3 PBBR Ato kati bak imu pane' bahwa ite samaan da laka gatn baptis ka sadatn Yesus Kristus laka gatn batis a' ka sadatn pangkabis-A'? BSB BSB: Or aren’t you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?
4 PBBR Karna dakoh, ite laka gatn ngubur a' samahu-mahu Ini' ka waktu ite gatn baptis ka sadatn pangkabis-A; supaya samu' ge Yesus da gatn bangkit a' umpatn antara sok kabis lewat kemuliaan Bapa, ite uga boleh bajalatn sadatn pembaharuan idup. BSB BSB: We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.
5 PBBR Sabab, jika ite laka gatn nyatuka' samahu-A ka sadatn keserupaan pangkabis-A, ite pasti uga ao' gatn nyatu a' sadatn keserupaan ka pangkidup-A.' BSB BSB: For if we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection.

BSB BSB: We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.

8 PBBR Mati', jika ite laka kabis samahu Kristus, ite pacaya bahwa ite uga ao' idup samahu nige'-A.' BSB BSB: Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him.
9 PBBR Ite pane bahwa Kristus da laka gatn mangkidup a' umpatn antara sok kabis kati ao' kabis agi; maut kati agi ba kuasa samo' Ini.' BSB BSB: For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has dominion over Him.
10 PBBR Sabab, ao' hal kabis-A', Ini' kabis tahadap duse sakali yak selama a', tapi ao' hal idup-A' dakoh, ni' idup yak Jabata. BSB BSB: The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God.
11 PBBR Ladakohlah adupmu', imu' arus nyyadari bahwa adupmu' laka kabis terhadap duse, ge idup yak Jabata ka sadatn Kristus Yesus. BSB BSB: So you too must count yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
12 PBBR Karna dakoh, usahlah mambiar a' duse menguasai unganmu' da fana sehingga imu' taat terhadap jai da gatn ngate. BSB BSB: Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires.
13 PBBR Ge, usah pula nyerah a' anggota-anggota unganmu' ka duse sebagai alat dajahe. Ao' tapi, nyerah a' lah adupmu' ka Jabata sebagai da idup umpatn antara da kabis, ge angota-anggota unganmu' sebagai alat kabenaran Jabata. BSB BSB: Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness.
14 PBBR Sabab, duse kati ao' ba kuasa samo'mu' karna imu' kati agi idup ka saroh Hukum Taurat tapi ka saroh anugerah. Hamba kebenaran BSB BSB: For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
15 PBBR Jadi, jai da arus ite ngaraje? Jaikah ite ao' umas duse karna kati idup kasaroh hukum Taurat, tapi kasaroh anugerah? Tentu saja kati! BSB BSB: What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Certainly not!
16 PBBR Imu pasti pane bahwa ketika imu mangkatn adupmu sebagai budak da taat ka anihal ato sook, imu jadi budak yak pihak da imu taati dakoh; bait ka duse da mimpinmu' nuju maut, ato ka ketaatan da ao' mimpinmu' nuju kebenaran. BSB BSB: Do you not know that when you offer yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves to the one you obey, whether you are slaves to sin leading to death, or to obedience leading to righteousness?
17 PBBR Ao' tapi, syukur ka Jabata bahwa imu' da idu anilah budak duse, mati' laka jadi taat sepenuh ate ka pokok-pokok pengajaran da laka gatn ngajat ka imu', BSB BSB: But thanks be to God that, though you once were slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were committed.
18 PBBR ge karna imu' laka gatn bebaskan umpatn' duse, imu jadi budak kebenaran. BSB BSB: You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
19 PBBR Iko' nyansana ngiak istilah samu talino karna kelemahan dagingmu'. Sabab, samu ge idu imu' mangkatn angota-anggotamu' sebagai budak kenajisan ge kejahatan da berakibat ka kejahatan da rabeh jauh, mati' mangkatnlah angota-anggotamu' jadi hamba kebenaran da ba ujung ka pengudusan. BSB BSB: I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to escalating wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness.
20 PBBR Sabab, ketika imu' maseh jadi budak duse, imu' bebas umpatn kebenaran. BSB BSB: For when you were slaves to sin, you were free of obligation to righteousness.
21 PBBR Namun, keuntungan jai da imu' kaatn umpatn hal-hal da tolodiah umasmu' mangun dakoh? Sabab, akhir umaptn samaan hal dakoh anilah maut. BSB BSB: What fruit did you reap at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? The outcome of those things is death.
22 PBBR Namun mati', ngala gatn bebas a' umpatn duse ge laka gatn hamba a' kat Jabata, imu' katn buah samo' kesucian ge akir a' anilah idup da kekal. BSB BSB: But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the fruit you reap leads to holiness, and the outcome is eternal life.
23 PBBR Sabab upah duse anilah maut, tapi karunia Jabata anilah idup da kekal sadatn Yesus Kristus, Tuhan ite. BSB BSB: For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
