5 ULB ಅಹಂಕಾರಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯ, ಅವರಿಗೆ ದಂಡನೆ ಖಂಡಿತ. BSB BSB: Everyone who is proud in heart is detestable to the LORD; be assured that he will not go unpunished.
6 ULB ಕೃಪಾಸತ್ಯತೆಗಳಿಂದ ಪಾಪನಿವಾರಣೆ, ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಯಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹಾನಿನಿವಾರಣೆ. BSB BSB: By loving devotion and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the LORD one turns aside from evil.
7 ULB ಯೆಹೋವನು ಒಬ್ಬನ ನಡತೆಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿದರೆ, ಅವನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಿತ್ರರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವನು. BSB BSB: When a man’s ways please the LORD, He makes even the man’s enemies live at peace with him.
8 ULB ಅನ್ಯಾಯದಿಂದ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಬಹು ಧನಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ, ನ್ಯಾಯದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದ ಅಲ್ಪ ಧನವೇ ಲೇಸು. BSB BSB: Better a little with righteousness than great gain with injustice.
9 ULB ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಮನದಂತೆ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರೂ, ಯೆಹೋವನೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: A man’s heart plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
10 ULB ರಾಜನ ತುಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೈವೋಕ್ತಿ, ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಹೋಗದು. BSB BSB: A divine verdict is on the lips of a king; his mouth must not betray justice.

12 ULB ರಾಜರು ಸಿಂಹಾಸನಕ್ಕೆ ಧರ್ಮವೇ ಆಧಾರವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು, ಅಧರ್ಮವನ್ನಾಚರಿಸಲು ಅಸಹ್ಯಪಡುವರು. BSB BSB: Wicked behavior is detestable for kings, for a throne is established through righteousness.
13 ULB ರಾಜರು ಸತ್ಯದ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವರು, ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾದಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವರು. BSB BSB: Righteous lips are a king’s delight, and he who speaks honestly is beloved.
14 ULB ರಾಜನ ಕೋಪ ಮೃತ್ಯುವಿನ ದೂತ, ಜಾಣನು ಅದನ್ನು ಶಮನಪಡಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: The wrath of a king is a messenger of death, but a wise man will pacify it.
15 ULB ಪ್ರಭುವಿನ ಮುಖಪ್ರಸನ್ನತೆ ಜೀವ, ಆತನ ದಯೆ ಮುಂಗಾರುಮುಗಿಲು. BSB BSB: When a king’s face brightens, there is life; his favor is like a rain cloud in spring.
16 ULB ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವುದು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಮೇಲು, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ವಿವೇಕವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವುದು ಲೇಸು. BSB BSB: How much better to acquire wisdom than gold! To gain understanding is more desirable than silver.
17 ULB ಸತ್ಯವಂತನ ರಾಜಮಾರ್ಗ ಹಾನಿಗೆ ದೂರ, ತನ್ನ ನಡತೆಯನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸುವವನು ತನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವನು. BSB BSB: The highway of the upright leads away from evil; he who guards his way protects his life.

22 ULB ವಿವೇಕಿಗೆ ವಿವೇಕವೇ ಜೀವದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆ, ಮೂರ್ಖನಿಗೆ ಮೂರ್ಖತನವೇ ದಂಡನೆ. BSB BSB: Understanding is a fountain of life to its possessor, but the discipline of fools is folly.

30 ULB ಕಣ್ಣನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವನು, ತುಟಿಯನ್ನು ಕಚ್ಚುವವನು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸುವನು. BSB BSB: He who winks his eye devises perversity; he who purses his lips is bent on evil.
