My wrath will not be poured out on Jerusalem through Shishak.

BSB BSB: So King Shishak of Egypt attacked Jerusalem and seized the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the royal palace. He took everything, including the gold shields that Solomon had made.
10 ULB അവക്കു പകരം രെഹബെയാംരാജാവ് താമ്രംകൊണ്ട് പരിചകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കി രാജധാനിയുടെ വാതിൽ കാവൽക്കാരായ അകമ്പടിനായകന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു. BSB BSB: Then King Rehoboam made bronze shields in their place and committed them to the care of the captains of the guard on duty at the entrance to the royal palace.

BSB BSB: And whenever the king entered the house of the LORD, the guards would go with him, bearing the shields, and later they would return them to the guardroom.
12 ULB അവൻ തന്നെത്താൻ താഴ്ത്തിയപ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ കോപം അവനെ മുഴുവനായി നശിപ്പിക്കാതെ വിട്ടുമാറി; യെഹൂദയിൽ കാര്യങ്ങൾ നന്നായിപ്പോകയും ചെയ്തു. BSB BSB: Because Rehoboam humbled himself, the anger of the LORD turned away from him, and He did not destroy him completely. Indeed, conditions were good in Judah.

He was forty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city the LORD had chosen from all the tribes of Israel in which to put His Name. His mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonite.
14 ULB യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന് മനസ്സു വെക്കാഞ്ഞതിനാൽ അവൻ ദോഷം ചെയ്തു. BSB BSB: And Rehoboam did evil because he did not set his heart to seek the LORD.
15 ULB രെഹബെയാമിന്റെ വൃത്താന്തങ്ങൾ ആദ്യാവസാനം ശെമയ്യാപ്രവാചകന്റെയും ഇദ്ദോദർശകന്റെയും വൃത്താന്തങ്ങളിൽ വംശാവലിയായി എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; രെഹബെയാമിനും യൊരോബെയാമിനും തമ്മിൽ എല്ലാകാലത്തും യുദ്ധം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. BSB BSB: Now the acts of Rehoboam, from first to last, are they not written in the records of Shemaiah the Prophet and of Iddo the Seer concerning the genealogies? There was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam throughout their days.
