8 PBDB Kasih puang ta'u luput. Kude, amun naan kawan nubuatan, sagar nasa mawai; amun naan kawan bahasa, sagar tariye; andri amun naan karasaen, sagar nasa mawai. BSB BSB: Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be restrained; where there is knowledge, it will be dismissed.
9 PBDB Daya, takam karasa meheni ai andri takam banubuat meheni ai. BSB BSB: For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
10 PBDB Kude, katika sa patut na'eh hawi, sa meheni ru sagar na samawai. BSB BSB: but when the perfect comes, the partial passes away.
11 PBDB Tawuk aku kawan iya, aku bapan'ner nyalah kawan iya, aku bapikir sameh kawan iya. Katika aku jari hante, aku nanan kawan hal sa kawan iya iru. BSB BSB: When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I set aside childish ways.
12 PBDB Daya ta'ati takam kadinung hang wuang saramin nyalah samar samar, kude balalu aruwawa andri aruwawa. Ta'ati, aku ekat kataru meheni, kude balalu aku sagar kataru katuluhni, nyalah aku pada haut na pataru katuluhni. BSB BSB: Now we see but a dim reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 PBDB Jari, ta'ati katelu hal iti sa tatap muneng, hanyeru iman, kaharapen andri kasih; kude sa paling hante teka kateluni hanyeru kasih. BSB BSB: And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love; but the greatest of these is love.
