Luke 22 (MAL10)

1പെസഹ എന്ന പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാൾ അടുത്തു.Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching,

2അപ്പോൾ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും ജനത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയാൽ അവനെ ഒടുക്കുവാൻ ഉപായം അന്വേഷിച്ചു.and the chief priests and scribes were looking for a way to put Jesus to death, for they feared the people.

3എന്നാൽ പന്തിരുവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ഉള്ള ഈസ്കാര്യോത്തായൂദയിൽ സാത്താൻ കടന്നു:Then Satan entered Judas Iscariot, who was one of the Twelve.

4അവൻ ചെന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും പടനായകന്മാരോടും അവനെ അവർക്കു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്ന വഴിയെക്കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു.And Judas went to discuss with the chief priests and temple officers how he might betray Jesus to them.

5അവർ സന്തോഷിച്ചു അവന്നു ദ്രവ്യം കൊടുക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞൊത്തു.They were delighted and agreed to give him money.

6അവൻ വാക്കു കൊടുത്തു, പുരുഷാരം ഇല്ലാത്ത സമയത്തു അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാൻ തക്കം അന്വേഷിച്ചുപോന്നു.Judas consented, and began to look for an opportunity to betray Jesus to them in the absence of a crowd.

7പെസഹകുഞ്ഞാടിനെ അറുക്കേണ്ടുന്ന പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ പെരുനാൾ ആയപ്പോൾThen came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb was to be sacrificed.

8അവൻ പത്രൊസിനെയും യോഹന്നാനെയും അയച്ചു:നിങ്ങൾ പോയി നമുക്കു പെസഹ കഴിപ്പാൻ ഒരുക്കുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”

9ഞങ്ങൾ എവിടെ ഒരുക്കേണം എന്നു അവർ ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു:“Where do You want us to prepare it?” they asked.

10നിങ്ങൾ പട്ടണത്തിൽ എത്തുമ്പോൾ ഒരു കുടം വെള്ളം ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു ഒരു മനുഷ്യൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എതിർപെടും; അവൻ കടക്കുന്ന വീട്ടിലേക്കു പിൻചെന്നു വീട്ടുടയവനോടു:He answered, “When you enter the city, a man carrying a jug of water will meet you. Follow him to the house he enters,

11ഞാൻ എന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുമായി പെസഹ കഴിപ്പാനുള്ള ശാല എവിടെ എന്നു ഗുരു നിന്നോടു ചോദിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറവിൻ.and say to the owner of that house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with My disciples?’

12അവൻ വിരിച്ചൊരുക്കിയോരു വന്മാളിക കാണിച്ചുതരും; അവിടെ ഒരുക്കുവിൻ എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.And he will show you a large upper room, already furnished. Make preparations there.”

13അവർ പോയി തങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ കണ്ടു പെസഹ ഒരുക്കി.So they went and found it just as Jesus had told them. And they prepared the Passover.

14സമയം ആയപ്പോൾ അവൻ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരുമായി ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നു ഇരുന്നു.When the hour had come, Jesus reclined at the table with His apostles.

15അവൻ അവരോടു: ഞാൻ കഷ്ടം അനുഭവിക്കും മുമ്പെ ഈ പെസഹ നിങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ കഴിപ്പാൻ വാഞ്ഛയോടെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു.And He said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before My suffering.

16അതു ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിൽ നിവൃത്തിയാകുവോളം ഞാൻ ഇനി അതു കഴിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു എന്നുപറഞ്ഞു.For I tell you that I will not eat it again until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.”

17പിന്നെ പാനപാത്രം എടുത്തു വാഴ്ത്തി: ഇതു വാങ്ങി പങ്കിട്ടുകൊൾവിൻ.After taking the cup, He gave thanks and said, “Take this and divide it among yourselves.

18ദൈവരാജ്യം വരുവോളം ഞാൻ മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ അനുഭവം ഇന്നു മുതൽ കുടിക്കില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.For I tell you that I will not drink of the fruit of the vine from now on until the kingdom of God comes.”

19പിന്നെ അപ്പം എടുത്തു വാഴ്ത്തി നുറുക്കി അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തു:ഇതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി നല്കുന്ന എന്റെ ശരീരം; എന്റെ ഓർമ്മെക്കായി ഇതു ചെയ്വിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.And He took the bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

20അവ്വണ്ണം തന്നേ അത്താഴം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം അവൻ പാനപാത്രവും കൊടുത്തു: ഈ പാനപാത്രം നിങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി ചൊരിയുന്ന എന്റെ രക്തത്തിലെ പുതിയനിയമം ആകുന്നു.In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you.

21എന്നാൽ എന്നെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നവന്റെ കൈ എന്റെ അരികെ മേശപ്പുറത്തു ഉണ്ടു.Look! The hand of My betrayer is with Mine on the table.

22നിർണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ പോകുന്നു സത്യം; എങ്കിലും അവനെ കാണിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന്നു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.Indeed, the Son of Man will go as it has been determined, but woe to that man who betrays Him.”

23ഇതു ചെയ്വാൻ പോകുന്നവൻ തങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ആർ ആയിരിക്കും എന്നു അവർ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ ചോദിച്ചു തുടങ്ങി.Then they began to question among themselves which of them was going to do this.

24തങ്ങളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ആരെ ആകുന്നു വലിയവനായി എണ്ണേണ്ടതു എന്നതിനെച്ചൊല്ലി ഒരു തർക്കവും അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഉണ്ടായി.A dispute also arose among the disciples as to which of them should be considered the greatest.

26നിങ്ങളോ അങ്ങനെയല്ല; നിങ്ങളിൽ വലിയവൻ ഇളയവനെപ്പോലെയും നായകൻ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നവനെപ്പോലെയും ആകട്ടെ.But you shall not be like them. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who leads like the one who serves.

27ആരാകുന്നു വലിയവൻ? ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നിരിക്കുന്നവനോ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നവനോ? ഭക്ഷണത്തിന്നിരിക്കുന്നവനല്ലയോ? ഞാനോ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നവനെപ്പോലെ ആകുന്നു.For who is greater, the one who reclines at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines? But I am among you as one who serves.

28നിങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു എന്റെ പരീക്ഷകളിൽ എന്നോടുകൂടെ നിലനിന്നവർ.You are the ones who have stood by Me in My trials.

29എന്റെ പിതാവു എനിക്കു രാജ്യം നിയമിച്ചുതന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കും നിയമിച്ചു തരുന്നു.And I bestow on you a kingdom, just as My Father has bestowed one on Me,

30നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിൽ എന്റെ മേശയിങ്കൽ തിന്നുകുടിക്കയും സിംഹാസനങ്ങളിൽ ഇരുന്നു യിസ്രായേൽ ഗോത്രം പന്ത്രണ്ടിനെയും ന്യായം വിധിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.so that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

31ശിമോനേ, ശിമോനെ, സാത്താൻ നിങ്ങളെ കോതമ്പുപോലെ പാറ്റേണ്ടതിന്നു കല്പന ചോദിച്ചു.Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you like wheat.

32ഞാനോ നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസം പൊയ്പോകാതിരിപ്പാൻ നിനക്കു വേണ്ടി അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ നീ ഒരു സമയം തിരിഞ്ഞു വന്നശേഷം നിന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചുകൊൾക.But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith will not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

33അവൻ അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ തടവിലാകുവാനും മരിപ്പാനും ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.“Lord,” said Peter, “I am ready to go with You even to prison and to death.”

38കർത്താവേ, ഇവിടെ രണ്ടു വാൾ ഉണ്ടു എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു:മതി എന്നു അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.So they said, “Look, Lord, here are two swords.” “That is enough,” He answered.

39പിന്നെ അവൻ പതിവുപോലെ ഒലീവ് മലെക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി; ശിഷ്യന്മാരും അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു.Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed Him.

40ആ സ്ഥലത്തു എത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവൻ അവരോടു:നിങ്ങൾ പരീക്ഷയിൽ അകപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാൻ പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.When He came to the place, He told them, “Pray that you will not enter into temptation.”

41താൻ അവരെ വിട്ടു ഒരു കല്ലേറുദൂരത്തോളം വാങ്ങിപ്പോയി മുട്ടുകുത്തി;And He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, where He knelt down and prayed,

42പിതാവേ, നിനക്കു മനസ്സുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഈ പാനപാത്രം എങ്കൽ നിന്നു നീക്കേണമേ; എങ്കിലും എന്റെ ഇഷ്ടമല്ല നിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം തന്നെ ആകട്ടെ എന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.“Father, if You are willing, take this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done.”

43അവനെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഒരു ദൂതൻ അവന്നു പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.Then an angel from heaven appeared to Him and strengthened Him.

44പിന്നെ അവൻ പ്രാണവേദനയിലായി അതിശ്രദ്ധയോടെ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു; അവന്റെ വിയർപ്പു നിലത്തു വീഴുന്ന വലിയ ചോരത്തുള്ളിപോലെ ആയി.And in His anguish, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground.

45അവൻ പ്രാർത്ഥന കഴിഞ്ഞു എഴുന്നേറ്റു ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു, അവർ വിഷാദത്താൽ ഉറങ്ങുന്നതു കണ്ടു അവരോടു:When Jesus rose from prayer and returned to the disciples, He found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow.

46നിങ്ങൾ ഉറങ്ങുന്നതു എന്തു? പരീക്ഷയിൽ അകപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.“Why are you sleeping?” He asked. “Get up and pray so that you will not enter into temptation.”

47അവൻ സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ ഇതാ, ഒരു പുരുഷാരം; പന്തിരുവരിൽ ഒരുവനായ യൂദാ അവർക്കു മുന്നടന്നു യേശുവിനെ ചുംബിപ്പാൻ അടുത്തുവന്നു.While He was still speaking, a crowd arrived, led by the man called Judas, one of the Twelve. He approached Jesus to kiss Him.

49സംഭവിപ്പാൻ പോകുന്നതു അവന്റെ കൂടെയുള്ളവർ കണ്ടു: കർത്താവേ, ഞങ്ങൾ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വെട്ടേണമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.Those around Jesus saw what was about to happen and said, “Lord, should we strike with our swords?”

50അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ ദാസനെ വെട്ടി അവന്റെ വലത്തെ കാതു അറുത്തു.And one of them struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his right ear.

51അപ്പോൾ യേശു;ഇത്രെക്കു വിടുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവന്റെ കാതു തൊട്ടു സൗഖ്യമാക്കി.But Jesus answered, “No more of this!” And He touched the man’s ear and healed him.

52യേശു തന്റെ നേരെ വന്ന മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ പടനായകന്മാരോടും മൂപ്പന്മാരോടും: ഒരു കള്ളന്റെ നേരെ എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ വാളും വടിയുമായി പുറപ്പെട്ടുവന്നുവോ?Then Jesus said to the chief priests, temple officers, and elders who had come for Him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against an outlaw?

53ഞാൻ ദിവസേന ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടും എന്റെ നേരെ കൈ ഓങ്ങിയില്ല; എന്നാൽ ഇതു നിങ്ങളുടെ നാഴികയും ഇരുളിന്റെ അധികാരവും ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on Me. But this hour belongs to you and to the power of darkness.”

54അവർ അവനെ പിടിച്ചു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കൊണ്ടുപോയി; പത്രൊസും അകലം വിട്ടു പിൻചെന്നു.Then they seized Jesus, led Him away, and took Him into the house of the high priest. And Peter followed at a distance.

60മനുഷ്യാ, നീ പറയുന്നതു എനിക്കു തിരിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു പത്രൊസ് പറഞ്ഞു. അവൻ സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ പെട്ടെന്നു കോഴി കൂകി.“Man, I do not know what you are talking about,” Peter replied. And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed.

61അപ്പോൾ കർത്താവു തിരിഞ്ഞു പത്രൊസിനെ ഒന്നു നോക്കി: ഇന്നു കോഴി കൂകുംമുമ്പെ നീ മൂന്നുവട്ടം എന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറയും എന്നു കർത്താവു തന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു പത്രൊസു ഓർത്തുAnd the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word that the Lord had spoken to him: “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny Me three times.”

62പുറത്തിറങ്ങി അതിദുഃഖത്തോട കരഞ്ഞു.And he went outside and wept bitterly.

63യേശുവിനെ പിടിച്ചവർ അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു കണ്ണുകെട്ടി തല്ലി:The men who were holding Jesus began to mock Him and beat Him.

64പ്രവചിക്ക; നിന്നെ അടിച്ചവൻ ആർ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചുThey blindfolded Him and kept demanding, “Prophesy! Who hit You?”

65മറ്റു പലതും അവനെ ദുഷിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.And they said many other blasphemous things against Him.

66നേരം വെളുത്തപ്പോൾ ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരായ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും വന്നുകൂടി അവനെ ന്യായാധിപസംഘത്തിൽ വരുത്തി: നീ ക്രിസ്തു എങ്കിൽ ഞങ്ങളോടു പറക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.At daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and scribes, met together. They led Jesus into their Sanhedrin and said,

67അവൻ അവരോടു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞാൽ നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കയില്ല;“If You are the Christ, tell us.” Jesus answered, “If I tell you, you will not believe.

68ഞാൻ ചോദിച്ചാൽ ഉത്തരം പറയുകയുമില്ല.And if I ask you a question, you will not answer.

69എന്നാൽ ഇന്നുമുതൽ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ ദൈവശക്തിയുടെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.”

70എന്നാൽ നീ ദൈവപുത്രൻ തന്നെയോ എന്നു എല്ലാവരും ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു:നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതു ശരി; ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.So they all asked, “Are You then the Son of God?” He replied, “You say that I am.”

71അപ്പോൾ അവർ ഇനി സാക്ഷ്യംകൊണ്ടു നമുക്കു എന്തു ആവശ്യം? നാം തന്നേ അവന്റെ വാമൊഴി കേട്ടുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.“Why do we need any more testimony?” they declared. “We have heard it for ourselves from His own lips.”
