2 ULB <<ಬಿರುಗಾಳಿಯಂತಿರುವ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿ ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟರವರೆಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿರುವಿ? BSB BSB: “How long will you go on saying such things? The words of your mouth are a blustering wind.
3 ULB ದೇವರು ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾದ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವನೋ? ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಡೊಂಕುಮಾಡುವನೋ? BSB BSB: Does God pervert justice? Does the Almighty pervert what is right?
4 ULB ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಅವರ ದುಷ್ಕೃತ್ಯದ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನೋ ಏನೋ? BSB BSB: When your children sinned against Him, He gave them over to their rebellion.

10 ULB ಅವರು ನಿನಗೆ ಬೋಧಿಸಿ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೇಳಿ, ಮನಃಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? BSB BSB: Will they not teach you and tell you, and speak from their understanding?
11 ULB ಜವುಗು ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಜಂಬುಹುಲ್ಲು ಬೆಳೆಯುವುದೇ? ನೀರಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಆಪುಹುಲ್ಲು ಮೊಳೆಯುವುದೇ? BSB BSB: Does papyrus grow where there is no marsh? Do reeds flourish without water?
12 ULB ಇನ್ನೂ ಎಳೆಯದಾಗಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಸಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ, ಯಾರೂ ಕೊಯ್ಯದೆ ಇದು ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: While the shoots are still uncut, they dry up more quickly than grass.
13 ULB ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಬಿಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲರ ಗತಿಯು ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಇರುವುದು; ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ನಿರರ್ಥಕವಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: Such is the destiny of all who forget God; so the hope of the godless will perish.
14 ULB ಅವನ ಭರವಸವು ಭಂಗವಾಗುವುದು, ಅವನ ಆಶ್ರಯವು ಜೇಡದ ಮನೆಯಂತಿರುವುದು. BSB BSB: His confidence is fragile; his security is in a spider’s web.
15 ULB ಅವನು ಆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಆತುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅದು ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅದು ಸ್ಥಿರವಾಗಿರದು. BSB BSB: He leans on his web, but it gives way; he holds fast, but it does not endure.
16 ULB ಅವನು ಬಳ್ಳಿಯಂತೆ ಬಿಸಿಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ತೋಟದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕವಲೊಡೆದು ಹರಡಿ BSB BSB: He is a well-watered plant in the sunshine, spreading its shoots over the garden.
17 ULB (ಕಲ್ಲು) ಕುಪ್ಪೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಬೇರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಣೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಕಲ್ಲುಬಿರುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನುಗ್ಗಬಲ್ಲನು. BSB BSB: His roots wrap around the rock heap; he looks for a home among the stones.
18 ULB ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತು ಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳವು, <ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಣೆ> ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: If he is uprooted from his place, it will disown him, saying, ‘I never saw you.’
19 ULB ಆ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ಬೇರೆ ಸಸಿಗಳು ಮೊಳೆಯುವವು. ಆಹಾ, ಇದೇ ಅವನ ಗತಿಯ ಸುಖ! BSB BSB: Surely this is the joy of his way; yet others will spring from the dust.
20 ULB ಇಗೋ ದೇವರು ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಯನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಕೆಡುಕರನ್ನು ಕೈಹಿಡಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: Behold, God does not reject the blameless, nor will He strengthen the hand of evildoers.
21 ULB ಆತನು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯನ್ನು ನಗುವಿನಿಂದಲೂ, ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಧ್ವನಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with a shout of joy.
22 ULB ನಿನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನವು ಮುಸುಕುವುದು; ದುಷ್ಟರ ನಿವಾಸವು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲವಾಗುವುದು.>> BSB BSB: Your enemies will be clothed in shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no more.”
