2 IEV അവൻ മഹാസർപ്പത്തെ പിടികൂടി. ആ മഹാസർപ്പം സാത്താനും ദുഷ്ടനുമായ പുരാതന പാമ്പാകുന്നു. ദൂതന്‍ അവനെ ചങ്ങലകൊണ്ട് ബന്ധിച്ചു. ആയിരം വർഷത്തേക്ക് ചങ്ങല അഴിക്കുവാൻ കഴിയുകയില്ല. BSB BSB: He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

BSB BSB: Then I saw the thrones, and those seated on them had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or hands. And they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
5 IEV മരിച്ചവരെ വീണ്ടും ജീവിക്കുവാൻ ദൈവം ഇട വരുത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ ഉയര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവരായിരുന്നു അവര്‍. മരണമടഞ്ഞ ബാക്കി വിശ്വാസികൾ ആ ആയിരം വർഷങ്ങൾ തീരുന്നതുവരെ വീണ്ടും ജീവിച്ചില്ല. BSB BSB: The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years were complete. This is the first resurrection.
6 IEV ഈ ഒന്നാമത് ഉയര്‍ത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവരില്‍ ദൈവം പ്രസാദിക്കും. ദൈവം അവരെ വിശുദ്ധരായി പരിഗണിക്കും. അവർ രണ്ടാമതും മരിക്കുകയില്ല. പകരം, അവർ മശിഹായേയും ദൈവത്തേയും സേവിക്കുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരും, ആ ആയിരം വർഷം അവർ മശിഹായുടെകൂടെ ഭരിക്കുന്നവരും ആയിരിക്കും. 12 IEV മരിച്ചുപോയവരും ഇപ്പോൾ വീണ്ടും ജീവിക്കുന്നവരുമായവര്‍ സിംഹാസനത്തിനു മുന്നിൽ നിൽക്കുന്നതായി ഞാൻ കണ്ടു. അവരില്‍ പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ടവരും പ്രാധാന്യമില്ലാത്തവരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു! ദൈവം മനുഷ്യരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ തുറന്നു. നിത്യജീവൻ ഉള്ളവരുടെ പേരുകൾ ദൈവം എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന ജീവന്‍റെ പുസ്തകം എന്ന മറ്റൊരു പുസ്തകവും തുറന്നു. പുസ്തകങ്ങളിൽ അവരവര്‍ ചെയ്തത് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നതിന് അനുസരണമായി ജീവിച്ചവരെ ദൈവം ന്യായം വിധിച്ചു. BSB BSB: And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne. And books were opened, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books.
13 IEV ദൈവത്തിന്‍റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിനു മുന്നിൽ നിൽക്കാനായി മൃതദേഹങ്ങൾ കടലിൽ അടക്കം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടവര്‍ വീണ്ടും ജീവിച്ചു. സിംഹാസനത്തിനു മുന്നിൽ നിൽക്കുവാനായി, കരയിൽ അടക്കം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാവരും വീണ്ടും ജീവിച്ചു. ഓരോരുത്തരും ചെയ്തതിന് ഒത്തവിധം ദൈവം ഓരോരുത്തരേയും വിധിച്ചു. BSB BSB: The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds.
15 IEV ദൈവം നിത്യജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ പേരുകൾ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിൽ പേര് ഇല്ലാത്തവരെയും ദൈവം തീപ്പൊയ്കയിലേക്ക് വലിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.
