2 PBBR Nige ladakohlah, ayo-sok da gat'n macaya nige hal-hal da baharga haruslah anu bukti kalo ayo'a kaat'n gat'n macaya. BSB BSB: Now it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.
3 PBBR Barang, bagiko' kati ta penting kalo iko' gat'n manghakim uleh imu' ato uleh suatu pangadilan talino. Bahkan, iko' sadi kati manghakim adupko.' BSB BSB: I care very little, however, if I am judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself.
4 PBBR Sa', iko' kati nyadar jaipun aok adupko' sadi. Barang, inya karna hal dakoh iko' gat'n da taman, malainkan Tuhanlah da manghakim iko.' BSB BSB: My conscience is clear, but that does not vindicate me. It is the Lord who judges me.
5 PBBR Karna dakoh, iya'lah manghakim ti'nga waktu'a, dakohta ti'nga Tuhan utukng. Hal-hal da basukat'n ka sadat'n da patakng ge' aok nyata maksud-maksud ate. Lalu, satiap sok aoknarima pujian umpat'n Jabata. BSB BSB: Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the Lord comes. BSB BSB: Already you have all you want. Already you have become rich. Without us, you have become kings. How I wish you really were kings, so that we might be kings with you!
9 PBBR Sa', manurutko', Jabata ngalaka mana' kai', para rasul, gat'n mana' ayo-sok da gat'n ngajantu hukuman kabis; karna kai' gat'n jadi tuntonan ya' dunia, bait ya' ayo malaikat maupun talino. BSB BSB: For it seems to me that God has displayed us apostles at the end of the procession, like prisoners appointed for death. We have become a spectacle to the whole world, to angels as well as to men.
10 PBBR Kai' baga demi Kristus, tapi bijaksana ka sadat'n Kristus. Kai lamah, tapi imu' kuat. Imu' gat'n manghormat, tapi kai gat'n nyamanya. BSB BSB: We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honored, but we are dishonored.
11 PBBR Sampe mati' diah, kai' saburuk ge' aus, bapangiak da rujet-rujet, gat'n mangkukng, ge' idup mangambara. BSB BSB: To this very hour we are hungry and thirsty, we are poorly clothed, we are brutally treated, we are homeless.
12 PBBR Kai' bajarih payah, bakaraje nige barekng kai' sadi. Sa' kai' gat'n ngaraca, kai' mamberkati. Sa' kai' gat'n nyiksa, kai' batahan. BSB BSB: We work hard with our own hands. When we are vilified, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;
13 PBBR Sa' kai' gat'n fitnah, kai' naham nige ramah. Bahkan, sampe mati', kai' jadi ulah sampah dunia diah, kutoran umpat'n sagala sasuatu. BSB BSB: when we are slandered, we answer gently. Up to this moment we have become the scum of the earth, the refuse of the world.
14 PBBR Iko' nulis hal-hal diah inya ya' manyangun imu', malait'nkan ya' manasehati imu' sabage ayo-kangot da ko'nganyayang. BSB BSB: I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you as my beloved children.
15 PBBR Sa', sakalipun imu' umpu sapuluh ribu guru ka sadat'n Krtistus, iko'lah da jadi sama'mu' nabi Injil. BSB BSB: Even if you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.
16 PBBR Jadi, iko' nyurong imu' jadilah sok da manurut taladanko'! BSB BSB: Therefore I urge you to imitate me.
17 PBBR Dakohlah sabab'a, iko' ngalaka ngutus ka imu' Timotius, anakko' da ko' nganyayang ge' da setia ka sadat'n Tuhan. Ini' aok ngingat imu' bajalat'n-jalat'nko' ka sadat'n Kristus, ulah da iko' ngajar ka dume-dume, ka sadat'n satiap jamaat. BSB BSB: That is why I have sent you Timothy, my beloved and faithful child in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which is exactly what I teach everywhere in every church.
18 PBBR Mani ungan umpat'n imu' jadi da jadi sumbong, saolah-olah iko' kati aok utukng agi ka imu. BSB BSB: Some of you have become arrogant, as if I were not coming to you.

20 PBBR Sabab, Karajaan Jabata inya sadatn saratn, melain a' sadatn kuasa. BSB BSB: For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.
21 PBBR Jai da imu' ngate a'? Arus ta iko' utukng wak' mu' nige' tungkat ato nige' kasih ge roh kelemahlembutan? BSB BSB: Which do you prefer? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and with a gentle spirit?
