3 ULB ಅದೇ ಊರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ವಿಧವೆ ಇದ್ದಳು. ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು- ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನ ವಿರೋಧಿಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು. BSB BSB: And there was a widow in that town who kept appealing to him, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’

5 ULB ಆದರೂ ಈ ವಿಧವೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಈಕೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ತೀರ್ಪುಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಈಕೆ ಪದೇಪದೇ ಬಂದು ನನ್ನ ತಲೆ ಕೆಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟಾಳು, ಎಂದು ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: yet because this widow keeps pestering me, I will give her justice. Otherwise, she will wear me out with her perpetual requests.’”
6 ULB ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯು ಈ ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮೇಲೆ- ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಾರನಾದ ಈ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಧಿಪತಿ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ. BSB BSB: And the Lord said, “Listen to the words of the unjust judge.
7 ULB ದೇವರಾದುಕೊಂಡವರು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಹಗಲುರಾತ್ರಿ ಮೊರೆಯಿಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಡಮಾಡಿದರೂ ಅವರ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸದೆ ಇರುವನೇ? ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಗ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸದೆ ಇರುವನೇ? ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೇಗ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವನೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: Will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay in helping them?
8 ULB ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಬರುವಾಗ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣುಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವೋ? ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: I tell you, He will promptly carry out justice on their behalf. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on earth?”
10 ULB ಅದೇನಂದರೆ- ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ದೇವಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು; ಒಬ್ಬನು ಫರಿಸಾಯನು, ಒಬ್ಬನು ಸುಂಕದವನು. BSB BSB: “Two men went up to the temple to pray. One was a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11 ULB ಫರಿಸಾಯನು ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವಾಗ ತನ್ನೊಳಗೆ- ದೇವರೇ, ದರೋಡೆಕೋರರು, ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಾರರೂ, ಹಾದರಮಾಡುವವರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಉಳಿದ ಜನರಂತೆ ನಾನಲ್ಲ, ಈ ಸುಂಕದವನಂತೆಯೂ ಅಲ್ಲ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—swindlers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector.
12 ULB ವಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡಾವರ್ತಿ ಉಪವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಾನು ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹತ್ತರಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಪಾಲು ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: I fast twice a week and pay tithes of all that I acquire.’
13 ULB ಆದರೆ ಆ ಸುಂಕದವನು ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಆಕಾಶದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಎದೆಯನ್ನು ಬಡಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ- ದೇವರೇ, ಪಾಪಿಯಾದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸು ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: But the tax collector stood at a distance, unwilling even to lift up his eyes to heaven. Instead, he beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner!’

BSB BSB: I tell you, this man, rather than the Pharisee, went home justified. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”
15 ULB ಕೆಲವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೂಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಯೇಸುವಿನಿಂದ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತರಲು ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಕಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: Now people were even bringing their babies to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them. And when the disciples saw this, they rebuked those who brought them.

17 ULB ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಯಾರು ಶಿಶುಭಾವದಿಂದ ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಅವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, anyone who does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.”
18 ULB ಒಬ್ಬ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯು ಬಂದು- ಒಳ್ಳೇ ಬೋಧಕನೇ, ನಾನು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯನಾಗುವಂತೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಾಗಿ BSB BSB: Then a certain ruler asked Him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”
19 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ- ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನೆಂದು ಯಾಕೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೀ? ದೇವರೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಹೊರತು ಮತ್ತಾವನೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: “Why do you call Me good?” Jesus replied. “No one is good except God alone.
20 ULB ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು; ನರಹತ್ಯ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು; ಕದಿಯ ಬಾರದು; ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಹೇಳಬಾರದು; ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ದೇವರಾಜ್ಞೆಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿವೆಯಷ್ಟೆ, ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not bear false witness, honor your father and mother.’”
21 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕವನು- ನಾನು ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಇವೆಲ್ಲಕ್ಕೂ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು BSB BSB: “All these I have kept from my youth,” he said.
22 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ- ಇನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಒಂದು ಕೊರತೆಯಿದೆ; ನಿನಗಿರುವದೆಲ್ಲ ಮಾರಿ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಡು; ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸಂಪತ್ತುಂಟಾಗುವುದು; ನೀನು ಬಂದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: On hearing this, Jesus told him, “You still lack one thing: Sell everything you own and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
23 ULB ಅವನು ಬಹಳ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಬಹಳ ದುಃಖಪಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: But when the ruler heard this, he became very sad, because he was extremely wealthy.
24 ULB ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ಅವನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ- ಹಣವಂತರು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವದು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಕಷ್ಟ. BSB BSB: Seeing the man’s sadness, Jesus said, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!
25 ULB ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನು ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಒಂಟೆಯು ಸೂಜಿಯಕಣ್ಣಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನುಗ್ಗುವುದು ಸುಲಭ ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: Indeed, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”
26 ULB ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದವರು- (ಹೀಗಿದ್ದರೆ) ಯಾರಿಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯಾದೀತು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು BSB BSB: Those who heard this asked, “Who then can be saved?”
27 ULB ಆತನು- ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: But Jesus said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”
28 ULB ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು- ಇಗೋ, ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆ ಮಾರುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಬಂದೆವು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲು BSB BSB: “Look,” said Peter, “we have left all we had to follow You.”
30 ULB ಅವನಿಗೆ ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಪಾಲು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕೇ ಸಿಕ್ಕುತ್ತವೇ; ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದಣ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವು ದೊರೆಯುವದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: will fail to receive many times more in this age—and in the age to come, eternal life.”

BSB BSB: Then Jesus took the Twelve aside and said to them, “Look, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything the prophets have written about the Son of Man will be fulfilled.

36 ULB ಗುಂಪಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಜನರ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಇದೇನು ಎಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿದನು. BSB BSB: When he heard the crowd going by, he asked what was happening.
37 ULB ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ- ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸು ಈ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ BSB BSB: “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by,” they told him.
38 ULB ಅವನು- ಯೇಸುವೇ, ದಾವೀದನ ಕುಮಾರನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸು ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: So he called out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
39 ULB ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರು ಎಂದು ಅವನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಲು ಅವನು- ದಾವೀದನ ಕುಮಾರನೇ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರುಣಿಸು ಎಂದು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: Those who led the way admonished him to be silent, but he cried out all the louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
40 ULB ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ನಿಂತು ಅವನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: Jesus stopped and directed that the man be brought to Him. When he had come near, Jesus asked him,
41 ULB ಅವನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದನು. ಆತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ- ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಏನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರುತ್ತೀ? ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅವನು- ನನಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣುಕಾಣುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಕರ್ತನೇ ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: “What do you want Me to do for you?” “Lord,” he said, “let me see again.”
42 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅವನಿಗೆ- ನಿನಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣುಕಾಣುವಂತಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದೋ ಹೇಳಿ; ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೇ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: “Receive your sight!” Jesus replied. “Your faith has healed you.”
43 ULB ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕಾಣಿಸಿದವು; ಅವನು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದನು. ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರು ನಡೆದ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿದರು. BSB BSB: Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.
