PBBR Jabat kati nolak umat-A', da laka gatn milih-A' umpatn pamule. Diu ta imu' kati pane jai da Kitab Suci muji tentang Elia, waktu ni' nyabong Israel wak Jabata? BSB BSB: God did not reject His people, whom He foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says about Elijah, how he appealed to God against Israel:
PBBR "Tuhan, ayo' a' laka ngamis nabi-nabi-Mu, ayo' a' laka ngaruntuh ta mezbah-mezbah-Mu, ge hanya adup iko' sadi da maseh idup, ge ayo' a' ngate ngamiskit." BSB BSB: “Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars. I am the only one left, and they are seeking my life as well”?
PBBR Ao' tapi, jai wat a' ilahi da gatn mangkatn wak a'? "Iko' maseh mambiar a' 7.000 sok yak-Ko', da kati suah sujud nyambah wak Baal." BSB BSB: And what was the divine reply to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
PBBR Lahdakoh uga saat diah, ani barang sisa da gatn milih ba dasarkan anugerah. BSB BSB: In the same way, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.
PBBR Ao' tapi, jika berdasarkan anugerah, maka kati agi berdasarkan perbuatan, sabab jika lah dakoh anugerah kati agi jadi anugerah. BSB BSB: And if it is by grace, then it is no longer by works. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.
PBBR Lalu langkina? Bangsa Israel gagal kaatn jai da gatn najo a', tapi ayo' a' da gatn milih justru ampud a', sementara da laitn laka mengaras ate a' BSB BSB: What then? What Israel was seeking, it failed to obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened,
PBBR samu ani gatn nulis: "Jabata mangkatn ayo' a' roh tinno', matu da kati kat mile, ge rajak da kati bisa dangah, sampe ano diah." BSB BSB: as it is written: “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see, and ears that could not hear, to this very day.”
PBBR Ge Daud nyansana: "BIar ta meje perjamuan ayo' a' jadi aler ge bangkaru, jadi tutor sook, ge malas yak ayo' a.' BSB BSB: And David says: “May their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution to them.
PBBR Biar ta matu ayo' a' gatn nutup supaya ayo' a' kati bisa mile, ge tungguh ayo' a' gatn nga bongkok tarus menerus." BSB BSB: May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever.”
PBBR Jadi, iko' mansikat, diu ta ayo' a' ta singkak supaya jantu? Sekali-kali kati! Ao' tapi, kat pelangaran ayo' a', keselamatan nga utukng wak bangsa-bangsa inya Yahudi, supaya umas ayo' a' cemburu. BSB BSB: I ask then, did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Certainly not! However, because of their trespass, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous.
PBBR Sabab, jika pelangaran ayo' a' jadi kekayaan yak dunia, ge kegagalan ayo' a' jadi kekayaan yak bangsa-bangsa inya Yahudi, maka labih-labih agi kesempurnaan ayo' a'! BSB BSB: But if their trespass means riches for the world, and their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!
PBBR Mati' ako' ngansana wak imu', hei bangsa-bangsa inya Yahudi, justru karna ako' anilah rasulyak bangsa-bangsa inya Yahudi, iko' memuliakan pelayanako', BSB BSB: I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry
PBBR supaya iko' kaatn umas age sebangsako' cemburu, ge nyelamatkan maningan sok umpat ayo' a.' BSB BSB: in the hope that I may provoke my own people to jealousy and save some of them.
PBBR Sabab, jika ayo' a' nolak a' bararti pendamaian ka dunia, jai bak arti penerimaan ayo' a' selain umpatn idup umpatn antara da kabis? BSB BSB: For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
PBBR Jika roti pamule anilah kudus, samaan adonan anilah kudus. Ge jika uhat anilah kudus, maka saka-saka a' uga kudus. BSB BSB: If the first part of the dough is holy, so is the whole batch; if the root is holy, so are the branches.
PBBR Ao tapi, jika mani teng daat laka gatn mata', ge imu, da secara anilah tunas liar da gatn nyagkok ka antara ayo' a' ge turut kaatn bagian sadatn uhat ge gatah batak Zaitun. BSB BSB: Now if some branches have been broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others to share in the nourishment of the olive root,
PBBR Usah sombong bah ta hadap daat-daat dakoh. Tapi jika imu' sumbong, ingat ta bahwa inya imu' da nahan uhat, tapi uhat da nahan imu.' BSB BSB: do not boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.
PBBR Mungkin imu' ao' nyansana, "Daat-daat dakoh gatn mata supaya iko' kaatn gatn nyangko a." BSB BSB: You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.”
PBBR Dakoh batol! Ayo' a' gatn mata karna kati pacaya ayo' a', tapi imu' agutn tegak karna. Usahlah sumbong, tapi buutlah BSB BSB: That is correct: They were broken off because of unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid.
PBBR Sabab jika Jabata kati sayang ge daat-daat asli, Ni uga kati ao' nyayang imu.' BSB BSB: For if God did not spare the natural branches, He will certainly not spare you either.
PBBR Kat karna dakoh, mile ta kebaikan ge kakarasan Jabata; kakakarasan wak ayo' a' da nga jantu, tapi kebaikan-A' wak imu' jika imu tatap madi ka sadat kebaikan-A'. JIka kati, imu' uga ao' gatn nyantak. BSB BSB: Take notice, therefore, of the kindness and severity of God: severity to those who fell, but kindness to you, if you continue in His kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
PBBR Ge ayo' a' uga, jika ayo' a' kati tarus-menerus sadatn da kati pasti a', ayo' a' ao' gatn nyangkok karna Jabataba kuasa yak menyangkok a' ayo' a' agi. BSB BSB: And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
PBBR Sabab, jika imu' laka gatn nyantakumpat jai da secara alami anilah batak Zaitun liar ge gatn nyangkok a' wak batak zaitu da gatn mura, da saling melawan nige' sifatmu', kati bak terlebih agi ayo' a' da anilah daat asli ao' gatn nyangkok ka batak zaitun ayo' a' sadi? BSB BSB: For if you were cut from a wild olive tree, and contrary to nature were grafted into one that is cultivated, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
PBBR Nige' ladakoh, samaan sok Israel ao gatn nyelamat a'. Samu ani gatn nulis, "Panabus ao' utukng umpat Sion, ge Ni ao' nyingkir kefasikan umpatn Yakub. BSB BSB: And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will remove godlessness from Jacob.
PBBR Ge diahlah pajanjian-Ko' nige' ayo' a', waktu Iko' nantat duse-duse ayo' a'" BSB BSB: And this is My covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
PBBR Sabab anugerah ge panggilan Jabatakati kaatn gatn ngabatal a.' BSB BSB: For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable.
PBBR Sabab, samu nige' imuda idu kati taat ka Jabata, tapi da mati' laka narima pamase karna ayo' a' da kati taat', BSB BSB: Just as you who formerly disobeyed God have now received mercy through their disobedience,
PBBR Lah dakoh uga ayo' a' mati' kati taat supaya kat pamase Jabata da laka gatn nampalak wak imu' ayo' a' uga ao' kaatn uga pamase. BSB BSB: so they too have now disobeyed, in order that they too may now receive mercy through the mercy shown to you.
PBBR Sabab, Jabata laka mana' a' ayo' a' samaan sadatn da ka kati taat a' supaya Ni' kaatn nuju a' pamase-A' waksamaan sok. Pujian yak Jabata. BSB BSB: For God has consigned everyone to disobedience so that He may have mercy on everyone.
PBBR "Sabab, asi bak da bisa panane pikiran Tuhan? Ato, asibak da kaatn mangkat-A' nasihat?" BSB BSB: “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor?”
PBBR "Ato, asi bah da laka mangkatn barang wak-A' katinga dakoh, ge arus gatn balas kat-A'?" BSB BSB: “Who has first given to God, that God should repay him?”
PBBR Sabab sagale barang anilah umpat Ini', ge kat Ini', ge wak Ini'. Bagi Ini'lah kamulian sampe salama-lama a'! Amin. BSB BSB: For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen.
