BSB BSB: “Our father died in the wilderness, but he was not among the followers of Korah who gathered together against the LORD. Instead, he died because of his own sin, and he had no sons.
4 ULB ഞങ്ങളുടെ അപ്പന് പുത്രന്മാർ ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ട് അവന്റെ പേർ കുടുംബത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഇല്ലാതെയാകുന്നത് എന്തിന്? അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു അവകാശം തരണം”. BSB BSB: Why should the name of our father disappear from his clan because he had no sons? Give us property among our father’s brothers.”
5 ULB മോശെ അവരുടെ കാര്യം യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു. BSB BSB: So Moses brought their case before the LORD,
6 ULB യഹോവ മോശെയോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്: BSB BSB: and the LORD answered him,
7 ULB “സെലോഫഹാദിന്റെ പുത്രിമാർ പറയുന്നത് ശരിതന്നെ; അവരുടെ അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവർക്ക് ഒരു അവകാശം കൊടുക്കണം; അവരുടെ അപ്പന്റെ അവകാശം അവർക്ക് കൊടുക്കണം. BSB BSB: “The daughters of Zelophehad speak correctly. You certainly must give them property as an inheritance among their father’s brothers and transfer their father’s inheritance to them.
8 ULB നീ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോട് പറയേണ്ടത് എന്തെന്നാൽ: ‘ഒരുത്തൻ മകനില്ലാതെ മരിച്ചാൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശം അവന്റെ മകൾക്ക് കൊടുക്കണം. BSB BSB: Furthermore, you shall say to the Israelites, ‘If a man dies and leaves no son, you are to transfer his inheritance to his daughter.
9 ULB അവന് മകൾ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നാൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശം അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്ക് കൊടുക്കണം. BSB BSB: If he has no daughter, give his inheritance to his brothers.
10 ULB അവന് സഹോദരന്മാർ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നാൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശം അവന്റെ അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർക്ക് കൊടുക്കണം. BSB BSB: If he has no brothers, give his inheritance to his father’s brothers.
11 ULB അവന്റെ അപ്പന് സഹോദരന്മാർ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ കുടുംബത്തിൽ അവന്റെ അടുത്ത ചാർച്ചക്കാരന് അവന്റെ അവകാശം കൊടുക്കണം; അവൻ അത് കൈവശമാക്കണം;’ ഇത് യഹോവ മോശെയോട് കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്ക് ന്യായപ്രമാണം ആയിരിക്കണം”. BSB BSB: And if his father has no brothers, give his inheritance to the next of kin from his clan, that he may take possession of it. This is to be a statutory ordinance for the Israelites, as the LORD has commanded Moses.’”
12 ULB അനന്തരം യഹോവ മോശെയോട് കല്പിച്ചത്: “ഈ അബാരീംമലയിൽ കയറി ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്ക് കൊടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന ദേശം നോക്കുക. BSB BSB: Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go up this mountain of the Abarim range and see the land that I have given the Israelites.
13 ULB അത് കണ്ടതിനുശേഷം നിന്റെ സഹോദരനായ അഹരോനെപ്പോലെ നീയും നിന്റെ ജനത്തോട് ചേരും. BSB BSB: After you have seen it, you too will be gathered to your people, as your brother Aaron was;
14 ULB സഭയുടെ കലഹത്തിൽ നിങ്ങൾ സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽവച്ച് അവർ കാൺകെ വെള്ളത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ എന്നെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കാതെ എന്റെ കല്പനയെ മറുത്തതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെ. സീൻമരുഭൂമിയിൽ കാദേശിലെ കലഹജലം അത് തന്നെ”. BSB BSB: for when the congregation contended in the Wilderness of Zin, both of you rebelled against My command to show My holiness in their sight regarding the waters.” Those were the waters of Meribah in Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin.
15 ULB അപ്പോൾ മോശെ യഹോവയോട്: BSB BSB: So Moses appealed to the LORD,
16 ULB “യഹോവയുടെ സഭ ഇടയനില്ലാത്ത ആടുകളെപ്പോലെ ആകാതിരിക്കുവാൻ അവർക്ക് മുമ്പായി പോകുവാനും വരുവാനും അവരെ പുറത്ത് കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാനും BSB BSB: “May the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation
17 ULB അകത്ത് കൊണ്ടുവരുവാനും സകലജഡത്തിന്റെയും ആത്മാക്കളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ സഭയുടെമേൽ ഒരാളെ നിയമിക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ”എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. BSB BSB: who will go out and come in before them, and who will lead them out and bring them in, so that the congregation of the LORD will not be like sheep without a shepherd.”
18 ULB യഹോവ മോശെയോട് കല്പിച്ചത്:“നൂന്റെ മകനും എന്റെ ആത്മാവുള്ള പുരുഷനുമായ യോശുവയെ വിളിച്ച് അവന്റെ മേൽ കൈവച്ച് BSB BSB: And the LORD replied to Moses, “Take Joshua son of Nun, a man with the Spirit in him, and lay your hands on him.
19 ULB അവനെ പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും സർവ്വസഭയുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ നിർത്തി അവർ കാൺകെ അവന് ആജ്ഞ കൊടുക്കുക. BSB BSB: Have him stand before Eleazar the priest and the whole congregation, and commission him in their sight.
20 ULB യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സഭയെല്ലാം അനുസരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് നിന്റെ മഹിമയിൽ ഒരംശം അവന്റെ മേൽ വയ്ക്കണം. BSB BSB: Confer on him some of your authority, so that the whole congregation of Israel will obey him.
21 ULB അവൻ പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നില്ക്കണം; അവൻ അവനുവേണ്ടി യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഊരീംമുഖാന്തരം അരുളപ്പാട് ചോദിക്കണം; അവനും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ സർവ്വസഭയും അവന്റെ വാക്കുപ്രകാരം പോകുകയും വരികയും വേണം”. BSB BSB: He shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who will seek counsel for him before the LORD by the judgment of the Urim. At his command, he and all the Israelites with him—the entire congregation—will go out and come in.”
22 ULB യഹോവ തന്നോട് കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മോശെ ചെയ്തു; അവൻ യോശുവയെ വിളിച്ച് പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസാരിന്റെയും സർവ്വസഭയുടെയു മുമ്പാകെ നിർത്തി. BSB BSB: Moses did as the LORD had commanded him. He took Joshua, had him stand before Eleazar the priest and the whole congregation,
23 ULB അവന്റെമേൽ കൈവച്ച് യഹോവ മോശെമുഖാന്തരം കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവന് ആജ്ഞ കൊടുത്തു. BSB BSB: and laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as the LORD had instructed through Moses.
