1. 1ULBಮೂರನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಲಿಲಾಯದ ಕಾನಾ ಎಂಬ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಮದುವೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಯೇಸುವಿನ ತಾಯಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಳು.BSBBSB: On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,
2. 2ULBಯೇಸುವನ್ನೂ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಮದುವೆಗೆ ಕರೆದಿದ್ದರು.BSBBSB: and Jesus and His disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
3. 3ULBಅಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಸಾಲದೆ ಹೋದಾಗ, ಯೇಸುವಿನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಆತನಿಗೆ <<ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಮುಗಿದುಹೋಗಿದೆ>> ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಳು.BSBBSB: When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to Him, “They have no more wine.”
4. 4ULBಯೇಸು ಆಕೆಗೆ <<ಅಮ್ಮಾ, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇನು ಮಾಡಲಿ? ನನ್ನ ಸಮಯವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.BSBBSB: “Woman, what is that to you and to Me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5. 5ULBಆತನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ <<ಆತನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಏನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿರಿ>> ಎಂದಳು.BSBBSB: His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever He tells you.”
6. 6ULBಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಶುದ್ಧಾಚಾರ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆರು ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಾನೆಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಬಾನೆಯೂ ಎರಡು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಮೂರು ಕೊಳಗ ನೀರು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಅಳತೆಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು.BSBBSB: Now six stone water jars had been set there for the Jewish rites of purification. Each could hold from twenty to thirty gallons.
7. 7ULBಯೇಸು ಅವರಿಗೆ, <<ಆ ಬಾನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು ತುಂಬಿರಿ>> ಎಂದನು. ಅವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಠದವರೆಗೆ ತುಂಬಿದರು.BSBBSB: Jesus told the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” So they filled them to the brim.
8. 8ULBಅನಂತರ ಆತನು ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ, <<ಈಗ ಇದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಔತಣದ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡಿರಿ>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಾಗ, ಅವರು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.BSBBSB: “Now draw some out,” He said, “and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so,
9. 9ULBಔತಣದ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನು ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವಾಗಿ ಮಾರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ನೀರನ್ನು ರುಚಿನೋಡಿದಾಗ, ಅದು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಂದಿತೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಆದರೆ ನೀರನ್ನು ತೋಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತಂದ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿತ್ತು. ಔತಣದ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಕನು ಮದುಮಗನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು,BSBBSB: and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. 10. 10ULB<<ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅಮಲೇರಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಾಧಾರಣವಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನೀನಾದರೋ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆ>> ಎಂದನು.BSBBSB: and said, “Everyone serves the fine wine first, and then the cheap wine after the guests are drunk. But you have saved the fine wine until now!”
11. 11ULBಯೇಸು ಈ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಸೂಚಕ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗಲಿಲಾಯದ ಕಾನಾ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ತನ್ನ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ತೋರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದನು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಟ್ಟರು.BSBBSB: Jesus performed this, the first of His signs, at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.
12. 12ULBಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸುವೂ, ಆತನ ತಾಯಿಯೂ, ತಮ್ಮಂದಿರೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಘಟ್ಟ ಇಳಿದು ಕಪೆರ್ನೌಮಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಕೆಲವು ದಿವಸ ಇದ್ದರು.BSBBSB: After this, He went down to Capernaum with His mother and brothers and His disciples, and they stayed there a few days.

14. 14ULBಆತನು ದೇವಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದನ, ಕುರಿ, ಪಾರಿವಾಳಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾರುವವರೂ, ನಾಣ್ಯ ವಿನಿಮಯ ಮಾಡುವವರು ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಕಂಡನು.BSBBSB: In the temple courts He found men selling cattle, sheep, and doves, and money changers seated at their tables.
15. 15ULBಆತನು ಹಗ್ಗದಿಂದ ಚಾವಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಕುರಿ, ದನ ಸಹಿತ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ, ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಹೊರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಟ್ಟಿ, ನಾಣ್ಯವಿನಿಮಯ ಮಾಡುವವರ ಮೇಜುಗಳನ್ನು ಉರುಳಿಸಿ, ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳನೆಲ್ಲ ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದನು.BSBBSB: So He made a whip out of cords and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle. He poured out the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
16. 16ULBಪಾರಿವಾಳ ಮಾರುವವರಿಗೆ ಸಿಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ <<ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿರಿ. ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಾಪಾರದ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿರಿ>> ಎಂದು ಗದರಿಸಿದನು.BSBBSB: To those selling doves He said, “Get these out of here! How dare you turn My Father’s house into a marketplace!”
17. 17ULBಆಗ <<ನಿನ್ನ ಆಲಯದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅಭಿಮಾನವು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ>> ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ನೆನಪುಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.BSBBSB: His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for Your house will consume Me.”
18. 18ULBಆಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ <<ಇದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾಡುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ನಿನಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾವ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತೀ?>> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು.BSBBSB: On account of this, the Jews demanded, “What sign can You show us to prove Your authority to do these things?”
19. 19ULBಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು <<ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿರಿ, ನಾನು ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವೆನು>> ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು.BSBBSB: Jesus answered, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again.”
20. 20ULBಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು, <<ಈ ದೇವಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಲವತ್ತಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳು ಹಿಡಿದವು. ನೀನು ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವಿಯೋ?>> ಎಂದರು.BSBBSB: “This temple took forty-six years to build,” the Jews replied, “and You are going to raise it up in three days?”
21. 21ULBಆದರೆ ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ದೇಹವೆಂಬ ದೇವಾಲಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಆ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದನು.BSBBSB: But Jesus was speaking about the temple of His body.
22. 22ULBಆದುದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎದ್ದ ಮೇಲೆ ಈ ಮಾತು ಆತನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಧರ್ಮಶಾಸ್ತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವುದನ್ನೂ, ಮತ್ತು ಯೇಸು ತಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ನಂಬಿದರು.BSBBSB: After He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this. Then they believed the Scripture and the word that Jesus had spoken.
23. 23ULBಆತನು ಪಸ್ಕಹಬ್ಬದ ಜಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಬಹು ಜನರು ಆತನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಸೂಚಕಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.BSBBSB: While He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many people saw the signs He was doing and believed in His name.
24. 24ULBಆದರೆ ಯೇಸು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬಲ್ಲವನಾದುದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ವಶವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ,BSBBSB: But Jesus did not entrust Himself to them, for He knew them all.
25. 25ULBಆತನು ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಆಂತರ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವನಾದ ಕಾರಣ ಯಾರೂ ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ.BSBBSB: He did not need any testimony about man, for He knew what was in a man.
