2 ULB <<ಇಂಥಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೇಸರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಮಾತನಾಡುವಿರಿ. ಆದರಣೆಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಬಾಧಿಸುವವರು ನೀವು. BSB BSB: “I have heard many things like these; miserable comforters are you all.

4 ULB ನಾನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮಂತೆ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಣೆದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಯಾಡಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: I could also speak like you if you were in my place; I could heap up words against you and shake my head at you.
5 ULB ನಾನೂ ಬಾಯಿಮಾತಿಗಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಧೈರ್ಯಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ತುಟಿಗಳ ಆದರಣೆಯಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ಶಮನಪಡಿಸಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು. BSB BSB: But I would encourage you with my mouth, and the consolation of my lips would bring relief.
6 ULB ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರೂ, ನನ್ನ ಮನೋವ್ಯಥೆಯು ಶಾಂತವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸುಮ್ಮನಾದರೂ, ಕಷ್ಟ ನಿವಾರಣೆಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Even if I speak, my pain is not relieved, and if I hold back, how will it go away?

8 ULB ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿದೆ, ನನ್ನ ಬಲಹೀನವು ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖದ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ. BSB BSB: You have bound me, and it has become a witness; my frailty rises up and testifies against me.
9 ULB ಆತನ ಸಿಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೀಳಿ ಹಿಂಸಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ; ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಲ್ಲು ಕಡಿದಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಆತನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: His anger has torn me and opposed me; He gnashes His teeth at me. My adversary pierces me with His eyes.
10 ULB ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹಲವರು ಗುಂಪುಕೂಡಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಣಕಿಸಿ ಛೀಮಾರಿ ಹಾಕಿ, ನನ್ನ ದವಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. BSB BSB: They open their mouths against me and strike my cheeks with contempt; they join together against me.
11 ULB ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ದುಷ್ಟರ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: God has delivered me to unjust men; He has thrown me to the clutches of the wicked.
12 ULB ನಾನು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಿಂದ್ದಾಗ ಆತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು ಹಾಕಿದನು; ಕತ್ತುಹಿಡಿದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಚೂರು ಚೂರು ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಬಾಣ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: I was at ease, but He shattered me; He seized me by the neck and crushed me. He has set me up as His target;
13 ULB ಆತನ ಬಾಣಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಆತನು ಕರುಣೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗವನ್ನು ಇರಿದು, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಪಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: His archers surround me. He pierces my kidneys without mercy and spills my gall on the ground.
14 ULB ಮೇಲಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ನನಗೆ ಪೆಟ್ಟುಕೊಟ್ಟು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಶಕ್ತಿಹೀನನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಶೂರನ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಎರಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He breaks me with wound upon wound; He rushes me like a mighty warrior.
15 ULB ಗೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆದು ಮೈಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಕೊಂಬನ್ನು ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. BSB BSB: I have sewn sackcloth over my skin; I have buried my horn in the dust.
16 ULB ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಯುವುದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವು ಕೆಂಪಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ. ರೆಪ್ಪೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮರಣಾಂಧಕಾರವು ಕವಿದಿದೆ. BSB BSB: My face is red with weeping, and deep shadows ring my eyes;
17 ULB ಆದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈ ಯಾವ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲವಲ್ಲಾ, ನನ್ನ ವಿಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯು ನಿರ್ಮಲವಾದದ್ದು. BSB BSB: yet my hands are free of violence and my prayer is pure.
18 ULB ಭೂಮಿಯೇ, ನನ್ನ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಬೇಡ! ನನ್ನ ಮೊರೆಗೆ ಬಿಡುವು ಸಿಕ್ಕದಿರಲಿ! BSB BSB: O earth, do not cover my blood; may my cry for help never be laid to rest.
19 ULB ಆಹಾ, ಈಗಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಯ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಂಟು, ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಹೊಣೆಗಾರನು ಮೇಲಣ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Even now my witness is in heaven, and my advocate is on high.
20 ULB ಗೆಳೆಯರೋ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೀನೈಸುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಾನಾದರೋ ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವೆನು. BSB BSB: My friends are my scoffers as my eyes pour out tears to God.
21 ULB ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ, ಮಾನವನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮಿತ್ರನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: Oh, that a man might plead with God as he pleads with his neighbor!
22 ULB ನಾನು ಹಿಂದಿರುಗದ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು, ಕೆಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಹಿಡಿಯುವೆನು.>> BSB BSB: For when only a few years are past I will go the way of no return.
