1യിസ്രായേൽ മുഴുവനും വംശാവലിയായി രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു; അത് യിസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. യെഹൂദയെയോ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം നിമിത്തം പ്രവാസികളായി ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.So all Israel was recorded in the genealogies written in the Book of the Kings of Israel. But Judah was exiled to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.

3യെരൂശലേമിലോ ചില യെഹൂദ്യരും ബെന്യാമീന്യരും എഫ്രയീമ്യരും മനശ്ശേയരും താമസിച്ചു.Some of the descendants of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh lived in Jerusalem:

6സേരഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ യെയൂവേലും അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരുമായ അറുനൂറ്റി തൊണ്ണൂറുപേരും (690)From the Zerahites: Jeuel and 690 relatives.

7ബെന്യാമീൻ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ഹസ്സെനൂവയുടെ മകനായ ഹോദവ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ സല്ലൂവുംFrom the Benjamites: Sallu son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;

8യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകനായ യിബ്നെയാവും മിക്രിയുടെ മകനായ ഉസ്സിയുടെ മകൻ ഏലയും യിബ്നെയാവിന്റെ മകനായ രെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകനായ ശെഫത്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ മെശുല്ലാമുംIbneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, the son of Michri; Meshullam son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah;

9തലമുറതലമുറയായി അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തമ്പത്താറുപേരും (956). ഈ പുരുഷന്മാരൊക്കെയും അവരവരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിൽ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു.and 956 of their relatives according to their genealogy. All these men were heads of their families.

11അഹീത്തൂബിന്റെ മകനായ മെരായോത്തിന്റെ മകനായ സാദോക്കിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഹില്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി ദൈവാലയാധിപനായAzariah son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the chief official of God’s temple;

12അസര്യാവും, മല്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ പശ്ഹൂരിന്റെ മകനായ യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകൻ അദായാവും, ഇമ്മോരിന്റെ മകനായ മെശില്ലേമീത്തിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ യഹ്സേരയുടെ മകനായ അദീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ മയശായിയുംAdaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah; Maasai son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;

13പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാരായ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും ആകെ ആയിരത്തെഴുനൂറ്ററുപതുപേർ (1760). ഇവർ ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷക്ക് അതിസമർത്ഥർ ആയിരുന്നു.and 1,760 of their relatives, the heads of their families, able men for the work of the service of the house of God.

14ലേവ്യരിലോ മെരാര്യരിൽ ഹശബ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ അസ്രീക്കാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഹശ്ശൂബിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവുംFrom the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, a descendant of Merari;

15ബക്ബക്കരും ഹേറെശും ഗാലാലും ആസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ സിക്രിയുടെ മകനായ മീഖയുടെ മകൻ മത്ഥന്യാവുംBakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah son of Mica, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;

16യെദൂഥൂന്റെ മകനായ ഗാലാലിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ ഓബദ്യാവും നെതോഫാത്യരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന എല്ക്കാനയുടെ മകനായObadiah son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechiah son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.

17ആസയുടെ മകൻ ബെരെഖ്യാവും ആയിരുന്നു. വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായി ശല്ലൂമും അക്കൂബും തൽമോനും അഹീമാനും അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ശല്ലൂമും അവരുടെ തലവനായിരുന്നു.These were the gatekeepers: Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman, and their relatives. Shallum was their chief;

18ലേവ്യപാളയത്തിൽ വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായ ഇവർ കിഴക്കു വശത്ത് രാജപടിവാതില്ക്കൽ ഇന്നുവരെ കാവൽചെയ്തുവരുന്നു.he was previously stationed at the King’s Gate on the east side. These were the gatekeepers from the camp of the Levites.

19കോരഹിന്റെ മകനായ എബ്യാസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ കോരേയുടെ മകൻ ശല്ലൂമും, അവന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിലെ അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ കോരഹ്യരും കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായി ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്ക് മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും യഹോവയുടെ പാളയത്തിന് പ്രവേശനപാലകരായി മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നവരായിരുന്നു.Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his relatives from the Korahites were assigned to guard the thresholds of the Tent, just as their fathers had been assigned to guard the entrance to the dwelling of the LORD.

20എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മകനായ ഫീനെഹാസ് പണ്ടു അവരുടെ അധിപനായിരുന്നു; യഹോവ അവനോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar had been in charge of the gatekeepers, and the LORD was with him.

21മെശേലെമ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ സെഖര്യാവു സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കൽ കാവല്ക്കാരനായിരുന്നു.Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

22വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ഇവർ ആകെ ഇരുനൂറ്റി പന്ത്രണ്ടുപേർ. അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ വംശാവലിപ്രകാരം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരുന്നു; ദാവീദും ദർശകനായ ശമൂവേലും ആയിരുന്നു അവരെ നിയമിച്ചത്.The number of those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds was 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. David and Samuel the seer had appointed them to their positions of trust.

23ഇങ്ങനെ അവരും അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും കൂടാരനിവാസമായ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾക്കു മുറപ്രകാരം കാവല്ക്കാരായിരുന്നു.So they and their descendants were assigned to guard the gates of the house of the LORD—the house called the Tent.

24കിഴക്കും പടിഞ്ഞാറും വടക്കും തെക്കും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലുവശത്തും കാവല്ക്കാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.The gatekeepers were stationed on the four sides: east, west, north, and south.

25ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലെ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ഏഴ് ദിവസം കൂടുംതോറും മാറി മാറി വന്നു അവരോടുകൂടെ കാവല്ക്കാരായിരുന്നു.Their relatives came from their villages at fixed times to serve with them for seven-day periods.

26വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരിൽ പ്രധാനികളായ ഈ നാലും ലേവ്യരും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരായി ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ മുറികൾക്കും ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിന്നും മേൽനോട്ടം നടത്തിയിരുന്നു.But the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the rooms and the treasuries of the house of God.

27കാവൽ നിൽക്കുന്നതും രാവിലെതോറും വാതിൽ തുറക്കുന്ന ജോലിയും അവർക്കുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും താമസിച്ചുവന്നു.They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they were responsible for guarding it and opening it every morning.

28അവരിൽ ചിലർക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്കുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെ ചുമതല ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവയെ എണ്ണി അകത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയും പുറത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവരികയും ചെയ്യും.Some of them were in charge of the articles used in worship, to count them whenever they were brought in or taken out.

29അവരിൽ ചിലരെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾക്കും സകലവിശുദ്ധപാത്രങ്ങൾക്കും, മാവ്, വീഞ്ഞ്, കുന്തുരുക്കം, സുഗന്ധവർഗ്ഗം എന്നിവയ്ക്കും മേൽനോട്ടക്കാരായി നിയമിച്ചിരുന്നു.Others were put in charge of the furnishings and other articles of the sanctuary, as well as the fine flour, wine, oil, frankincense, and spices.

30പുരോഹിതപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ സുഗന്ധതൈലം ഉണ്ടാക്കും.And some of the sons of the priests mixed the spices.

31ലേവ്യരിൽ ഒരുവനായ കോരഹ്യനായ ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ മത്ഥിഥ്യാവിന് ചട്ടികളിൽ ചുട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയ സാധനങ്ങളുടെ മേൽനോട്ടം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with baking the bread.

32കെഹാത്യരായ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ ചിലർക്കു ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും കാഴ്ചയപ്പം ഒരുക്കുവാനുള്ള ചുമതല ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.Some of their Kohathite relatives were responsible for preparing the rows of the showbread every Sabbath.

33ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിൽ പ്രധാനികളായ ഇവർ സംഗീതക്കാരായി അവിടെ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു. അവർ രാവും പകലും തങ്ങളുടെ വേല ചെയ്യേണ്ടിയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു മറ്റു ശുശ്രൂഷകളിൽനിന്ന് ഒഴിവുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു.Those who were musicians, the heads of Levite families, stayed in the temple chambers and were exempt from other duties because they were on duty day and night.

34ഈ പ്രധാനികൾ ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു; അവർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു.All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs according to their genealogies, and they lived in Jerusalem.

35ഗിബെയോനിൽ ഗിബെയോന്റെ പിതാവായ യെയീയേലും ഭാര്യ മയഖായുംJeiel the father of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. His wife’s name was Maacah.

36അവന്റെ മൂത്തമകൻ അബ്ദോൻ, സൂർ, കീശ്, ബാൽ, നേർ,Abdon was his firstborn son, then Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,

37നാദാബ്, ഗെദോർ, അഹ്യോ, സെഖര്യാവ്, മിക്ലോത്ത് എന്നിവരും താമസിച്ചിരുന്നു.Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.

38മിക്ലോത്ത് ശിമെയാമിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടുകൂടെ യെരൂശലേമിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്നുMikloth was the father of Shimeam. They too lived alongside their relatives in Jerusalem.

40യോനാഥാന്റെ മകൻ മെരീബ്ബാൽ; മെരീബ്ബാൽ മീഖയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.The son of Jonathan: Merib-baal, who was the father of Micah.

41മീഖയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: പീഥോൻ, മേലെക്, തഹ്രേയ, ആഹാസ്.The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.

42ആഹാസ് യാരയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യാരാ അലേമെത്തിനെയും അസ്മാവെത്തിനെയും സിമ്രിയെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സിമ്രി മോസയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;Ahaz was the father of Jarah; Jarah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri was the father of Moza.

43മോസ ബിനെയയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അവന്റെ മകൻ രെഫയാവു; അവന്റെ മകൻ എലാസാ; അവന്റെ മകൻ ആസേൽ.Moza was the father of Binea. Rephaiah was his son, Elasah his son, and Azel his son.

44ആസേലിന് ആറു മക്കൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പേരുകൾ: അസ്രീക്കാം, ബെക്രൂ, യിശ്മായേൽ, ശെയര്യാവു, ഓബദ്യാവു, ഹാനാൻ; ഇവർ ആസേലിന്റെ മക്കൾ.And Azel had six sons, and these were their names: Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
