11. 11ULBദാവീദ് പുരോഹിതന്മാരായ സാദോക്കിനെയും അബ്യാഥാരിനെയും ഊരീയേൽ, അസായാവ്, യോവേൽ, ശെമയ്യാവ്, എലീയേൽ, അമ്മീനാദാബ് എന്നീ ലേവ്യരെയും വിളിപ്പിച്ചു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞത്:BSBBSB: David summoned the priests Zadok and Abiathar and the Levites Uriel, Asaiah, Joel, Shemaiah, Eliel, and Amminadab.

You and your relatives must consecrate yourselves so that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it.
13. 13ULBആദിയിൽ നിങ്ങൾ അത് ചെയ്തില്ല,അതുകൊണ്ടു നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നമ്മെ ശിക്ഷിച്ചു; അന്ന് നാം അവനെ നിയമപ്രകാരമല്ലല്ലോ അന്വേഷിച്ചത്BSBBSB: It was because you Levites were not with us the first time that the LORD our God burst forth in anger against us. For we did not consult Him about the proper order.”
14. 14ULBഅങ്ങനെ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ തങ്ങളെ തന്നേ ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.BSBBSB: So the priests and Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel.
15. 15ULBലേവ്യരുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ യഹോവയുടെ വചനപ്രകാരം മോശെ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പെട്ടകത്തെ അതിന്റെ തണ്ടുകൾ തങ്ങളുടെ ചുമലിൽ വച്ചു ചുമന്നു.BSBBSB: And the Levites carried the ark of God on their shoulders with the poles, as Moses had commanded in accordance with the word of the LORD.

Obed-edom and Jehiah were also to be guardians of the ark.
25. 25ULBഇങ്ങനെ ദാവീദും യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരും സഹസ്രാധിപന്മാരും യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം ഓബേദ്-എദോമിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽനിന്ന് സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ പോയി.BSBBSB: So David, the elders of Israel, and the commanders of thousands went with rejoicing to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the house of Obed-edom.
26. 26ULBയഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ വാഹകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യരെ ദൈവം സഹായിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ ഏഴു കാളയെയും ഏഴു ആട്ടുകൊറ്റനെയും യാഗംകഴിച്ചു.BSBBSB: And because God helped the Levites who were carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD, they sacrificed seven bulls and seven rams.

David also wore a linen ephod.
28. 28ULBഅങ്ങനെ യിസ്രായേലൊക്കയും ആർപ്പോടും കാഹളനാദത്തോടും തൂര്യങ്ങളുടെയും കൈത്താളങ്ങളുടെയും ധ്വനിയോടുംകൂടി കിന്നരവും വീണയും വായിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.BSBBSB: So all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, with the sounding of rams’ horns and trumpets, and with cymbals and the music of harps and lyres.
29. 29ULBഎന്നാൽ യഹോവയുടെ നിയമപെട്ടകം ദാവീദിന്റെ നഗരത്തിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ ശൗലിന്റെ മകളായ മീഖൾ കിളിവാതിലിൽകൂടി നോക്കി, ദാവീദ്‌ രാജാവ് നൃത്തം ചെയ്യുന്നതും പാടുന്നതും കണ്ടു ഹൃദയത്തിൽ അവനെ നിന്ദിച്ചു.BSBBSB: As the ark of the covenant of the LORD was entering the City of David, Saul’s daughter Michal looked down from a window and saw King David dancing and celebrating, and she despised him in her heart.
