1Ntangu Yesu talaka nkonga ya bantu yina kwizaka, yandi yulukaka na mongo. Yandi vwandaka, mpe bilandi ya yandi kwendaka pene-pene ya yandi.When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain and sat down. His disciples came to Him,

2Yandi bandaka na kulongisa bawu mutindu yayi:and He began to teach them, saying:

3Kyese na bayina zaba ti bawu kele bamputu na kimpeve, samu ti Kimfumu ya Mazulu kele ya bawu!“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4Kyese na bayina ke na kudila, samu ti Nzambi ke bomba bawu!Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

5Kyese na bayina kele ya kulembama, samu ti bawu ke kuzwa yinsi yina Nzambi pesaka nsilulu!Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

6Kyese na bayina ke na nsatu mpe mpwila ya kusala mambu ya kudedama, samu ti Nzambi ke fulusa bawu na bima yina ke na bawu nsatu!Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

7Kyese na bayina ke na kutala bampangi kyadi, samu ti Nzambi mpe ke tala bawu kyadi!Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

8Kyese na bayina ke na ntima ya kuvedila, samu ti bawu ke tala Nzambi!Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

9Kyese na bayina ke nataka kizunu na kati ya bantu, samu ti Nzambi ke bokila bawu bana ya yandi!Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

10Kyese na bayina ba ke talisaka mpasi samu na mambu ya kudedama yina bawu ke salaka, samu ti Kimfumu ya Mazulu kele ya bawu!Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11Kyese na beno ntangu bantu ke fingaka beno, ke talisaka beno mpasi, mpe ke tubaka mambu nyonso ya yimbi mpe ya luvunu na nzutu ya beno samu na munu!Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me.

12Beno yangalala, mpe beno vwanda na kyese samu ti beno ke kuzwa musendo ya nene na mazulu. Ya tsyelika, ni mutindu yina mpe ba talisaka mpasi mimbikudi yina zingaka ntete beno butuka.Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets before you.

13«Beno kele mungwa ya yinza. Kana mungwa ke dyaka ve na luwu, wapi mutindu ba lenda kuvutula yawu luwu? Yawu ke dyaka ve mfunu. Ba ke losa yawu na ngaanda, mpe bantu ke dyata yawu.You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its savor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.

14«Beno kele nsemo ya yinza. Mbanza yina kele ya kutungama na zulu ya mongo lenda kuvwanda ve ya kubumbama.You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

15Ba ke namisaka ve mwinda samu na kutula yawu na yisi ya kantini. Kasi ba ke tulaka yawu na zulu ya kitentokolo ya mwinda, samu ti yawu pesa nsemo na bayina nyonso kele na kati ya yinzo.Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a basket. Instead, they set it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.

16Mutindu mosi mpe, nsemo ya beno fwana kulezima na ntwala ya bantu, samu ti bawu tala bisalu ya mbote yina beno ke na kusala, mpe ti bawu kembisa Tata ya beno yina kele na mazulu.»In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

17«Beno fwana kubanza ve ti mu me kwiza samu na kukatula Misiku ya Moyize to dibuku ya Mimbikudi. Mu me kwiza ve samu na kukatula yawu, kasi samu na kulungisa yawu.Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to abolish them, but to fulfill them.

18Ya tsyelika, mu ke na kuzabisa beno: Ntangu nyonso yina zulu na ntoto ke vwanda, ata kisono ya fyoti to mwa kima ya kulutila fyoti lenda katuka na Misiku. Ee, yawu ke vwanda mutindu yina tii na nsuka ya yinza.For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

19Ni yawu yina, muntu yina ke manga na kutumama ata na Musiku mosi, mpe ke longisa bantu ya nkaka na kusala mutindu yina, ke vwanda muntu ya nsuka na kati ya Kimfumu ya Mazulu. Kasi muntu yina ke tumama na misiku, mpe ke longisa bantu ya nkaka na kusala mutindu yina, ke vwanda muntu ya ntete na kati ya Kimfumu ya Mazulu.So then, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do likewise will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever practices and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20Ya tsyelika, mu ke na kuzabisa beno: Kana beno lutila ve milongisi ya Misiku mpe ba-Falisye na kutumama na misiku, beno ke kota ve na Kimfumu ya Mazulu.»For I tell you that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

21«Beno kuwaka ti ba tubaka na bankooko ya beto: “Kufwa muntu ve.” Konso muntu yina ke kufwa mpangi me lunga na kufunduswa na ntwala ya bazuzi.You have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘Do not murder’ and ‘Anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’

22Kasi munu, mu ke na kuzabisa beno: Konso muntu yina ke vwanda na nkele na mpangi ya yandi me lunga na kufunduswa na ntwala ya bazuzi. Muntu ke tuba na mpangi “kizoba” me lunga na kufunduswa na ntwala ya kimvuka ya bakuluntu ya ba-Zwife. Muntu yina ke finga mpangi ya yandi “kilawu” me lunga na kukwenda na mbungulu.But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, ‘Raca,’ will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be subject to the fire of hell.

23Kana nge me kwenda na kiyokolo ya minkayulu samu na kupesa munkayulu na Nzambi, mpe kana nge bambuka moyo ti nge ke na dyambu na mpangi ya nge,So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,

24bika munkayulu ya nge kuna na ntwala ya kiyokolo ya minkayulu, mpe kwenda kuwisana ntete na mpangi ya nge. Na manima, vutuka mpe pesa munkayulu ya nge na Nzambi.leave your gift there before the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

25«Kana nge ke na kukwenda na sika ya bazuzi kintwadi na muntu yina me funda nge, sala nswalu na kuwisana na yandi ntangu beno ke ntete na nzila, kana ve yandi ke yekula nge na sika ya bazuzi. Bazuzi ke pesa nge na binwani, mpe ba ke tula nge na boloko.Reconcile quickly with your adversary, while you are still on the way to court. Otherwise, he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.

26Ya tsyelika, mu ke na kuzabisa nge: Nge lenda kubasika ve na boloko kana nge manisa ve na kufuta mfuka nyonso ya nge tii na pata ya suka.»Truly I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.

27«Beno kuwaka ti ba tubaka: “Kusala kinsuza ve.”You have heard that it was said, ‘Do not commit adultery.’

28Kasi munu, mu ke na kuzabisa beno mutindu yayi: Muntu yina ke tala kento ya ngana na nsatu ya kusosa yandi, me sala yimeni kinsuza na kento yina na kati ya ntima.But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

29Kana disu ya nge ya lubakala ke na kubwisa nge na masumu, katula yawu mpe losa yawu ntama: Ya me lutila mbote na nge na kuvwanda ve na kinama mosi ya nzutu ya nge. Kana ve, ba ke losa nzutu nyonso ya nge na mbungulu.If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

30Kana diboko ya nge ya lubakala ke na kubwisa nge na masumu, katula yawu mpe losa yawu ntama: Ya me lutila mbote na nge na kuvwanda ve na kinama mosi ya nzutu ya nge. Kana ve, nzutu ya nge nyonso ke kwenda na mbungulu.»And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to depart into hell.

31«Ba tubaka mpe: Bakala yina ke katula kento ya yandi na makwela fwana kupesa yandi mukanda yina ke na kulakisa ti makwela me kufwa.It has also been said, ‘Whoever divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’

32Kasi munu, mu ke na kuzabisa beno: Konso bakala yina ke katula kento ya yandi na makwela samu na dyambu yina kele ve ya kuvukisa mfulu na bakala ya nkaka, ke tumisa kento yina na kusala kinsuza. Bakala yina ke kwela yandi, ke sala mpe kinsuza na yandi.»But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, brings adultery upon her. And he who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

33«Beno kuwaka mpe ti ba tubaka na bankooko ya beto: “Kuzenga ve ndefi ya luvunu. Kasi sala mambu yina nge pesaka nsilulu ntangu nge zengaka ndefi na ntwala ya Mfumu.”Again, you have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill your vows to the Lord.’

34Kasi munu, mu ke na kuzabisa beno: Kuzenga ve ndefi ata na nkumbu ya mazulu samu ti ya kele kiti ya kintinu ya Nzambi.But I tell you not to swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne;

35Nge fwana mpe kuzenga ve ndefi na nkumbu ya ntoto samu ti ya kele kisika yina Nzambi ke tulaka makulu ya yandi, to na nkumbu ya Yelusalemi samu ti ya kele mbanza ya Ntinu ya nene.or by the earth, for it is His footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.

36Nge fwana mpe kuzenga ve ndefi na nkumbu ya yintu ya nge samu ti nge lenda ve kukitula nsuki mosi ya nge na kukuma mpembe to ndombe.Nor should you swear by your head, for you cannot make a single hair white or black.

37Nge fwana kutuba kaka “Mu me ndima” to “Mu me manga”. Mambu nyonso ya nkaka yina bantu ke bwelaka ke katukaka na Mfumu ya Yimbi.»Simply let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ Anything more comes from the evil one.

38«Beno kuwaka mpe ti ba tubaka: “Kana muntu tobola nge disu, nge mpe tobola yandi disu. Kana yandi katula nge dinu, nge mpe katula yandi dinu.”You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye and tooth for tooth.’

39Kasi munu, mu ke na kuzabisa beno: Nge fwana kuvutula ve yimbi na muntu yina me sala nge yimbi. Kana muntu bula nge mbata na dibundi ya lubakala, pesa yandi mpe dibundi ya nkaka.But I tell you not to resist an evil person. If someone slaps you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also;

40Kana muntu zola kunata nge na ntwala ya bazuzi samu na kubaka kinkuti ya nge, bika yandi baka mpe kiyunga ya nge.if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well;

41Kana muntu ke na kutumisa nge na ngolo na kunata kizitu na Milyose mosi, sala yawu Bamilyose zole kintwadi na yandi.and if someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.

42Kabula na muntu yina ke na kulomba nge kima. Kumanga ve na kudefisa kima na muntu yina ke na zola kudefa nge yawu.»Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

43«Beno kuwaka ti ba tubaka: “Nge fwana kuzola mpangi ya nge, mpe kuyina mbeni ya nge.”You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor’ and ‘Hate your enemy.’

44Kasi munu, mu ke na kuzabisa beno: Beno zola bambeni ya beno, mpe beno sambidila bayina ke talisaka beno mpasi.But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

45Na yina, beno ke vwanda bana ya Tata ya beno yina kele na mazulu. Ya tsyelika, yandi ke basisaka ntangu samu na bantu ya mbote mpe ya yimbi. Yandi ke nokisaka mvula samu na bantu ya kudedama mpe ya kudedama ve.that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

46Kana beno ke zolaka kaka bayina ke zolaka beno, wapi musendo beno lenda kuzwa na sika ya Nzambi? Ya tsyelika, bilokoti-mpaku mpe ke salaka mutindu yina.If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Do not even tax collectors do the same?

47Kana beno ke pesaka mbote kaka na bampangi ya beno, wapi dyambu ya ngitukulu beno ke salaka? Ya tsyelika, bayina mpe zaba Nzambi ve ke salaka mutindu yina.And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even Gentiles do the same?

48Beno vwanda bantu ya kulunga mutindu Tata ya beno yina ke na mazulu kele ya kulunga.»Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
