1ಆ ಘೋರವಾದ ವ್ಯಾಧಿ ನಿಂತ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋನನ ಮಗನೂ, ಯಾಜಕನೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ,After the plague had ended, the LORD said to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron the priest,

2<<ನೀವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸರ್ವಸಮೂಹದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಯಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರನ್ನು ಅಂದರೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡತಕ್ಕವರನ್ನು ಗೋತ್ರಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಬೇಕು>> ಎಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.“Take a census of the whole congregation of Israel by the houses of their fathers—all those twenty years of age or older who can serve in the army of Israel.”

48ನಫ್ತಾಲಿ ಕುಲದ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು: ಯಹಚೇಲನ ವಂಶಸ್ಥರಾದ ಯಹಚೇಲ್ಯರು, ಗೂನೀಯ ವಂಶಸ್ಥರಾದ ಗೂನೀಯರು,These were the descendants of Naphtali by their clans: The Jahzeelite clan from Jahzeel, the Gunite clan from Guni,

52ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,Then the LORD said to Moses,

53<<ನೀವು ಈ ಕುಲಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರವರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವದೇಶವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು.“The land is to be divided among the tribes as an inheritance, according to the number of names.

54ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿಯೂ, ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಂದಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು. ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಿದ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.Increase the inheritance for a large tribe and decrease it for a small one; each tribe is to receive its inheritance according to the number of those registered.

55ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಕುಲದ ಪಿತೃವಿನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ಚೀಟುಹಾಕಿ ಆಯಾ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಗೊತ್ತು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.Indeed, the land must be divided by lot; they shall receive their inheritance according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.

56ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಕುಲಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ, ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾದ ಕುಲಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ ಚೀಟು ಬಂದ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡಬೇಕು.>>Each inheritance is to be divided by lot among the larger and smaller tribes.”

57ಲೇವಿಯರೊಳಗೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು: ಗೇರ್ಷೋನನ ವಂಶದವರಾದ ಗೇರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರು, ಕೆಹಾತನ ವಂಶದವರಾದ ಕೆಹಾತ್ಯರು, ಮೆರಾರೀಯ ವಂಶದವರಾದ ಮೆರಾರೀಯರು.Now these were the Levites numbered by their clans: The Gershonite clan from Gershon, the Kohathite clan from Kohath, and the Merarite clan from Merari.

58ಲೇವಿ ಕುಲದವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳು: ಲಿಬ್ನೀಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬ, ಹೆಬ್ರೋನ್ಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬ, ಮಹ್ಲೀಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬ, ಮೂಷೀಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬ, ಕೋರಹಿಯರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಇವುಗಳೇ. ಕೆಹಾತನು ಅಮ್ರಾಮನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದನು.These were the families of the Levites: The Libnite clan, the Hebronite clan, the Mahlite clan, the Mushite clan, and the Korahite clan. Now Kohath was the father of Amram,

59ಅಮ್ರಾಮನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಯಾರೆಂದರೆ: ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇವಿಯಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಯೋಕೆಬೆದಳು. ಈಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮ್ರಾಮನಿಂದ ಆರೋನನೂ, ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಇವರ ಅಕ್ಕ ಮಿರ್ಯಾಮಳೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.and Amram’s wife was named Jochebed. She was also a daughter of Levi, born to Levi in Egypt. To Amram she bore Aaron, Moses, and their sister Miriam.

61ನಾದಾಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೀಹೂ ಎಂಬಿಬ್ಬರು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಬೇರೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದರು.but Nadab and Abihu died when they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD.

64ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಆರೋನನೂ ಸೀನಾಯಿ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರೊಳಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬರಾದರೂ ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.Among all these, however, there was not one who had been numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they counted the Israelites in the Wilderness of Sinai.

65ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸಾಯುವರೆಂದು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕಾಲೇಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ನೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವ ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರ ಹೊರತಾಗಿ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಉಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.For the LORD had told them that they would surely die in the wilderness. Not one was left except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
