BSB BSB: Now by the mildness and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you—I, Paul, who am humble when face to face with you, but bold when away.

3 PBBR Memang, kai' masih idup ka sadat'n dagin, tapi kai' kati bajuang sacara dagin. BSB BSB: For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh.
4 PBBR Sa', sanjata-sanjata parang kai' inya umpat'n daging, malait'nkan umpat'n kakuatan ilahi ya' gat'n ngancur benteng-benteng. BSB BSB: The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the flesh. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
5 PBBR Kai' ngaruntuh pamikiran-pamikiran ge' satiap hal da nyamo da gat'n ngalumpat uleh angkuh talino ya' nantang panganalan Jabata. Kai' manawan sagala pamikiran ge' manakluk'a ka Kristus, BSB BSB: We demolish arguments and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
6 PBBR ge' kai' siap ngukum samaan da kati taat sa' taatmu' gat'n nyampurna. BSB BSB: And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, as soon as your obedience is complete.
7 PBBR Ilelah ka jai da ani ka turamu'. Kalo ani sok da yakin adup'a diu ta umpu Kristus, kate'a ini' mikir kambali hal diah, lakoh ta langkina ini' diu ta umpu Kristus, kai' pun ladiah ta. BSB BSB: You are looking at outward appearances. If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should remind himself that we belong to Christ just as much as he does.
8 PBBR Bahkan, kalopun iko' agak balabih mambangga otoritas, da Jabata mangkat'n ka kai' ya' mambangun imu' ge' inya ya' ngancur imu' iko' kati aok mangun. BSB BSB: For even if I boast somewhat excessively about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed.

10 PBBR Sabab, ayo'a nyansana "surat-surat'a memang tegas ge' karas, tapi cara utukng umpu, ini' lamah ge' nyansana'a kati barati." BSB BSB: For some say, “His letters are weighty and forceful, but his physical presence is unimpressive, and his speaking is of no account.”
11 PBBR Kate'a sok da samu dakoh mikir hal diah, jai da kai muji nige surat waktu kai kati bariuh ge imu, samu dakoh perbuatan kai waktu bariuh ge imu.' BSB BSB: Such people should consider that what we are in our letters when absent, we will be in our actions when present.
12 PBBR Sa, kai kati pagatn yak ngubu'a ato nyamu'adup kai nige maniungan sok ngarnia adup'a sadi. Sa, ano ayo'a ngukur adup'a nige ayo adup'a sadi ge nyamu adup'a nige ayo adup sadi, ayo'a dakoh kati memaham'a. BSB BSB: We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they show their ignorance.
13 PBBR Sa' ao'a, kai kati aok babanga kasamo hal-hal da' malampo baat kai, malaint' manurut baat umpant' katatapan da' Jabata laka angkant' wa' kai, ai' baat yak mejangko sampe wa' kai uga.' BSB BSB: We, however, will not boast beyond our limits, but only within the field of influence that God has assigned to us—a field that reaches even to you.
14 PBBR Sabab, kai kati malampo baat kai, saolah-olah kai kati mejangko sampe wak kai. Kai ta' da pamule kali sampe kai'imu' nige' Injil Kristus. BSB BSB: We are not overstepping our bounds, as if we had not come to you. Indeed, we were the first to reach you with the gospel of Christ.
15 PBBR Kai uga kati babangga malampo baat kai nige babangga samo' jarih lalah sok laint' malaint nige pangarapan bawa' sebagedume imanMu' batumbuh, walayah karaje kai ka antara imu' aok samakin gantngaluas agi, BSB BSB: Neither do we boast beyond our limits in the labors of others. But we hope that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you will greatly increase as well,
16 PBBR sapaya kai kaant' nga'gah Injil ka walayah-walayah ka'sato imu', ge' kati babangga samo jai da laka gant'nyalasai ka walayah karaje sok laint.' BSB BSB: so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you. Then we will not be boasting in the work already done in another man’s territory.
17 PBBR "Asi da ngate babangga, biarta' ni' babangga ka sadant' Tuhan." BSB BSB: Rather, “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”
18 PBBR Sabab, inya' sok da ngarania' adup'a sadi da tabukti tahan uji, Malaint' sok da Tuhan ngarania.' BSB BSB: For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
