Genesis 9 (MEY)

1وبارك مولانا النبي نوح وأولادو وڮالهم: اثمرو واكثارو واملاو لارض.And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

2حيوانات لخلا اللي فلارض واطيور السما والزواحف وحوت لبحر كاملين لاهي يخافو منكم ويرهبوكم، بيهلي مولانا اعطاكم السلطة اعليهم.The fear and dread of you will fall on every living creature on the earth, every bird of the air, every creature that crawls on the ground, and all the fish of the sea. They are delivered into your hand.

3وكيف ما اعطيتكم الصدر لخظر كيفت اطعام لكم، ظرك عاطيكم الحيوانات.Everything that lives and moves will be food for you; just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you all things.

4يغير لا توكلو أي لحم مزال الدم فيه بيهلي الدم هوا اللي يمثل الحياة.But you must not eat meat with its lifeblood still in it.

5يغير دمكم انتوما لاهي انعاقب اعليه كل حيوان سفكو، واملي كل إنسان لاهي نكتلو اعلى حياة خوه لإنسان بيهلي هو كيفتو.And surely I will require the life of any man or beast by whose hand your lifeblood is shed. I will demand an accounting from anyone who takes the life of his fellow man:

6ومن يسفك الدم لإنسان لاهي ينسفك دمو، بيهلي مولانا خلڮ لإنسان اعلى شي من صيفاتو.Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood will be shed; for in His own image God has made mankind.

7يغير انتوما اثمرو واكثارو فلارض.But as for you, be fruitful and multiply; spread out across the earth and multiply upon it.”

8وكلم مولانا النبي نوح وامعاه أولادو وڮالّو:Then God said to Noah and his sons with him,

9آنا ظرك لاهي انعدل عهدي امعاكم وامع نسلكم اللي جاي اوراكم.“Behold, I now establish My covenant with you and your descendants after you,

10وامع كل مخلوق حي امعاكم من الطيور والحيوانات اللي يُربّاو وكل حيوانات لخلا، وكل اللي خاظ من السفينة وكل مخلوق حي اعلى لارض.and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock, and every beast of the earth—every living thing that came out of the ark.

11ولاهي انعدل عهدي امعاكم ولا تيت لاهي نسمح باعلن اتفرق مياه الطوفان كل مخلوق حي مرة اخرا، ولا تيت لاهي نسمح باعلن الطوفان يجي ويخسر لارض مرة اخرا.And I establish My covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

12وڮال مولانا: هاذي هي علامة العهد اللي لاهي انعدل بيني وبينكم وكل مخلوق حي امعاكم فكل لاجيال،And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between Me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:

13لاهي اندير خط الندية فالسما ويعود علامة العهد امبيني وامبين لارض.I have set My rainbow in the clouds, and it will be a sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.

14وإلين انمشّي السحاب فوڮ لارض ويظهر خط الندية فالسما،Whenever I form clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,

15نتذكر العهد اللي امبيني وبينكم وامع كل نوع من مخلوق حي، ولا تتحول المياه شور طوفان يهلك كل مخلوق حي.I will remember My covenant between Me and you and every living creature of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.

16وإلين يظهر خط الندية فالسما لاهي انشوفو ونتذكر العهد اللي لاهي يدوم إلى الأبد امبيني وامبين المخلوقات الحية كاملين اللي اعلى لارض.And whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of every kind that is on the earth.”

17وڮال مولانا للنبي نوح: هاذي هي علامة العهد اللي عدلتو امع كل مخلوق حي اعلى لارض.So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between Me and every creature on the earth.”

18هاذو هوما أولاد نوح اللي خاظو من السفينة: سام وحام ويافث. وحام هو بو كنعان.The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And Ham was the father of Canaan.

19هوما أولاد النبي نوح الثلاثة ونسلهم هو اللي انتشر فكل جيهات لارض.These three were the sons of Noah, and from them the whole earth was populated.

20واشتغل النبي نوح فلحريثة واحرث اصدر العنب اللي يُعدل منو عصير العنب.Now Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard.

21واشرب من عصير العنب واسكر واتعرا فخيمتو.But when he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and uncovered himself inside his tent.

22وشاف حام بو كنعان عورة بوه وامشا وعلم اخوتو.And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father’s nakedness and told his two brothers outside.

23واڮبظو سام ويافث حولي وداروه اعلى اكتافهم ودخلو شور بوهم النبي نوح فالخيمتو، وهوما كانو ماشين اعلى لورا وسترو عورة بوهم. وكانو وجوهتهم صادين اعلى الجيهة لخرا اياك ما يشوفو عورة بوهم.Then Shem and Japheth took a garment and placed it across their shoulders, and walking backward, they covered their father’s nakedness. Their faces were turned away so that they did not see their father’s nakedness.

24وإلين اوعا النبي نوح من سكرو واعرف اللي عدلّو ولو الصغير،When Noah awoke from his drunkenness and learned what his youngest son had done to him,

25ڮال: ملعون كنعان ولاهي يعود أحقر من اعبيد اخوتو.he said, “Cursed be Canaan! A servant of servants shall he be to his brothers.”

26وڮال املي: يا ربي وإلهي بارك سام واجعل كنعان عبد لو.He also declared: “Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the servant of Shem.

27ووسع حدود يافث، ويسكن فاخيام سام ويعود كنعان عبد لو.May God expand the territory of Japheth; may he dwell in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be his servant.”

28وعاش النبي نوح عاڮب الطوفان 350 سنة.After the flood, Noah lived 350 years.

29وإلين اتوفا النبي نوح كان عندو 950 سنة.So Noah lived a total of 950 years, and then he died.
