1 ULB ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಗೆಯ ರೋಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಬೇನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಾಸಿಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: And calling His twelve disciples to Him, Jesus gave them authority over unclean spirits, so that they could drive them out and heal every disease and sickness.

3 ULB ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪ, ಬಾರ್ತೊಲೊಮಾಯ, ತೋಮ, ಸುಂಕ ವಸೂಲಿಗಾರನಾದ ಮತ್ತಾಯ, ಅಲ್ಫಾಯನ ಮಗ ಯಾಕೋಬ, ತದ್ದಾಯ, BSB BSB: Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
4 ULB ಮತಾಭಿಮಾನಿ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡ ಸೀಮೋನ ಹಾಗೂ ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಟ್ಟ ಇಸ್ಕರಿಯೋತ ಯೂದ, ಎಂಬಿವರುಗಳೇ. BSB BSB: Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.
6 ULB ಇವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಕುರಿಗಳಂತಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ. BSB BSB: Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.
7 ULB <ಪರಲೋಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಸಮೀಪವಾಯಿತೆಂದು> ಸಾರಿಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗಿರಿ. BSB BSB: As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’
8 ULB ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿರಿ, ಸತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸಿರಿ, ಕುಷ್ಠರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿರಿ, ದೆವ್ವಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಿರಿ; ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ಉಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಿರಿ. BSB BSB: Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
9 ULB ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈ ಚೀಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನ, ಹಣ ದುಡ್ಡುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ದಾರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ಚೀಲಗಳನ್ನೂ, BSB BSB: Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts.
10 ULB ಎರಡು ಅಂಗಿ, ಚಪ್ಪಲಿ, ಕೋಲು ಮೊದಲಾದವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಆಳು ತನ್ನ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Take no bag for the road, or second tunic, or sandals, or staff; for the worker is worthy of his provisions.
11 ULB ನೀವು ಯಾವುದೇ ಊರಿಗೆ ಅಥವಾ ಹಳ್ಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಗ್ಯರು ಯಾರೆಂದು ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡುವ ತನಕ ಅ ಊರಲ್ಲೇ ಇರಿ. BSB BSB: Whatever town or village you enter, find out who is worthy there and stay at his house until you move on.
12 ULB ಆ ಮನೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ ಅನ್ನಿರಿ. BSB BSB: As you enter the home, greet its occupants.
13 ULB ಆ ಮನೆಯವರು ಯೋಗ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿ; ಅಯೋಗ್ಯರಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಧಾನವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿ ಬರಲಿ. BSB BSB: If the home is worthy, let your peace rest on it, but if it is not, let your peace return to you.
14 ULB ಯಾರಾದರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳದೆಯೂ ಹೋದರೆ ನೀವು ಆ ಮನೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಆ ಊರನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೊರಡುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿದ ಧೂಳನ್ನು ಝಾಡಿಸಿಬಿಡಿರಿ. BSB BSB: And if anyone will not welcome you or heed your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town.
15 ULB ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಥ ಊರಿನ ಗತಿಯು ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಗೊಮೋರಗಳ ಸೀಮೆಯ ಗತಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಕಠಿಣವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಎಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.
16 ULB <<ನೋಡಿರಿ, ತೋಳಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಕುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಸರ್ಪಗಳಂತೆ ಜಾಣರೂ ಪಾರಿವಾಳಗಳಂತೆ ನಿಷ್ಕಪಟಿಗಳೂ ಆಗಿರಿ. BSB BSB: Behold, I am sending you out like sheep among wolves; therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.
17 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಜನರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿರಿ; ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಯ ಸಭೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಚಾವಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆಯುವರು. BSB BSB: But beware of men, for they will hand you over to their councils and flog you in their synagogues.
18 ULB ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಅನ್ಯಜನಗಳಿಗೂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗುವಿರಿ. BSB BSB: On My account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles.
19 ULB ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವಾಗ ಏನು ಮಾತನಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಚಿಂತೆಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಆಡತಕ್ಕ ಮಾತು ಆ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೋಚರವಾಗುವುದು. BSB BSB: But when they hand you over, do not worry about how to respond or what to say. In that hour you will be given what to say.
20 ULB ಮಾತನಾಡುವವರು ನೀವಲ್ಲ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಆತ್ಮನೇ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಾಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವನು. BSB BSB: For it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
21 ULB ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸಹೋದರನು ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು, ತಂದೆಯು ಮಗನನ್ನು, ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವರು; ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೆತ್ತವರ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸುವರು. BSB BSB: Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rise against their parents and have them put to death.
22 ULB ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಸರಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವರು. ಆದರೆ ಕಡೆಯವರೆಗೂ ತಾಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆಹೊಂದುವನು. BSB BSB: You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
23 ULB ಒಂದು ಊರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸೆಪಡಿಸಿದರೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಊರಿಗೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ; ಮನುಷ್ಯಕುಮಾರನು ಬರುವಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಜನರ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. BSB BSB: When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next. Truly I tell you, you will not reach all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
24 ULB <<ಗುರುವಿಗಿಂತ ಶಿಷ್ಯನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಲ್ಲ, ಒಡೆಯನಿಗಿಂತ ಆಳು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.
25 ULB ಗುರುವಿನಂತೆ ಆಗುವುದು ಶಿಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಸಾಕು, ಒಡೆಯನಂತೆ ಆಗುವುದು ಆಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಕು. ಅವರು ಮನೆಯ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ ಬೆಲ್ಜೆಬೂಲನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟು ಕರೆದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆತನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೆಷ್ಟು ಅವಹೇಳನವಾಗಿ ಕರೆದಾರು? BSB BSB: It is enough for a disciple to be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household!
26 ULB ಆದರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಮರೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಯಾವುದೂ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗದೆ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಾರದ ರಹಸ್ಯವು ಇಲ್ಲ. BSB BSB: So do not be afraid of them. For there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, and nothing hidden that will not be made known.
27 ULB ನಾನು ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವುದನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರಿ, ಮತ್ತು ಕಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಳಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಸಾರಿರಿ. BSB BSB: What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the housetops.
30 ULB ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಲೆಕೂದಲುಗಳು ಸಹ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಎಣಿಕೆಯಾಗಿವೆ. BSB BSB: And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 ULB ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಬಹಳ ಗುಬ್ಬಿಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ನೀವು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬೆಲೆಬಾಳುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ. BSB BSB: So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
33 ULB ಆದರೆ ಯಾವನು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ತಾನು ನನ್ನವನಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವನೋ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸಹ ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನವನಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಹೇಳುವೆನು. BSB BSB: But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven.
35 ULB ಹೇಗಂದರೆ ಮಗನಿಗೂ ತಂದೆಗೂ, ಮಗಳಿಗೂ ತಾಯಿಗೂ, ಸೊಸೆಗೂ ಅತ್ತೆಗೂ ಭೇದಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆನು. BSB BSB: For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 ULB ಹೀಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯವರೇ ಶತ್ರುಗಳಾಗಿರುವರು. BSB BSB: A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’
39 ULB ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡವನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. BSB BSB: Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
40 ULB <<ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುವವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಾತನನ್ನೇ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives the One who sent Me.
41 ULB ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೆಂದು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗೆ ಬರತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು; ನೀತಿವಂತನನ್ನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೆ ಬರತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು. BSB BSB: Whoever receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward, and whoever receives a righteous man because he is a righteous man will receive a righteous man’s reward.
42 ULB ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಕನಿಷ್ಠರಾದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯನೆಂದು ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ತಂಬಿಗೆ ತಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬರುವುದು ತಪ್ಪುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is My disciple, truly I tell you, he will never lose his reward.”
