರುವವು? BSB BSB: Wash the evil from your heart, O Jerusalem, so that you may be saved. How long will you harbor wicked thoughts within you?

17 ULB ಆ ನಗರವು ನನಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದ ಕಾರಣ ಅದನ್ನು ಹೊಲಕಾಯುವವರಂತೆ ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: They surround her like men guarding a field, because she has rebelled against Me,” declares the LORD.
18 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ನಡತೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳೂ ಈ ಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಒದಗಿಸಿವೆ, ಇದು ನಿನ್ನ ದುರ್ನೀತಿಯ ಫಲ, ಇದು ವಿಷವೇ; ಹೃದಯದವರೆಗೂ ಏರುತ್ತದೆ. BSB BSB: “Your ways and deeds have brought this upon you. This is your punishment; how bitter it is, because it pierces to the heart!”

20 ULB ನಾಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಶವು, ಒಂದರ ಮೇಲೊಂದು ನಾಶದ ಸುದ್ದಿಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ; ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು; ತಟ್ಟನೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಗುಡಾರಗಳು, ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಡೇರೆಗಳು ಭಗ್ನವಾದವು. BSB BSB: Disaster after disaster is proclaimed, for the whole land is laid waste. My tents are destroyed in an instant, my curtains in a moment.
21 ULB ನಾನು ಎಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಪತಾಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಲಿ, ಎಂದಿನ ತನಕ ತುತ್ತೂರಿಯ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿ! BSB BSB: How long must I see the signal flag and hear the sound of the horn?

27 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು, <<ದೇಶವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಟ್ಟಬರಿದಾಗುವುದು, ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಲಯಮಾಡೆನು. BSB BSB: For this is what the LORD says: “The whole land will be desolate, but I will not finish its destruction.

BSB BSB: Every city flees at the sound of the horseman and archer. They enter the thickets and climb among the rocks. Every city is abandoned; no inhabitant is left.
30 ULB ಎಲೈ, ನಗರವೇ, ನೀನು ಸೂರೆಯಾಗುವಾಗ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವಿ? ನೀನು ರಕ್ತಾಂಬರವನ್ನು ಹೊದ್ದು ಸುವರ್ಣಾಭರಣಗಳಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ನೀಲಾಂಜನ ಕಾಡಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಶೃಂಗರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೇನು, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಶೃಂಗಾರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ. ನಿನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದವರೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಧಿಕ್ಕರಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನೇ ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾರೆ. BSB BSB: And you, O devastated one, what will you do, though you dress yourself in scarlet, though you adorn yourself with gold jewelry, though you enlarge your eyes with paint? You adorn yourself in vain; your lovers despise you; they want to take your life.
31 ULB ಚೀಯೋನ್ ನಗರವು ಬೇನೆತಿನ್ನುವವಳಂತೆ, ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಹೆರಿಗೆಯ ವೇದನೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವವಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೂಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಏದುಸಿರುಬಿಡುತ್ತಾ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ, <<ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನನ್ನ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏನು ಹೇಳಲಿ! ಕೊಲೆಗಾರರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಬಳಲುತ್ತದೆ>> ಎಂದು ಅರಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ. BSB BSB: For I hear a cry like a woman in labor, a cry of anguish like one bearing her first child—the cry of the Daughter of Zion gasping for breath, stretching out her hands to say, “Woe is me, for my soul faints before the murderers!”
