1 ULB “ആ കാലത്ത് അവർ യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അസ്ഥികളും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ അസ്ഥികളും പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ അസ്ഥികളും പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ അസ്ഥികളും യെരൂശലേംനിവാസികളുടെ അസ്ഥികളും ശവക്കുഴികളിൽനിന്നെടുത്ത്, BSB BSB: “At that time,” declares the LORD, “the bones of the kings of Judah, the bones of the officials, the bones of the priests, the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the people of Jerusalem will be removed from their graves.
2 ULB അവർ സ്നേഹിച്ചതും സേവിച്ചതും പിന്തുടർന്ന് അന്വേഷിച്ചതും നമസ്കരിച്ചതുമായ സൂര്യനും ചന്ദ്രനും ആകാശത്തിലെ സർവ്വസൈന്യത്തിനും മുമ്പിൽ അവ നിരത്തിവയ്ക്കും; ആരും അവയെ പെറുക്കിക്കൂട്ടുകയോ കുഴിച്ചിടുകയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല; അവ നിലത്തിനു വളമായിത്തീരും” എന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്. BSB BSB: They will be exposed to the sun and moon, and to all the host of heaven which they have loved, served, followed, consulted, and worshiped. Their bones will not be gathered up or buried, but will become like dung lying on the ground.
3 ULB “ഈ ദുഷ്ടവംശങ്ങളിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവർ എല്ലാവരും, ഞാൻ അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന സകലസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവർ തന്നെ, ജീവനല്ല മരണം തന്നെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കും” എന്ന് സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്. BSB BSB: And wherever I have banished them, the remnant of this evil family will choose death over life,” declares the LORD of Hosts.
4 ULB “നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടത്: ‘യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഒരുത്തൻ വീണാൽ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുകയില്ലയോ? ഒരുത്തൻ വഴി തെറ്റിപ്പോയാൽ മടങ്ങിവരുകയില്ലയോ? BSB BSB: So you are to tell them this is what the LORD says: “Do men fall and not get up again? Does one turn away and not return?
5 ULB യെരൂശലേമിലെ ഈ ജനം നിരന്തരമായി പിന്മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നതും വഞ്ചന മുറുകെ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് മടങ്ങിവരുവാൻ മനസ്സില്ലാതിരിക്കുന്നതും എന്ത്? BSB BSB: Why then have these people turned away? Why does Jerusalem always turn away? They cling to deceit; they refuse to return.
6 ULB ഞാൻ ശ്രദ്ധവച്ചു കേട്ടു; അവർ നേര് സംസാരിച്ചില്ല; “അയ്യോ ഞാൻ എന്താണു ചെയ്തത്?” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് ആരും തന്റെ ദുഷ്ടതയെക്കുറിച്ച് അനുതപിച്ചില്ല; കുതിര യുദ്ധത്തിനായി പായുന്നതുപോലെ ഓരോരുത്തൻ അവനവന്റെ വഴിക്കു തിരിയുന്നു. BSB BSB: I have listened and heard; they do not speak what is right. No one repents of his wickedness, asking, ‘What have I done?’ Everyone has pursued his own course like a horse charging into battle.
7 ULB ആകാശത്തിലെ പെരുഞാറ തന്റെ കാലം അറിയുന്നു; കുറുപ്രാവും മീവൽപക്ഷിയും കൊക്കും മടങ്ങിവരവിനുള്ള സമയം അനുസരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ ജനമോ യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായം അറിയുന്നില്ല”. BSB BSB: Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons. The turtledove, the swift, and the thrush keep their time of migration, but My people do not know the requirements of the LORD.
8 ULB “ഞങ്ങൾ ജ്ഞാനികൾ; യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഞങ്ങളുടെ പക്കൽ ഉണ്ട്” എന്ന് നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നത് എങ്ങനെ? ശാസ്ത്രിമാരുടെ വ്യാജമുള്ള എഴുത്തുകോൽ അതിനെ വ്യാജമാക്കിത്തീർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the Law of the LORD is with us,’ when in fact the lying pen of the scribes has produced a deception?
9 ULB ജ്ഞാനികൾ ലജ്ജിച്ചു ഭ്രമിച്ചു പിടിക്കപ്പെടും; അവർ യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ധിക്കരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞുവല്ലോ; അവരിൽ എന്തു ജ്ഞാനമാണുള്ളത്? BSB BSB: The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the word of the LORD, what wisdom do they really have?
10 ULB അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരെ അന്യന്മാർക്കും അവരുടെ നിലങ്ങൾ അവയെ കൈവശമാക്കുന്നവർക്കും കൊടുക്കും; അവർ ആബാലവൃദ്ധം ദ്രവ്യാഗ്രഹികൾ ആകുന്നു; പ്രവാചകന്മാരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ഒരുപോലെ വ്യാജം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: Therefore I will give their wives to other men and their fields to new owners. For from the least of them to the greatest, all are greedy for gain; from prophet to priest, all practice deceit.
11 ULB സമാധാനം ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കെ ‘സമാധാനം സമാധാനം’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് അവർ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രിയുടെ മുറിവിനു ലഘുവായി ചികിത്സിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: They dress the wound of the daughter of My people with very little care, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace at all.
12 ULB മ്ലേച്ഛത പ്രവർത്തിച്ചതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ ലജ്ജിക്കേണ്ടിവരും; അവർ ഒരിക്കലും ലജ്ജിച്ചിട്ടില്ല നാണം അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടുമില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ട് വീഴുന്നവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവർ വീണുപോകും; അവരുടെ സന്ദർശനകാലത്ത് അവർ ഇടറി വീഴും” എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു. BSB BSB: Are they ashamed of the abomination they have committed? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush. So they will fall among the fallen; when I punish them, they will collapse, says the LORD.
14 ULB “നാം അനങ്ങാതിരിക്കുന്നതെന്ത്? കൂടിവരുവിൻ; നാം ഉറപ്പുള്ള പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ചെന്ന് അവിടെ നശിച്ചുപോകുക; നാം യഹോവയോടു പാപം ചെയ്യുകകൊണ്ട് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നമ്മെ നഞ്ചുവെള്ളം കുടിപ്പിച്ച് നശിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: Why are we just sitting here? Gather together, let us flee to the fortified cities and perish there, for the LORD our God has doomed us. He has given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
15 ULB നാം സമാധാനത്തിനായി കാത്തിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഒരു നന്മയും വന്നില്ല; രോഗശമനത്തിനായി കാത്തിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഇതാ, ഭീതി!” BSB BSB: We hoped for peace, but no good has come, for a time of healing, but there was only terror.
16 ULB അവന്റെ കുതിരകളുടെ മുക്കുറ ശബ്ദം ദാനിൽനിന്നു കേൾക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ ആൺകുതിരകളുടെ മദഗർജ്ജനംകൊണ്ടു ദേശമെല്ലാം വിറയ്ക്കുന്നു; അവ വന്ന് ദേശത്തെയും അതിലുള്ള സകലത്തെയും നഗരത്തെയും അതിൽ വസിക്കുന്നവരെയും വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളയും. BSB BSB: The snorting of enemy horses is heard from Dan. At the sound of the neighing of mighty steeds, the whole land quakes. They come to devour the land and everything in it, the city and all who dwell in it.
17 ULB “ഞാൻ സർപ്പങ്ങളെയും മന്ത്രം ഫലിക്കാത്ത അണലികളെയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അയയ്ക്കും; അവ നിങ്ങളെ കടിക്കും” എന്ന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട്. BSB BSB: “For behold, I will send snakes among you, vipers that cannot be charmed, and they will bite you,” declares the LORD.
18 ULB “അയ്യോ, എന്റെ സങ്കടത്തിൽ എനിക്ക് ആശ്വാസം വന്നെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളാമായിരുന്നു; എന്റെ മനസ്സു വല്ലാതെ ഉള്ളിൽ ക്ഷീണിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: My sorrow is beyond healing; my heart is faint within me.
19 ULB കേട്ടോ, ദൂരദേശത്തുനിന്ന് എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രി: “സീയോനിൽ യഹോവ വസിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അവളുടെ രാജാവ് അവിടെ ഇല്ലയോ” എന്ന് നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു. അവർ അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടും അന്യദേശങ്ങളിലെ മിഥ്യാമൂർത്തികളെക്കൊണ്ടും എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചതെന്തിന്”? BSB BSB: Listen to the cry of the daughter of my people from a land far away: “Is the LORD no longer in Zion? Is her King no longer there?” “Why have they provoked Me to anger with their carved images, with their worthless foreign idols?”
20 ULB കൊയ്ത്തുകഴിഞ്ഞു, ഫലശേഖരവും കഴിഞ്ഞു; നാമോ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടതുമില്ല. BSB BSB: “The harvest has passed, the summer has ended, but we have not been saved.”
21 ULB എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രിയുടെ മുറിവു നിമിത്തം ഞാനും മുറിവേറ്റ് ദുഃഖിച്ചുനടക്കുന്നു; സ്തംഭനം എന്നെ പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. BSB BSB: For the brokenness of the daughter of my people I am crushed. I mourn; horror has gripped me.
22 ULB ഗിലെയാദിൽ സുഗന്ധതൈലം ഇല്ലയോ? അവിടെ വൈദ്യൻ ഇല്ലയോ? എന്റെ ജനത്തിൻ പുത്രിക്ക് രോഗശമനം വരാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നതെന്ത്”? BSB BSB: Is there no balm in Gilead? Is no physician there? Why then has the health of the daughter of my people not been restored?
