BSB BSB: So David inquired of God, “Should I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?” “Go,” replied the LORD, “for I will deliver them into your hand.”

BSB BSB: So David and his men went up to Baal-perazim, where he defeated the Philistines and said, “Like a bursting flood, God has burst out against my enemies by my hand.” So they called that place Baal-perazim.

BSB BSB: So David again inquired of God, who answered him, “Do not march up after them, but circle around them and attack them in front of the balsam trees.
15 ULB അവർ അണിയണിയായി നടക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദം ബാഖാവൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ മുകളിൽകൂടി കേട്ടാൽ നീ പടയ്ക്കു പുറപ്പെടുക; ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെ സൈന്യത്തെ തോല്പിക്കുവാൻ ദൈവം നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; BSB BSB: As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, move out to battle, because this will mean that God has gone out before you to strike the camp of the Philistines.”
16 ULB ദൈവം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ദാവീദ് ചെയ്തു; അവർ ഗിബെയോൻ മുതൽ ഗേസെർവരെ ഫെലിസ്ത്യ സൈന്യത്തെ തോല്പിച്ചു. BSB BSB: So David did as God had commanded him, and they struck down the army of the Philistines all the way from Gibeon to Gezer.
17 ULB ദാവീദിന്റെ കീർത്തി സകലദേശങ്ങളിലും വ്യാപിച്ചു. യഹോവ, ദാവീദിനെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഭയം സർവ്വജാതികൾക്കും വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. BSB BSB: And David’s fame went out into every land, and the LORD caused all nations to fear him.
