BSB BSB: Therefore, my brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit to God.

BSB BSB: For when we lived according to the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in our bodies, bearing fruit for death.
6 PBBR Tapi, mati' ite' nga gatnngabebas umpatn Hukum Taurat, nga kabis tarhadap jai da idu' ninggo' ite' singge ite' mati' malayan sadatn kaadaan bahu nurut Roh, inya nurut hukum dama da tatulis. BSB BSB: But now, having died to what bound us, we have been released from the law, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.
7 PBBR Sak ladakoh, jailah da ao' te' muji'? Anita Hukum Taurat dakoh duse? Nyakali-kali kati'! Sabalik a', iko' kati' ao' ngarati rati umpatn ngate umpu' da sok lain umpu' sak Hukum Taurat kati' muji' a', "Iya' ngate umpu'." BSB BSB: What then shall we say? Is the law sin? Certainly not! Indeed, I would not have been mindful of sin if not for the law. For I would not have been aware of coveting if the law had not said, “Do not covet.”
8 PBBR Tapi, duse naap kasampatan nabo' parintah dakoh ya' ngasel bamacam da gatnngate sadatn adupko'; sabab tampa Hukum Taurat duse ao' kabis. BSB BSB: But sin, seizing its opportunity through the commandment, produced in me every kind of covetous desire. For apart from the law, sin is dead.
9 PBBR Idu' iko' idup tsmps Hukum Taurat, tatapi jangkah hukum dakoh utukng, duse jadi idup ge' iko' kabis; BSB BSB: Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died.
10 PBBR ge' parintah diah, da saharus a' minsakng wa' idup, malah mimpinko' wa' maut. BSB BSB: So I discovered that the very commandment that was meant to bring life actually brought death.
11 PBBR Sabab, duse naap kasampatan nabo' hukum dakoh ya' nipu ge' ngamisko.' BSB BSB: For sin, seizing its opportunity through the commandment, deceived me and through the commandment put me to death.
13 PBBR Sak ladakoh, anita da bait dakoh mangkutukng pangkabis bagiko'? Kati' ta! Duselah da ngasel maut ka sadatnko' nabo' jai da bait supaya nyata bahwa duse anilah duse, ge' nabo' hukum dakoh duse semangkin tile' da batol duse. BSB BSB: Did that which is good, then, become death to me? Certainly not! But in order that sin might be exposed as sin, it produced death in me through what was good, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful.
14 PBBR Sabab ite' pane bahwa Hukum Taurat sifat a' rohani, tatapi iko' sifat a' jasmani, gatnnyual ka saroh duse. BSB BSB: We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.
15 PBBR Sabab, iko' kati' ngarati jai da ko'umas karna iko' kati' bulah hal da ko' ngate, malah iko' bulah hal da ko'rusi.' BSB BSB: I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do. But what I hate, I do.
16 PBBR Tapi ba, sak iko' bulah hal da kati' ngate ko'bulah, iko' ngasetuju bahwa Hukum Taurat dakoh bait. BSB BSB: And if I do what I do not want to do, I admit that the law is good.
17 PBBR Jadi mati', inya agi' iko' da bulah a', tatapi duse da idup ka sadatnko.' BSB BSB: In that case, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
18 PBBR Sabab, iko' pane bahwa kati' ani hal bait da idup ka sadatnko', dakohta ka sadatn daginko', karna kehendak dakoh ani ka sadatn adupko', tatapi ya' bulah da bait dakoh kati.' BSB BSB: I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh; for I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
19 PBBR Sabab, iko' kati' bulah parbuatan bait da ko'kahendaki, tatapi iko' bulah hal da jahe', da kati' ko'kehendaki! BSB BSB: For I do not do the good I want to do. Instead, I keep on doing the evil I do not want to do.
20 PBBR Jadi, sak iko' bulah hal da kati' ko'kehendaki, dakoh inya sgi' iko' da bulah a', tatapi duse da idup ka sadatn iko.' BSB BSB: And if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
21 PBBR Jadi, iko' amput hukum diah, dakohta: Jangkah iko' ngate bulah hal da bait, kajahatan uga' ani samahuko.' BSB BSB: So this is the principle I have discovered: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me.
22 PBBR Sabab, iko' suka wa' hukum Jabata ka sadatn batinko', BSB BSB: For in my inner being I delight in God’s law.
23 PBBR tatapi iko' mile' hukum laitn sadatn anggota-anggota unganko' da bajuang malawan hukum akal budiko' ge' mennjarako' ka sadatn duse da ani sadatn anggota-anggota unganko. BSB BSB: But I see another law at work in my body, warring against the law of my mind and holding me captive to the law of sin that dwells within me.
24 PBBR Iko' talino celaka! Asilah da ao' nyalamat iko' umpatn ungan maut diah? BSB BSB: What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?
25 PBBR Syukur wa' Jabata nabo' Tuhan ite, Kristus Yesus! Jadi, nige' akal budiko', iko' malayan Jabata, tatapi nige' ungan jasmaniko' iko' malayan hukum duse. BSB BSB: Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with my mind I serve the law of God, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
