1 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಫರಿಸಾಯರೂ, ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಗಳೂ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, BSB BSB: Then some Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem and asked,
2 ULB <<ನಿನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಹಿರಿಯರ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ? ಅವರು ತಿನ್ನುವಾಗ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. BSB BSB: “Why do Your disciples break the tradition of the elders? They do not wash their hands before they eat.”
3 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, <<ನೀವು ಸಹ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ? BSB BSB: Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?
4 ULB ಹೇಗಂದರೆ <ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ದೂಷಿಸುವವನು ಸಾಯಲೇಬೇಕೆಂತಲೂ> ದೇವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ. BSB BSB: For God said, ‘Honor your father and mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’
5 ULB ನೀವೋ, <ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನಾಗಲಿ, ತಾಯಿಯಾನಾಗಲಿ, ನೋಡಿ ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಕೊಡತಕ್ಕದ್ದನ್ನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಮುಡಿಪುಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ, BSB BSB: But you say that if anyone says to his father or mother, ‘Whatever you would have received from me is a gift devoted to God,’
6 ULB ಅವನು <ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆತಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ> ಅನ್ನುತ್ತೀರಿ. ಹೀಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರರ್ಥಕ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ. BSB BSB: he need not honor his father or mother with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.
7 ULB ಕಪಟಿಗಳೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕುರಿತು ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿ, ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿರುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, BSB BSB: You hypocrites! Isaiah prophesied correctly about you:
9 ULB ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿದ ಕಟ್ಟಳೆಗಳನ್ನೇ ಅವರು ಉಪದೇಶವಾಗಿ ಬೋಧಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವರು>> ಎಂಬುದೇ. BSB BSB: They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’”
10 ULB ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೇಸು ಜನರ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ, <<ಕೇಳಿ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, BSB BSB: Jesus called the crowd to Him and said, “Listen and understand.
11 ULB ಬಾಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಂಥದ್ದು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಬಾಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರುವಂಥ ಮಾತು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: A man is not defiled by what enters his mouth, but by what comes out of it.”
12 ULB ಆಗ ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಬಂದು ಆತನನ್ನು, <<ಫರಿಸಾಯರು ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಬೇಸರಗೊಂಡರೆಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಯಿತೋ>> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದರು. BSB BSB: Then the disciples came to Him and said, “Are You aware that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”
13 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು <<ಪರಲೋಕದ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯು ನೆಡದೆ ಇರುವ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬೇರುಸಹಿತ ಕಿತ್ತುಹಾಕಲ್ಪಡುವವು. BSB BSB: But Jesus replied, “Every plant that My heavenly Father has not planted will be pulled up by its roots.
14 ULB ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿರಿ, ಅವರು ಕುರುಡರಿಗೆ ದಾರಿ ತೋರಿಸುವವರು ಕುರುಡರ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕುರುಡನು ಕುರುಡನಿಗೆ ದಾರಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರೆ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಕುಣಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಬೀಳುವರು>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: Disregard them! They are blind guides. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.”
15 ULB ಆಗ ಪೇತ್ರನು, <<ಈ ಸಾಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿ ಹೇಳು>> ಅಂದನು, BSB BSB: Peter said to Him, “Explain this parable to us.”
16 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು, <<ನೀವೂ ಕೂಡಾ ಇನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲದವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಾ? BSB BSB: “Do you still not understand?” Jesus asked.
17 ULB ಬಾಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಂಥದ್ದು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿ ವಿಸರ್ಜಿತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? BSB BSB: “Do you not yet realize that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then is eliminated?
18 ULB ಆದರೆ ಬಾಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೊರ ಬರುವಂಥವುಗಳು ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ. ಇವೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಿಮಾಡುವವು. BSB BSB: But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these things defile a man.
19 ULB ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು, ಕೊಲೆ, ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರ, ಜಾರತ್ವ, ಕಳ್ಳತನ, ಸುಳ್ಳುಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಮತ್ತು ದೂಷಣೆಗಳು ಹೊರಟು ಬರುತ್ತವೆ. BSB BSB: For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander.
20 ULB ಇಂಥವುಗಳೇ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕೈ ತೊಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಊಟಮಾಡುವುದು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.>> ಅಂದನು. BSB BSB: These are what defile a man, but eating with unwashed hands does not defile him.”
22 ULB ಆ ಸೀಮೆಯಿಂದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯಳಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯೊಬ್ಬಳು ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದು, <<ಕರ್ತನೇ, ದಾವೀದನ ಕುಮಾರನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರುಣೆಯಿಡು, ನನ್ನ ಮಗಳಿಗೆ ದೆವ್ವಹಿಡಿದು ಬಹಳ ಯಾತನೆಪಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಳೆ>> ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿಕೊಂಡಳು. BSB BSB: And a Canaanite woman from that region came to Him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is miserably possessed by a demon.”
25 ULB ಆಗ ಆಕೆ ಬಂದು ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡ್ಡ ಬಿದ್ದು, <<ಕರ್ತನೇ ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡು>> ಅಂದಳು. BSB BSB: The woman came and knelt before Him. “Lord, help me!” she said.
26 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕಾತನು, <<ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನಾಯಿಮರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಾಕುವುದು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ>> ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: But Jesus replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”
27 ULB ಆಕೆಯು, <<ಹೌದು, ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಆದರೆ ನಾಯಿಮರಿಗಳಂತೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಯಜಮಾನನ ಮೇಜಿನಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತವಲ್ಲಾ>> ಅಂದಳು. BSB BSB: “Yes, Lord,” she said, “even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”
29 ULB ಯೇಸು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಆಗ ಆತನು ಒಂದು ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡನು. BSB BSB: Moving on from there, Jesus went along the Sea of Galilee. Then He went up on a mountain and sat down.
30 ULB ಆಗ ಜನರು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪುಗಳಾಗಿ ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದುದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕುಂಟರು, ಕುರುಡರು, ಮೂಕರು, ಕೈಕಾಲಿಲ್ಲದವರು ಈ ಮುಂತಾದ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕರೆತಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಆತನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡಿದನು. BSB BSB: Large crowds came to Him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute, and many others, and laid them at His feet, and He healed them.
31 ULB ಮೂಕರಾಗಿದ್ದವರು ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದನ್ನೂ ಕೈಕಾಲಿಲ್ಲದವರು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥವಾದದ್ದನ್ನೂ, ಕುಂಟರು ನಡೆದಾಡುವುದನ್ನೂ, ಕುರುಡರು ನೋಡುವುದನ್ನೂ ಜನರು ಕಂಡು ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿದರು. BSB BSB: The crowd was amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled restored, the lame walking, and the blind seeing. And they glorified the God of Israel.
32 ULB ಆಗ ಯೇಸು ತನ್ನ ಶಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದು ಅವರಿಗೆ, <<ನಾನು ಈ ಜನರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕನಿಕರಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರು ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ತಿನ್ನುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಸಿವಿನಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಲಿ ಹೋದಾರು>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. BSB BSB: Then Jesus called His disciples to Him and said, “I have compassion for this crowd, because they have already been with Me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may faint along the way.”
33 ULB ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಆತನಿಗೆ, <<ಇಷ್ಟು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನರ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಲಾಗುವಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯು ಈ ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸಿಕ್ಕೀತು?>> ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. BSB BSB: The disciples replied, “Where in this desolate place could we find enough bread to feed such a large crowd?”
34 ULB ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೇಸು, <<ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಎಷ್ಟು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿವೆ?>> ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು, <<ಏಳು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಿವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಲವು ಸಣ್ಣ ಮೀನುಗಳು ಅವೆ>> ಅಂದರು. BSB BSB: “How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked. “Seven,” they replied, “and a few small fish.”
35 ULB ಆಗ ಆತನು ಜನರ ಗುಂಪಿಗೆ, ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. BSB BSB: And He instructed the crowd to sit down on the ground.
36 ULB ಆತನು ಆ ಏಳು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆ ಮೀನುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು ಶಿಷ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಶಿಷ್ಯರು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. BSB BSB: Taking the seven loaves and the fish, He gave thanks and broke them. Then He gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people.
37 ULB ಆ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಊಟಮಾಡಿ ತೃಪ್ತರಾದರು. ಉಳಿದ ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಲಾಗಿ ಏಳು ಪುಟ್ಟಿಗಳು ತುಂಬಿದವು. BSB BSB: They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
38 ULB ಊಟಮಾಡಿದವರು ಹೆಂಗಸರು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಗಂಡಸರೇ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರವಿದ್ದರು. BSB BSB: A total of four thousand men were fed, besides women and children.
39 ULB ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಆ ಜನರ ಗುಂಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ದೋಣಿಯನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿ ಮಗದಾನ್ ಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಹೋದನು. BSB BSB: After Jesus had dismissed the crowds, He got into the boat and went to the region of Magadan.
